It’s great to see you reviewing our map - something that we put a load of effort into - it’s nice to get some recognition.
Excellent job on the review, I’ve been Thrilled watching the entire thing. (It has been really interesting seeing your opinions on our build techniques and more.
There have been a lot of things in this review that you weren’t sure of - which makes sense, you’re not as nerdy as our team 🤓. If you curious about some of them, or perhaps why we chose certain techniques, by all means ask.
Lastly, you made some points about there being a lack of rooms to explore in some of the Tardises. We realise the missed opportunity, we have planned to add more rooms and sets if we ever get around to updating the map.
Awesome! The map is absolutely amazing, and I'm super glad it's getting some more attention. As for the extra rooms, I was being super fussy lol, but if you did ever want to update it then I think that would be a great way to go!

The café exterior is actually the the same diner that Amy, Rory and River meet up in after the Doctor’s death in the series 6 premiere right before the (slightly) younger 11th Doctor shows up with his special straw (it adds more fizz 😀)
This is a genius idea, thought of making something like this before but never got round to it, gutted that it was made first😂
This is genuinely incredible, the level of detail and effort put into this is just astonishing, massive well done to the team!

12:50 so there actually two variants of the 80s console room wtih the one they built to be the 5th doctor's tardis ironically appears more with the 4th than the one they chose for four as for most of the first two tom baker seasons you never actually see the inside as I think the show runner at the time hated how the tardis looked and wanted it changed (i could be wrong) however we do see it in pyramids of mars (which is the one built here) and than is instally replaced with the secondary console room in season 14. and by season 15 with a new show runner the doctor goes back to the main console room (which consisted of repainted secondary console room walls) which lasted all the way until the 5 doctors where it was replaced with the one built in this map as the 6th doctor
3:30 by 'blow-up', they mean a photographic blow-up, so they used a massive photo of the roundels as one of the walls in the set
As for how weird it looks, yeah, but arguably it looks weird in the show as well, so I think they captured that well in this build

Thanks for showing off the map!! This was a fun project to do and I'm glad we were able to even finish it. There were a couple super minor things we never fixed for this map but what can you do haha. Oh there were a couple easter egg interiors you missed but they can be hard to spot.
oh no, what did I miss? I very nearly missed the doctors timestream but I noticed it while editing lol
@@DT10 If you click the button on the computer bank behind the master in the 4th doctor's set, you can go into the master's tardis. The other one is in the 7th doctor's set, if you walk through the black void doorway on the right it takes you to the season 27 interior which was never built but did has a miniature made. :)

Great vid. I went through the map myself and I noticed you skipped the master's tardis from classic who.
how did I miss it?? the map creators mentioned they might be doing some updates at some point, so maybe ill make a new video and make sure to cover it then :)

once i was building a tardis map and i went to get my vr to checks i it's size acurate to a vr player and i hit something and then I broke my finger
When you were in the 4th doctors secondary interior you mentioned the barrels bottom texture twice at 9:40
ah, probably just an editing mistake
You underestimate the power of the barrels.
I wonder if they'll update this map to include the New TARDIS when it's officially revealed.

if you saw my most recent video (which i'm assuming you didnt based on this comment), I've taken a break from youtube, because I'm not enjoying the content im making - that includes tutorials. so no, I wont be making the hell bent tardis at the moment

because there isnt really a block in minecraft that is that shade of green

@DT10 ^^^ couldn’t have said it better myself.
There aren’t many blocks that provide the pastel mint look that we were looking for. Most options that we had were either too textured, bold or saturated.
@@plasticstraw8650 for sure, I had the same problem when I built mine aaages ago. closest you could probably get these days is verdant froglight for the roundel lights... not sure what else tho

argh! this is like a Mandella's effect, but let's call it "tennant's effect" anyway, 10th doctor tardis HAVE 6 PILLARS, i am repeating 6 coz in (quiete literally) last episode of 10th doctor life we can se when he regenerates, tardis crushes, and WE CAN SEE HOW 6TH PILLAR falling apart during this process. god damn this is freaks me out. that's anoying innit?
that's odd... did I just make up the fact that some tennant episodes have 4 pillars? lol
but anyway that's your point of wiev and i can't argue with it, becouse your oppinion is your oppinion, think that 10th tardis interior have 4 or 5 pillars, go ahead, i will don't tell u that your oppinion is trash e.t.c. think something about timeless child plot? allons-y! maybe i will agree with you.
oh, and btw i have something to say about Timeless child plot
here my theory:
so, we saw how doctor quiet literally reboothed whole universe 1 or more times (i don't remember) AND after 11th reboothed universe with [pandorica, Amy Pond, TARDIS, vortex manipulator e.t.c.] in this new universe's timeline was revritten this way that all of this happend with Tectun and wormhole and another universe, and maybe another universe was reboothed too (by accident(u know, Medusa Cascade e.t.c.))
But that's just a theory!
