I hate that knives get ruined by having 1 awful animation. Top example being the skeleton, if it didn't have that awful draw animation it would really compete as one of my favorites.

I hated Kukri upon release but am now president of Kukri enjoyers club. If you set the switch hands button to something spammable you can run around like that Valorant character with the floating knives.
Most knives in CS are genuinely good tbh. I only actively dislike Kukri and maybe Shadow Daggers and would not mind using other knives for either the animation or looks.

The way your character holds it is off, the hands looks weird and the knife is too close to the crosshair (I think it exceeds it actually). I feel like Bowie does the job of "Big, weirdly shaped knife" better :D Basically there are too many things to dislike and not enough uniqueness in the knife imo. People can hate Navaja or Daggers but they have to admit at least those knives are unique😅
The Bowie is just a cleaner Kukri. It's ironic that it was only when a worse large knife was released that people realized that the Bowie was decent. Thankfully Valve added the left hand to the Bowie relatively quickly into CS2.. So we can be certain that the Bowie is mid tier now.
My hot take is bayonet is better than M9, M9 is just too big for me mean while the bayonet is still big and thiner than the M9 just a very clean look especially with skins
Huntsman Knife A tier??? I get the point that you got a lot of blade for relatively cheap but the knife IMO has a weird shape with no animation instead of the OK draw one.

If the normal animation of the stiletto (tip of the fingers) was 100% of the time, best knife in the game. They changed it so it's 50/50 now. It sucks i hate the throwing animation. Karambit is the best. Consistent and cool.

@@tstonehouse I currently only have some BS snow leopard gloves but I was planning on upgrading them to FT with a couple of my other skins… and my lore is a karambit sorry auto correct kicked my ass… a few other knives but yeah huntsman black pearl is probably my final outcome… I also have a ,008 phase 1 huntsman to throw In the mix…
I have own almost every knife and for that i say this list is pretty close to mine. Talon would be s tier if valve would fix cliping of inspect animation. I agree with M9 a tier at maxium, really cool looking blade but boring animations and thump cliping is awful. I would personaly drop to huntstman to b and raise to ursus in a tier. I would also drop falchion on really low b, it's basicly good knife i just dont like how you can barely see your other hand while holding a knife. And flip knife to c tier i just dont get it why so many like this knife i have hard time to say anything good abaout this knife.

Ngl shitting on the navaja is justified but the stiletto also has a kinda ugly handle, small blade, and similar pullout animation where you flick the knife out Also the Hunstman and M9 are massively overrated, boring ass knives with only 1 animation. People schlobber over the blade design because they are big and generic

For me its the Survival knife which has the goat rare draw animation but is ruined by the other 80% of the times when you draw it.

M9 should be S tier, It has the biggest smooth blade face without being ugly, its also consistent no annoying rare animations. 😮💨

Huntsman may be goated imo I am in the process of getting a black pearl for my mw lore Kara! Early game it was my favorite knife!
