I appreciate your videos. I get caught up in all the latest and greatest gizmos and methods of knife making when there really is no need. You make functional, good looking knives using the old ways.
i have watched this video 3-4 times. i love the way you transform a piece of scrap and a plain antler stick into not only a useful tool, but a lifetime heirloom keepsake for someone. keep it up buddy. great work. randy
Nice skinner. I really like using the old hay rake tines. I've also been told they were 1095. I make primitive knives also. I just found your channel and subscribed. So far you are spot on and I like your work. May God Bless.
Thanks Brian! It’s good to get back on here. I’ve been so busy I’ve not had a lot of time to make a video but hopefully it won’t be as long before I can get another going
Lots of folks dont understand that us country folk run into the darndest things at the darndest times. I carry mine 24/7. In the last 20 years I've had coyotes try and attack my dogs. Feral pigs destroy fence and garden, had feisty possums dead set on getting in the garage, snakes galore... etc.. even had a couple of does get feisty with me trying to stomp dogs barking at them. The thing is, it's like a knife, rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.. I swear theres a country song in there somewhere...🤣😜
Great video man. I really liked the pewter technique you used. Did that all come from one pour? Or Did you do more than one. Its a great look i would like to try. I appreciate you sharing and any more info you have on doing the pewter pour well. Have a great day.

Great job as always, sir. Quick question: Are you taking commissions at the moment? And if so, how much do you think it'd cost to commission a 7-8 inch clip point knife?
@@oldsouthforge831 Sure, thanks for responding. I'll continue to pop up in the comments section, and we can see how the situation is with your availability and my pocket health in the near future. Cheers!
