hello, i hope you're still there to reply..i enjoyed the video tutorial though it's fast but i slow down the speed
to catch up ..i just want to ask, i am using sketch up 2017, how come my tools are less? i can see that yours are more? where can i find or copy the additional tools? thank you very much..i am still practicing and i think its fun to add more knowledge..

you would find it much quicker and less error prone to use the rectangle tool to draw the plan... even better if you established an appropriate grid snap dimension

Thanks, yes this is my main profession, if i have free time i will make more tutorials on youtube, most of my furniture models are downloaded from 3d warehouse, just the floor plan and kitchen i draw 2d to make 3d

Thank you, when I stop recording my video I put the furnitures there then I hide, when start recording video again I unhide the furnitures, this is just a trick to speed up the video process, sorry if you are confused

ty. im having trouble with the plugins. i downloaded the link. and followed the steps but i cant seem to find the plugins/extensions in my sketchup. pls help :(
close all open Sketchup applications, copy folder plugins that you have downloaded to the drive where the Windows system is installed select users / your computer names / AppData / Roaming / Sketchup / Sketchup 2015 or 2017 / Sketchup / Paste Plugins folder there, it should work

how do we get pasted some designer furniture in sketchup?
sorry if you are confused, i do not record when i import models furniture i set them into position after that i cut all furniture and start recording again in last scane then paste in place. this is just to speed up the video process
Just curious. Why do you make every wall segment its own group?
Makes it easy to hide when you're set furniture in the room or it's easy to make scane rendering if the viewing range is limited

whenever i load ur model in to my sketchup my workspace in limited ..like the screen splits with the corners being a little darker while the center space is perfect ..why is that so .?
