It’s fun to see you go for a lap by yourself and get to have a little fun with an old friend. I hope you are enjoying your time off Misha and recharging. I really miss seeing your energy and smile behind the wheel like Sabine had on camera. Wishing you Happy Holidays!
The pick up and turn in on the car is unbelievable, must be a privilege to drive your old race car again, your driving skill is simply outstanding and incredible massive fan Misha ❤❤
I drove with this car for like 16 laps this year and I can confirm. incredible car. I drove it on ps4s so it wasn't that sticky. The back of the car felt really catchy on cold tires and specially when braking you have to hold it straight. Besides that an incredible build. Would love to drive it again but on semis.
turning on this thing was crazy, even on the first lap, looked to me like it was glued on the asphalt. what a nice build, didn't expect it from a cupra (not because they're bad, I just happen to have zero experience with them)
@@vestexl2698 But, living in France and being in the auto industry, I agree with you. When I said it's a golf, it was to avoid going into details... more in general. Seat, VW, Skoda, Audi and many others use many elements between them, including the complete chassis and engines and gearboxes.
It's a nice reminder that 300hp is not a small amount of power, and a good handling car with "only" 300hp will be fast as heck if you know what your doing.
I'm seriously impressed by stopping power! Just gently pressure on the pedal, and speedo drops significantly The beauty of lightweight car with strong brakes, perfectly balanced suspension, semislicks and decent power=racecar 😊
Such GREAT Cars! I have a 1.2TSI and I swear, it is one of the best handling cars I have owned!!! So much fun, and I have owned M3:s in the past! Seat built a great little package with the Leon ❤
Alright. Now I know what car I should rent when I will visit Nurburgring again. And if this will end up with a photo with Misha, my Romanian friends will go crazy happy. Perfect situation
A stunning couple of laps, just a shame that traffic stops the flow occasionally. If only my '02 Cupra ran on rails like this one. Love your content Misha, you're a true legend ❤
This was the first car I drove on the Nordshleife. Surprisingly fast, feels much faster than I'd expect from a 300hp hatch and it's a very confidence inspiring car. Super grippy, and I didnt have the semi slicks on because it was damp. Only thing I didn't love... the steering felt very heavy to me. Maybe I need to work out more lol. But I needed to rest every 2 laps. Not sure how you manage a long race in this 😅 I had a Golf GTI before and steering in that was very light. Maybe its from all the suspension changes.
As always Misha a fantastic couple of laps ( Camera work included ) Fair to say the changes made on the Cupra are clearly very noticeable. I really enjoy this style of video although I am aware they take a lot more time to create with both yourself & George involved. Credit to George for all the knowledge, research & hours he’s put into the car making the changes. Looking forward to getting back over to the Nurburgring from the UK next year 🙃
I'd love to come visit from Finland to have you do a lap in my Leon ST "Carbon Edition" but first I'll have to install a few upgrades to avoid some hiccups that the last Cupra had a few videos ago. Also, after having watched how nice this Cupra looks and handles I'm afraid my car would be underwhelming to drive. Nice video as always Misha!
I had the privilege to drive this very car for two laps early this year. Though I was much slower then you (obviously) I had much fun and felt like driving a real racecar. A great experience I hope to repeat next season, if the new concept of APEX will allow so?! By the way: The UVEX helmet you are wearing in this video. Would you recommend it for a hobby TFler like I am?
Really enjoyed this one. Pushing that car to the limit. That big brake event because of the second biker was scary on the warm-up lap. Also, thanks for the explanations for people on the other side of the pond. Had not idea this was using Volks parts.
Misha I found Georges words quite funny in the beginning. I remember a phrase between Stoner & Rossi and the question was "did your Ambition out way your Talent" in either 2011 or 2012 at a wet Jerez race after a crash between them. Glad you had fun in your old car. 👍
Happy to know you were CUPRA driver, don't knew it! It will be good next year you can test a CUPRA Tavascan on The Ring. Now days I prefer electric cars.
Harder coiles on the rear and roll the arches, can they add abs doesnt seem to have as even the great mishas racing hands going crazy just to keep it civil on the 1st lap. 2nd one 😢 dam yellows and you where definitely in the zone at the end flat out ❤
Waiting for the part 2 of seeing this on trackday.. just needs that rear rubbing fixed, must be something that can be offered by the racecar tcr parts that could fit and fix the issue
Hey Misha. Could you give us camber settings and spring rates for the cars you drive (if the owners have them) It would be very interesting for people who own these cars to create an idea of where to start, to achieve a similar result. Hope this helps the channel as well.
Amazing car, awesome driver 😁 what call me attention was the fuel range xD one lap and don't move the 250km 😅 my Skoda Octavia vrs tdi in 30 or 40 seconds the range down to 100km 😂😂😂😂
Nice car totally love de looks of that generation Cupra. Ow wait got the same , that's why😅. Awesome driving. The fast part the speeds stuck at 215 in M5? What was the reason for that? Hope to see another lap in the car again.
How do you find the front end on throttle? I was on the ring with my cupra and as soon as you apply throttle frend end is nowhere. Like the car has no front diff. Did you do any modifications to overcome that?
It’s fun to see you go for a lap by yourself and get to have a little fun with an old friend. I hope you are enjoying your time off Misha and recharging. I really miss seeing your energy and smile behind the wheel like Sabine had on camera. Wishing you Happy Holidays!
Amen!
I’ve got a Cupra 300 DSG. Highly underrated cars. Mighty fast for a family hatch and also comfortable and well specced. Make for a great daily.
It's good to see George again. It would be even better to see some of the others, too - Robert, etc.
this
Miss the Apex crew

No understeer or slip on corner exit and even though that front wheels are having to do all the work it just stays on it's line. What a setup.

It`s a golf 😉
@@THESHADOW97139you are clueless the golf r has 4 motion nothing like the fwd cupra
@@BalkanBoyBiH golf gti 😉
gti tcr or clubsport, not normal gti. And they r not prepare the same. Brakes on Cupra ar far better than any gti.@@THESHADOW97139

I love Cupra MK3, my car with 402hp, it's so good, chill, Stage2 with downpipe, easy and fun

Drove this car in October - FANTASTIC. PLS dont sell it I cant wait for spring to drive it again!

The helmet is amazing!!!

That was some race pace levels of aggression. Awesome to watch.
Good to see George again!
So smooth. Love the late apex. You are a hero!
Thank you for teaching me something new about AR1 tyres ❤️
Nice checkered chemtrail pattern in the skies
and mega nice car.. seems extremely fun

De terugkeer van een race legende!
Мишаня , круто заехал , машина огонь просто и мощность и стабилизация 🔥🔥🔥🔥

19:20 you need to have balls of steel for that move
it was awsome, entry and hold in "carulsele" also exit... :-) Master of piece.
At one with the car, in the zone, flow state whatever you call it, that's it.
Jesus christ, how? How does one drive THIS good?? Bloody well done mate
Being a great race driver with thousands of laps of knowledge! I love how he can get in any car and within 2 mins can push it to the limit though.
The BMW that started in front of you in the second lap shot out quickly
My lap with u in this 2 years ago was one of my favorite. 😊
Yay part2 coming soon❤
Waiting for the part 2 of seeing this on trackday.. just needs that rear rubbing fixed, must be something that can be offered by the racecar tcr parts that could fit and fix the issue
Funny when Misha is driving like a bat out of hell and the look is like cruising around LA in a traffic jam with a tired look on his face.

Lol... 😮😅
FWD is hella fun and nothing will change it
havent watched you in a minute been real busy glad i got videos to catch up on tho
Feels like it has been ages since we have seen George, or Diana or Robert for that matter.
Das Auto hat mich voll begeistert mit dem Tuning und den sliks geniales Fahrverhalten. Schade das 2 mal yellow kam :;)=
That machine is a god damn weapon!!! ❤

Wow, 2 years ago... time flies.
Amazing car, awesome driver 😁 what call me attention was the fuel range xD one lap and don't move the 250km 😅 my Skoda Octavia vrs tdi in 30 or 40 seconds the range down to 100km 😂😂😂😂
Not for sale? This is a perfect track car for me as a disabled person!
Не ожидал от Сеата такой прыти😮 респект 👍
Cupras in my country doesn't have front fog lights.
I'm I de only one whom noticed how amazing de fuel consumption actually is😮
Very cool hatch 💪🏻
What a machine bro. Why you didn't take George with you man?! ✌️
That's an absolute weapon :o
Such a good platform. Might have to jump ship in the future 😅
Used no fuel too, awesome!
Nice and smooth
Amazing car! Seat 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Awesome💥 Love Seats
Good video
Need more shop stuff!!
I hope that lady driver puts that cone back where she found it.
Radical!
Some weapon!
Can we recognize the age of the recorded footage based on the pedal cam? (basically your new boots vs the older ones?)
Anyhow again 2 very nice laps!
It's the same story everytime..if no one overtake you you are driving what in italy we call "gran cannello" lol❤
Misha, i really think it would be a good investment if you buy a m140i rwd with good suspension upgrades with stock power.
Me reacting to a super fast lap and then seeing on the time line that "Faster lap" is coming
Misha you are a Monster
Hey Misha how are you? While i do enjoy the onboard videos i do miss the vlogs. Have a great day 🙂
George, we missed you
Beautifully neutral car
Great job
Keep it up
Dam that's scary 12:50😨
Obersteer at 210kph, And Misha was like “hm thats weird” 😂
@@vitanohyl not oversteer the tire slipped because of oil on track maybe 😭

I really missed the Cupra, it would be awesome if it could be a 4wd
They exist! It is called Cupra 4Drive
Seat Leon cupra r st is 4*4
That's what the golf r is for
awd would make it awesomely slower!, knobs and fantesies of awd-ing, ffs, go and drive a tractor on a field! 🤦🏿♂️
i would probably smile at least sometimes i do when driving alone. why does he looks so sad. 😅
yey new video
Really fuel efficient, this car!😂
irony?
Enjoyable!
My brain tells me the whole lap was done at a constant 250kmh
wow amazing, this car only need gasoline when it stops🤣🤣🤣
@misha Do you happen to have the specs for the rims? :) Happy new year!
Seat 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉Cupra ❤❤❤
12:50 That shit was scary
Looked like a fun couple of laps! Does a racecar like this have ABS?
woooow this car save gas,, woooow wooooww😲😲
Ok, that’s proper fast. But what’s up with the wheel rubbing? Is that normal for a build like this?
I missed this car! And finally a video with George again! Also what happend at 11:35? Just the rear losing traction?
Looks like lift off oversteer to me indeed
Ich bin selber motirrad Fahrer aber auf der touri Runde finde ich das viel zu gefährlich für alle Beteiligten
Finally solo cruising :D
Where do you get the carbon Doors cards? and , What have you done with the wheel arches so that they are 265 and do not rub?
something dosn't add-up
special N-ring build rubbing tires !?
How do you find the front end on throttle? I was on the ring with my cupra and as soon as you apply throttle frend end is nowhere. Like the car has no front diff. Did you do any modifications to overcome that?
Do you make any line changes when driving a front wheeler?
Why not increase the ride height a little more to avoid the rubbing?
