"Not outstanding design, but better design ... Design should not dominate people. Design should help people". Very inspirational to me and others the world over.
You can also see this video in the "Less is more" exhibition which is currently taking place in the Musuem für angewandt Kunst in Frankfurt, Germany. Where you obviously can see the products itself.
True, but neither could apple really argue that their designs and concepts are original, refined maybe but not orignal. Jobs quoted him and took it as his own as so often did with other peoples work but yes Picasso did say it and Jobs took/borrowed/stole it to make it into a quote of his own.
Anyone know anything about the speak shown at 2:22, like when it was designed? I have a pair of British designed B&W DM70 Continental and there is some aesthetic similarities, though the B&W are much less Braun 'looking'.
It's the L2 Loudspeaker, designed in 1958. It was only produced in a small run of 400 units and cost 235 DM. Materials include laminated wood, natural wood, metal, and nickel-plated steel.
Really? Name me something Steve designed by himself without stealing anything from any other person. He was a man who was good at stealing. He wasn't a visionary or anything better. He was a thief. Dieter was an amazing designer and Apple is still stealing designs from him today. Hence why the new Mac Pro is a Braun coffee machine.

After 12 years, UA-cam algorithm suggested a gem. ❤
I'm amazed by the things I heard in this video, simple things that make all the difference!
Dieter Rams is a genius!

truly a master of industrial design, and in generall. Big Inspiration
this... is the type of ambition that I have, I want to be like that sir when I have his age. so awesome.
things that don't seem obvious or lay beneath the surface will be spectacular when someone recognizes it.
loved his work from my childhood but didn't know at that time that it was all doene by one guy #Honor
He was part of a team, he would be the first person to put that straight. - RAMS the film is a great expander of this short film.

Thats why I Love my 1967 F 100 Flash
the problem of this great man was that he was beyond his time.

We need more designers like Dieter who create good design and less people like Steve Jobs who can only recognize it.
Things should be made simple, but no simpler.
Feeling inspired as well. Does anyone know the songs name? fits perfectly....
+Christian Montane Floating Shells by The Suit, Inc.
I love the Denglish
Whats the song?

돈없는 사람도 부담없이 사용할 수 는 없는 걸까?
What is the song at 4:37?
@MyPersonalUserName new structures
@PhiklasNilipp why's that?
True, but you can't sign Jobs under Picasso's quote.
What did he mean by the "unspectacular" things?
Well no Design to impress the people... Nothing spectacular that's fancy for short time, but functional timeless design that lasts long

@maxfeles du auch? ich habe da meine bedenken... nichts für ungut^^
Pablo Picasso.
Apple is the next Braun. Ive is the next Dieter Rams.
I wish I could have some of that stuff.... we can not get any German Radios in my area of the world....it is all from China ☹️👎
Apple is not the next Braun! Look at T+A, NAD, Proton and many others...Years before apple copied the design of Dieter Rams.
Cheers
Good artist copy...great artists steal: Steve Jobs 1994
Scumbag Product-Designer:
"I never use this term: Form Follows Function"
Designs efficiently functional stuff.
