True - the first 108 years of the tour no Englishman ever won the TDF, and since 2012 six of seven tours have been won by Englishmen on the clean Team Sky
Jens Petersen he still is clean. Anyone that thinks a human can do this insane race natural is completely retarded. Probably the same people thinking NFL players are natural too.
Ha! And again! at 1:07:36 I see my red Saab in the background (white umbrella over the bonnet). Me and friend are the two white tee-shirts behind. It was an amazing day, first time we'd seriously got to the TdF. We'd been on Ventoux a day or so before but where shattered in the crowd at Chalet Reynard.
TraumaER I’m not hating on what Lance did, i muself am a cyclist. I was stating that the way he rode especially in the mountains using that high cadence was great. Now EPO will make you have better stamina because of blood cell growth and add that with blood transfusions and other stuff they used, you will be better.
TraumaER he was always in great cardio shape and maybe just genetically the drugs helped him that much more. If i had plenty of money I would love to try it just to see the difference.
@@rumpwrangler1102 well they say his VO2 max is in the mid-80s which is ridiculous by itself. But I also saw he dominated triathlons after his Tour De France days which shows he can also run and swim pretty fast. I think the world would have been better off not catching him with the EPO. We need a world where heroes can motivate without accusations. Still a legend though.
You do realize that out of the top 21 riders 20 of them were convinced or involved in a doping scandal. They were all doping in that Era, don't be pissed an American whooped ass
@@adamjankowski7679 you obviously didn’t watch Cadel Evans win the tour. Armstrong was the best cheater of his time. He wasn’t a ‘climber’; he was a single day race specialist, until Ferrari turned him into a machine. Why not just watch the best robots race the Tour? Armstrong was a disgrace, and he didn’t win a single Tour as it turns out, in fact he never even completed one. "Virenque proved he can win clean...".. that one was good I laughed heartily
That is fucking hysterical :)
Yea, I laughed too. It is easier to name those who DID ride clean (they were at the back) than name all the dopers.

In what year did the UCI require the riders to wear helmets. For awhile they could take them off on the climbs but not the flats.
2005
I noticed 2000 TDF there was scarcely a helmet in sight. Another money making scam.
