As a college Professor I have found myself alienated by the fact that my colleagues believe in their ability to think above God, while I choose to surrender. God in his faithfulness has used me to draw others to him.

As someone who has been delivered from New Age and such a similar story to Jackie, her delivery and the way she speaks/teaches makes me want to get closer to God.

I've been studying the bible for quite a bit now and I have so many questions that I haven't found a satisfying answer to. I haven't been a Christian for even a year yet, and I've just had so many questions that have driven me to fear and, at times, doubt. Hearing this has helped me drastically. I believe I was beginning to put wordly knowledge over God's knowledge. Truth is, God never quite makes alot of sense with the things He says and does. The point you made about Jesus being confusing to the Jews and Gentiles about salvation to a point of rejecting Him really placed something on my heart. I was almost an atheist at one point(agnostic leaning towards atheism) when I found God. I had to remind myself what brought me to Him in the first place. And this helped me remember. Thank you so much. I wasn't even looking for anything like this, but God knows what you need before you even ask Him. God bless you sister in Christ :3

Please ask Jesus to fill you with the Holy Ghost for you will have power, spiritual gift(s), and the evidence with speaking with other tongues.
It's very important to read/study *Audibly 'The Word' Everyday to renew your mind, cleanses, strengthen, builds you faith, heals..
It's important to associate with Equally Yoked Christians not unequally yoked lukewarm Christians or Unbelievers, they can weaken you. Pls ask the Lord Jesus Christ in his name with Faith to send the right Christian associates in your life. Pray for discernments to protect yourself, beware of opinions, *misinterpretation (where is this scripture/pray for *confirmation of interpretation ) ?ministry laying hands to pray for you be aware/careful.
[Pray without ceasing] This may sound intense but pray with faith for a short versatile ie 'Plead the Blood of Jesus' (an in between offensive prayer against the enemy) with your other concerning prayers along the way too. We definitely have to ask forgiveness/repentance entire day/night with bedtime prayers too.
1 Peter 5:8-9 KJV Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walk-through about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
I hope I didn't offend you :) and sure you may know all this but at least hopefully Someone else can glean from this too. 🎶 I had some hard mountains to climb, I won't complain. I care for others to help them avoid the pitfalls in this life. So Take CARE.🆗⚓
Don’t underestimate the influence or attacks of the Enemy also. He exists and it’s out there doing his job, and well. There’s a battle for your mind and soul. Especially if you’re a recent convert. Bless you.

Have you ever read Mere Christianity, by Lewis? My history is similar to yours and this book helped me so much. And, of course, develop your relationship with God and studying His word.

I love how she talks about learning about others' oppression to be a servant in Jesus and minister to them in a meaningful way. I think sometimes Christians come off so condescending, they miss the whole point. Jackie is a shining example to us all, she walks the walk so we listen when she talks the talk 💫🙌

Like what things become important in your prayer life, in the message that you wish to share, how getting your audience to perceive and actually grasp what you're saying, even how you practice. Today was my first day of pre-medical school and I can already feel the pressure, that so many of my graduate student Christian counterparts have told me about, of believing and trusting in the intelligence of myself and my colleagues over and above God. This message is one I needed and one that I’ll continue to need as I go through pre-med and medical school, and practice the balancing act of putting my ultimate trust in the wisdom of God as I learn scientific/medical concepts.

A person with knowledge knows that a tomato is a fruit, not a vegetable. A person with wisdom knows not to put it in a fruit salad. You speak the truth with wisdom. Thank you for teaching that knowledge without wisdom can be foolish. Thank you for teaching that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
I have read and heard these passages many times since returning to faith in Christ. As a former Christian turned atheist, I believed the worldly wisdom and fell into the trap of thinking I was smarter just as Jackie talked about. I let hurt and resentment of things that happened to me because of people change what I believed about God not realizing that my faith to begin with was not rooted in Jesus, but in a religion my mom pushed on me. I am proud and happy to say God never gave up on me. Even though I went astray and did things my way, He accepted me with open arms. In the beginning, Jackie said to be a teacher, you must first be a student. This has been one of the biggest challenges I've faced in my walk because I used to go to church just to go and hear a sermon, but lately I have figured out that if I'm not regularly reading the word and praying, I will never be able to be a teacher who helps make disciples.. One thing I have to say is that if you don't make time to read and pray daily, you wont ever truly know God and his heart. It's great to go to church every sunday and hear a word, but if you're not applying it every day that you're not there, it doesn't matter. If you're not making time for God and his word EVERYDAY, then you wont grow in Him. The biggest realization I have had this year is that I will never make sense of God and that isn't for me to understand now. Nothing I do in this life will compare to the things He has done and continues to do so anything I do should be to glorify Him, who's name and righteousness will live forever.

I learned to fear God by one day realizing that smoking marajuana was not Godly AT ALL. I was telling people how I'm a Christ follower until I realized that it wasn't Christ like to smoke!!. I began to fear God the correct way. I quit smoking like I was about to get a drug test lol. That was it for me! God is definitely first in my life. ...NOW I feel comfortable with saying I'm a Christ follower. Stay blessed everyone. May God be with you all in these trying times. Thank you Jesus! !🙏🙏🙏

Wow thank you for being a vessel....My intimacy with the Lord is lacking. I can feel that. The thirst is real...for the Lord...yet I don’t read his word for me.
