- In today’s video I will be using Aqua Cast water based eco resin in my apple jar moulds to create apple shaped candle vessels which I will then fill with apple scented candle wax. I LOVE the result!
Thank you for watching and helping me to INNOVATE, INVENT and INSPIRE.

OH MY STARS WOMAN!!!!! These are absolutely stunning! You never cease to amaze and inspire ! Fabulous. Just. WOW!❣
Louise, these apples are stunning! I am in awe. Now I have to try it. BTW, I never tire of hearing you say “bubbles.” Please don’t stop saying it. 😁🍏🍎👏🏻
You have made the apples 🍎 very realistic looking. The wax certainly changes the appearance of them. Love them -your granddaughter’s teachers will love them.
I enjoyed the epoxy apples, but the slightly matte finish of the aqua cast ones really does give them a very authentic apple feel. They are lovely
You have surpassed yourself with these Louise, they are just amazing! The painting of the apples is truly talented - as is your ingenuity with adapting the mould. Bravo 👏🏻
Aw thank you ever so much ❤️🥰
Oh Lou these are spectacular! If I was your granddaughters teacher I would be over the moon to receive one of these. Your makes are always so professionally done. Well done you!xxx
Those apples look good enough to eat! Most realistic thing I've seen in a while. Great job 😍
Thank you ever so much ❤️
Absolutely gorgeous & so realistic. Love these. Thank you sooooo much for your amazing tips regarding this mold. I would have had a stalkless, out of shape, bubbled filled mess if I’d not watched you before I tried my mold. You are truly inspiring.
These turned out, absolutely wonderful. You did a great job anticipating problems ahead of time. Like you, I think the wax is like a magic trick in making them come to life.
I am so in love with these. All 3 are stunning. I just love the reddest one, for me that one is the show stopper! Your Granddaughter has some very lucky teachers. Thank you very much for another very inspiring video tutorial, Louise.
Thank you so much Pauline ❤️❤️❤️
Those apples are sooo beautiful and they look so realistic !!!
Noooo, I LOVE how you say "bubbles", Lou! Please continue saying it. 😁💕👍
ALL your apples are exquisitely done, and look very realistic. WOW! The red one is *GORGEOUS!* 😍💕😊 I spend a lot of time "faffing around" with my projects, too. 😊 I'm a bit of a perfectionist - okay, a lot - and not always pleased with my efforts.
I had no idea wooden wicks make a crackling noise! Yeah, I like it! A mini-fireplace. 😁
Thank you for these wonderful tips, Louise! 😊💕😍
Thank you so much my friend ❤️❤️
They are sooo realistic! I love your eye for detail! Thank you Louise.☺️💐🇬🇧
WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO realistic!!!
🤩 WOW!!! These are absolutely stunning, Louise!!
I love the crackling sound, reminds me of a now warm fire in the fireplace. These apples turned out so cute and perfect for teacher gifts
Thank you ever so much Laura, I agree the crackling gives a very cosy feeling.
Those are absolutely amazing! That wisp brush is really cool and works so perfectly for the apples! They really are lifelike and I love them!
Those apples are so beautiful, I felt like I could take a bite out of them!
Those candles came out absolutely beautifully!! I didn’t like the apple in normal resin so a huge thank you for sharing your brilliant idea! 🍏🍎❤
They’re beautiful Louise, I love them. Thank you so much for showing us. I’d love the red one x❤
Love the red one--they are all beautiful and look like apples!
They are beautiful, and now you got me wanting to make candles. I love the way the wooden wicks sound.
OMG.....how awesome are these apples 🍎 Thanks for sharing your hacks as well❤
These are beautiful! So realistic you could almost taste them.
Wow they are awesome..very realistic! Nicely done Louise!
They all look so beautiful and real looking. Thank you for sharing😊 💐
I just love your videos using aqua cast. These apples make me want an apple crumble!
Glad I’m not the only one!
Your apple crumble wants me to eat it lol
These are absolutely amazing Louise, thank you for sharing your techniques 😊😊
I worked in concrete in my younger years and we used a vibrator to force the concrete down into the forms which worked very well so I use that same idea for crafting. I have a muscle massager that when adjusted between high and low will vibrate the wet material to eliminate air pockets and bubbles. Give it a try.
Absolutely lovely! Only change I would make next time would be to paint (the red one) with the lid on the jar so that there's a point where it looks like a whole apple.
Wow! They are so realistic. Love them.😊❤
They came out gorgeous Louise!
The apples are spot on! ❤
Your apples are beautiful! I wish I had waited to try this mold until after your video. I used hydrostone when I attempted the apple & pear molds. The broken top of the apple stem has been in the mold since mid March (& is still there). Thank you so much for sharing your fantastic ideas. I absolutely love hpw you painted this.
LOVE Love L❤️VE all the apples
They look so real! Great job!❤️❤️❤️
These are fabulous..so realistic
Well done!❤😊
Ohhh Im in love 🥰 absolutely stunning 😍 you’re my favourite ❤️
I am literally speechless. I think they are so so good. I expect to see these on aqua casts website soon! Honestly Lou you should be so so so proud of yourself. These are beyond incredible. I’ve not seen anything like this xxxx
Shell you always make me smile. Thank you so much my friend ❤️❤️

How lovely, you're so clever, a genius in fact, as they look identical to apples. I bet they smell gorgeous too. How apt - an apple for the teacher, what a great idea. Thank you for a superb tutorial. Take care, and have a great week ahead. xx❤❤😊😊
Thank you so very much for your kind words ❤️
This was a great idea with that mold…. I just got that mold!!! Wow thank you 😊
Your always so inspiring!! You make things look so easy.. these are absolutely adorable! I would love to try these!
just mouth watering, now I need to get some apples
You did it again, they look yummy. ❤❤
Love them Louise. Wish I had smelly telly for these.
WOW!!! So realistic!! Gonna have to try this.❤❤❤❤
Each one looks great!
So real looking ❤
Beautiful and lifelike.
Absolutely amazing!! Love these, wish we could get the mold in the UK
They look amazing ❤
I find floral Styrofoam to be awesome for holding molds in shape. You can get spheres and tubes of it in so many sizes. Made all the difference for my cheaper jar molds that didn't have a shell.
Great tip, thank you!
I would add a little bit of PVA glue to the mix to help make it stronger for the stalk. Those do look great, though.
That’s a good idea! I must try that thank you.
These are so beautiful
Fantastic; thank you 😊 ❤
The one apple looks like a Fuji or Macintosh apple we have here in the States.
This is super pretty, hopefully the wick is large enough to melt the surface evenly. That’s sometimes the problem is the heat doesn’t reach the edge the candle will tunnel
You are right, I had that problem, next time I will double wick 👍
Thanks for the tips for aquacast in an epoxy mold. These can be applied to other molds too
So pretty!
These are beautiful
Lovely
They are astounding Louise, you are so talented. I use the same wax it is my favourite sealer of all time I would like to try the other scent too though. You have me hooked on wooden wicks too
Thank you so much Coyo-Tea. Yes wooden wicks are great although I’m finding getting the correct size for a good melt pool a little challenging.
Absolutely stunning Apples Louise. I would love to have a go at making one. However the painting part might be a struggle for me.
Thank you very much. The great thing is that they look great with or without paint ❤️
ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS LOOKING ❤❤❤❤❤ SO BEAUTIFUL TOO
I love them! Would you have been able to seal the inside of the Apple with the wax as well? Do you have to use the hydroflow for the candles? 😊
Good question. I just think tat using wax inside a candle might not be very permanent due to the heat so I use the sealer just in case.
Those are the most realistic apples I've ever seen anyone make! Does acrylic paint extender have another name? I can't find it here.
Thank you Sandra, I’m not really sure of other names but I’m sure there are alternatives, you could even try diluting with a little pva glue or something similar. I’m sure my dad once used washing up liquid but don’t quote me on it lol.
