1:21:40 this is where my sister and I started a 9 day journey and there were some really uphill battles for us to come. Nice video, I know how much time I put in mine!
We’ve heard that! At the time, there weren’t buses available going on our dates and we were booking last minute of course haha but we’d love to go back and do that epic portion one day
@@ellieandsenciNext time: there is a train from San Sebastian to Hendaye (French town right next to the bridge to Irun), which takes you there in 20 minutes
It was nice walking with you through your video. We walked Pondiensis, if you want another adventure, may I suggest, it's beautiful as well. Keep inspiring.
We are finishing it, will be up in the next few days! Thank you so much! If you needed it now, we have day by day on our channel, playlist is Camino Del Norte, even more detailed from day 1 to day 34 🤗😊
I really enjoyed your video. It s not the route I want to take. But so far the best and well put together video i have been. Thanks for sharing your experience. From California 👍🏼🥾🥾
Thankyou I enjoyed your vlog BUT I am not sure your short train journey from Boo then through Cudon was in any way shorter than going round the river. I follow the routes by "street viewing" options and that option seemed to me the long way or at least an equal option. I had already tagged my walk for next year (round the river) but tagged your route to compare - cheers
Plan to do the French Way in 2027 and eventually The Portugal Way, now I think I will need to do this way as well. So maybe from 2027 to 2030 I'll be busy ...lol
Secret to doing long days are plenty of snacks and a break for every 5km. So, just a little tip back as a thank you for a really good and affordable video.
Great videos of the Norte! Just curious what guide book you are using? Every one I have looked it is really thick and heavy. Yours looks thin and compact!
the norte seems infinitely more scenic than the frances. Is it because you captured mostly the highilghts in the videos? Were there more tedious stretches that were cut out frequently? Trynig to gage whether to go for norte - hiking solo am anxious about the long stretches in the mountains :)
Hey guys. Friend and I are doing the Norte the first week of April. We were going to do the Frances but after watching your videos switched it up. Question for you. Without sleeping bags how did you find the temperature at night? I've heard some Albergue's do not provide blankets etc. We were going to bring sleeping bags on our trip but you guys did not. I would love to leave the extra bulk of a sleeping bag at home but concerned about chilly nights in early April.
Hi from Bosnia and US, we used Buen Camino app, has all routes in the app just make sure to download your route and there you can find the latest information about albergues being opened or closed and if you want to call and book for the private ones 🤗 Buen Camino.
Hello! Thank you for this great video. One question for you, if you can please help me: which town would you choose to stay a couple of nights in between San Sebastian and Bilbao? A place to enjoy the beaches and the town itself? Thank you!
Hi guys, how many days total walking did it take you to complete the hike? My partner and I are looking at spending some time in Europe after the camino and have given ourselves 40 days to complete it (not including the days we have given ourselves a couple days to stay extra i.e. bilbao, santander, san sebastian). Would it be better to allow for 35 days? (40 too much?) We are fit :)
You two complain too much. Way too much. It's raining, the hills are too steep, my feet hurt. A couple of spoiled millennials without any of the spirit of a pilgrim.

Thank you very much for your words :) Anna from Aves de Paso, Pendueles
The mountain route from Irun to San Sebastián was one of my top three favorite days on trail. If you ever go back I highly recommend it.

I agree, I 'have to been to Aves de Paso in may. It is a fantastic place, Anna is so welcoming and heartwarming
So glad other people got to experience her heartwarming welcome, she is just the best!
Great seeing the long story of your adventure
Glad you enjoyed it.
What a fun video, and beautiful ending! Thank you for sharing! 💞

Love YOU!! ☺️❤️
I had walked the del Norte in May of 2022. Thank you for the video, it brought back so many great memories
I like the accommodation reviews ❤❤
Thank you, glad we could help 😊🤗
Do you have a video for days 18-end? This is the most informative video I have found yet.
We are finishing it, will be up in the next few days! Thank you so much! If you needed it now, we have day by day on our channel, playlist is Camino Del Norte, even more detailed from day 1 to day 34 🤗😊
Very nice route
Love your video! Thank you! Is there day 18-end video please?

Great video and information. When did you begin? Was this in May?
Thank next week to go
Ellie, In what month your Camino do?
What month did you do the Norte?
Thanks Mike
We did it during spring, April to May ☺️
there are many more paths to take courage
Were there days where it was hard to get an albuerge?

Hello from Nova Scotia Canada - I’m planning on walking in September 2024❤ What apps did you download for your trek? Thank you!

What month did you walk?
We walked during spring, mid April to May and it was beautiful weather and scenery!
Thank you. I'm planning a June walk this year. I've always walked early spring or fall. So a tad concerned about heat.
Hello! Thank you for this great video.
One question for you, if you can please help me: which town would you choose to stay a couple of nights in between San Sebastian and Bilbao? A place to enjoy the beaches and the town itself?
Thank you!
Zarauts is a wonderful little town with an amazing beach with a nice atmosphere. And San Sebastian, it's self, much bigger and so beautiful.

Finisterre way
Isn’t it amusing how some people don’t get what the Camino is all about…
…it’s a spiritual journey.
…not a hiking trail to cross off your bucket list.
Nice video guys but I wonder Why didn't you show the interesting churches along the way? There are so many with religious and historical wealth.
Couldn't take the time to learn to pronounce correctly the names os de places???/
