I feel the PH market looks at Colt with nostalgia and brand recognition, especially older folks. Kind of like a fashion designer brand. Every time I visit PH (and I mostly talk to older folks) give Colt a high regard. "Gusto ko ng Colt Gold Cup". You like the brand, ok. But objectively there are other 1911s that beat it in performance and within the same price range. I do want Colt and all manufacturers to be successful. At least Colt is not as much annoying to me than Sig Sauer.

As for the Colt yep I heard about their quality issues and that CZ now manage and own them.
I feel the PH market looks at Colt with nostalgia and brand recognition, especially older folks. Kind of like a fashion designer brand. Every time I visit PH (and I mostly talk to older folks) give Colt a high regard. "Gusto ko ng Colt Gold Cup". You like the brand, ok. But objectively there are other 1911s that beat it in performance and within the same price range.
I do want Colt and all manufacturers to be successful. At least Colt is not as much annoying to me than Sig Sauer.

Kaw na mag process kasi doble bayad pag ipina process mo sa iba like gun stores. At saka bawal pala naka shorts sa police station just a warning lang.
