We do the exact same thing with our toilet rolls. Im in my 60's and my hubby is in his 70's and its hard to turn completely around to get some paper. Lol.
Glad it’s not just us 🤣🤣
Why have I assumed all this time that I'm the only person who does that with the toilet roll? Just cracked up watching this.
Also, that balcony is MASSIVE - great spot!
LOL great minds and all that! The balcony was fabulous!
As always , Wonderful information. I Love your videos.!
Thank you so much!!
Thanks so much!
So wrapped to see that this has such a big balcony as we are booked in a similar cabin for a Northern Lights cruise in November. ...thanx so much for the info....whooo hooo!!!
Oh great! It was a fantastic balcony!
It is important to study the deck plans to choose your cabin. The balconies on the front and aft of deck 4 are double the depth (or more) than a standard balcony. BUT if you look carefully at cabins # 4174 and 4176 they are 4 times as big as a standard balcony. They are the only 2 cabins like this on the ship. 🎉 This is the same on all Pinnacle class ships.
Oh well spotted!
Nice , looks like a comfortable cabin.
It was!
Love you guys! Cheers from the US! I love Paulie's merch marketing! Will purchase soon since we are going on Celebrity Beyond win August. Really the TP behind the toilet has forever bugged me, especially when raising boys who - well you know... Hugs!
Thanks so much appreciate that, he does like a shameless plug! Celebrity Beyond is a fabulous ship. we loved our time on board!
Thanks you two for another great video! Love you guys, your always informative and amusing all at the same time!! Met you both ( and the sister in law) last August on the transatlantic voyage of QM2. The cabin is beautiful. Really like the colour scheme and layout of the cabin. I just got back from a Queen Victoria cruise to Panama Canal-Caribbean-San Francisco. Had a Standard Balcony , And yes Carol, the Queen Anne cabins are definitely a tighter fit. Love the glass shower doors! A huge step up from messy and sticky shower curtains !! Going on an Queen Elizabeth Alaskan cruise this September. My first Alaskan. Can hardly wait! Thanks Paul for the tip, I’m definitely going to try a Thatcher’s Gold !! Going to enjoy the beauty and elegance of QE’s decor ! Sorry guys but I’m a true dye in the woods Cunard Traditionalist! Art Deco styling is the ultimate best . Cunard Queen Anne decor is NOT for me ! Can we say Cheap 1970’s Motel combined with Tacky Las Vegas 1960’s, boys and girls ?? Expect to see the Rat Pack come around the corner in one of these QA videos!!😒🙄😂 LOL cheers! and keep the wonderful videos coming !!❤️
Now if the rat pack is on QA I am booking as we speak
Thanks so much Michael, hat was a great transatlantic cruise wasn't it! Oh that Panama Canal itinerary is definitely on our to do list. Sure you will love Alaska like we did too.
The bathrooms are definitely a step up. It is a modern ship and nothing like the traditional other Queens. Let us know what you think of Thatchers Gold!
The balcony is the most important thing. I sussed out the biggest standsrd bslcony on Queen Victoria and we got it!
It is! Glad you sussed it too!
Happy Nurses Week Carole Monday was Nurse’s Day but in US the hospitals go things all week.
Thanks for a great review AND a repeat of the Paulie Dance and for sitting on the throne always good to know ❤❤
Oh thank you Brigid! Lol glad you liked it!
Just realised we have the cabin on the opposite side of the ship to yours booked for our QA cruise
You’ll love that big balcony 😊
Now isn't it good? A deck plan represents the actual floor space of a cabin and its balcony!! Well done P&C, you have done this before on P & O, haven't you ? 😂😂
Lol yep quite a few times! 🤣
@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel well done, now tell me, who is the deck plan scanner/fanatic is it Carole or Paul? I'm guessing Paul ? 🙄
Hi both,
Thanks for showing the balcony cabin ,does look narrow ,but comfortable, decor very nice .😊
Your welcome!
Glad to see you are a fellow Quercus fan. First had this at the Charing Cross Hotel in London. My favorite (favourite:-) and always reminds me of London!
Yes love it!
So funny I watched this video with subtitles and wanted to let Carole know that when she refers to Paul as Pauly, the subtitles can't quite translate it so we had Po, Poy and Pole 😂😂😂❤
Lol will have to try calling him that! 🤣🤣
Some videos it says Pauline too lol
Lovely.
It is a great cabin!
A big cuddly bear hug? Mmm, I had one of those the day before you boarded. 😀
Lol you did! 🤣😍
Wonderful review. 4032. Paper roll is always on the counter while we sail. We stopped being contortionist many years ago. Cheers!!🥃
Thanks! Lol yes easy fix!
I just love the colour scheme of the cabin!
It is classy!
Awesome!!!
It was!
Great review thanks. Aren’t most of the balcony cabins on deck 4 (compared to deck 5) deeper? The deck plan seems to suggest they are all larger.
You are welcome! Only the most right at the aft and forward.
We are booked on Queen Anne for christmas and have the first 3 days at sea glad to see the tv has a good selection of films if the weather not good at that time of year till we get to the Canaries, the tv selection we had on Queen Victoria was last year was rubbish and I hoped Queen Anne would be better as it is new.
There is a great selection so it should keep you entertained!
Where is she off to next(The ship not Carol),Love you two you are hilarious
Lol thanks! She is heading on a two week cruise to the Canary Islands, wish we were too!
Just had a trip on the Marella voyager shocking noise from the air con spoilt the cruise
Oh really what cabin was that?
@@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel 4073
We had a similar cabin with that extra long balcony on our recent cruise on the Nieuw Statendam. Same bathroom.
It's great isn't it! Same pinnicle class of ship!
Love your videos. Are you able to find a cabin that sleeps 3 using the couch as a 3rd bed and is the couch the same as the one in the video but just makes out into a bed. We travel QE with 3 in each cabin but only with sofa bed as bit old for bunks. They appear to be on Deck 4 also
Thanks! Have you checked out the deck plans? You will then see which cabins accommodate more than 2 people, you can find them at the bottom of thos page www.cunard.com/en-gb/cruise-ships/queen-anne/0
Love it!!!!
Cheers Joy! It was lovely having all that space!
I hope you do a group cruise someday. I just may be on it. Love your videos!
We are doing two! paulandcarolelovetotravel.com/group-cruise/
Is the promenade deck narrow all the way around it?
It is. With a few areas you can look out which aren't covered with lifeboats.
I totally agree with you about the toilet and toilet roll. We always have to move it as well on other cruise lines! 😂
It is frustrating, why can't they just put them straight!
I know it’s like sitting side saddle! 😂😂 Mind you I’ve never ridden a horse ! 🤣🤣
Hi Paul and Carole we love your videos. They are so informative we have our booking for our room which is a Britannia balcony not sure if you have seen one of them it looks lovely on the brochure. Any once again thank you for the videos.
The stateroom in this video is a Britannia balcony cabin. I believe. At least, I've booked an identical room on deck 4 and I'll be dining in Britannia restaurant.
This is a Britannia balcony cabin, they are the standard ones on the ship.
You are right it is. 😀
This was a great tour. I loved the balcony. However, I couldn't stay in this cabin. There is no room to store my rollator walker.
If they could put in a bath stool and a handheld shower head, I could manage in the bathroom. I could use the edge of the sink as a grab bar to get up from the toilet.
Princess has accessible balcony cabins for the same price as their regular balcony ones. While the balcony was small, it met my needs. I sat in my rollator instead of the lounge chair. I did use the small table.
It is tight for space! The accessible cabins have a lot of space, just need to book early as they do get booked up!
As you were above the theatre, was there any noise?. Could you hear the shows going on below?. Thanks
We didn't have any issues with noise.
@@PaulandCaroleLovetoTravel nice to hear.
I used to be a head housekeeper in 4 and 5 star hotels and the amount of coat hangers that got stolen was ridiculous.. particularly if they are branded. Honestly if it's not nailed downstairs will go.
So sad people want to do that but not surprising!
Question- since you were on Deck 4
Did you have any noise in your cabin from the theatre below?
No problems at all.
The reason the W.C.pan is at an angle is that the duct behind the W.C. pan has foul water and service pipes from your bathroom and from the bathrooms in the decks above. To accommodate those services and pipes and allow access for maintenance the W.C. pan has to be at an angle so at not to reduce space in the bathroom.
Thanks for the info!
That is a whopper of a balcony. Great size.
Yes it is fabulous!
😳 the bars are removable. I never knew that. Is that all ships
Not all but always good to check!
Thank you so much for the info. I’ll be checking from now on because I hate that bar
Very surprised so many US electrical.. Is this going to be home ported in US? This is similar to Princess mini suite on their older ships.Carole from US. Enjoy your reviews!
Not that we are aware of!
Simple numbers. Most passengers on Cunard ships are Americans so they are catered to and rightly so. Just numbers. Brits and other Europeans hsve their plugs availsble as well.

Right then and where’s the bravo golf?
Lol sadly missing!
I loathe those coat-hangers too!
Yep a real pain!
I don't know why, but I'm not a fan of the toilet being on an angle!
No get that!
Ship's internet BLOCKS Google Docs, Google Sheets, all VPNs, Microsoft Outlook, Google Maps and many other productivity sites. Unless you're retired or won the lottery, DO NOT step foot on this ship if you have a real job and need to do any work whatsoever.
It doesn’t block VPN’s I had mine on the entire cruise on the top package without any problems what so ever.
Looks awful, no different to the rest. Pitiful, wouldn't waste my money, clearly cruising has lost it's edge. Thanks for warning me, won't be bothering any time soon.
Well guess our work is done then. Glad you found it useful.
