@@nick-ig3to Lol. I couldn't even get Thursday tickets because my theater didn't sell Imax tickets until the next day and by the time I found out, all the good seats were gone. Seeing it Friday and I still feel like that's too late.

I think the non-IMAX footage in this video is trailer manipulation and only the IMAX footage comes in the movie.
It's very easy to imaxify non imax filmed movies, they did it for all the phase one movies during the imax rerun so I just think that they haven't reccieved the imaxed footage

I love how we're talking about how the movie is meant to be seen -- and then over half this damn video isn't in IMAX format! If your channel is named IMAX, the least you could do is make your videos in IMAX format.
Kinda of makes since, but how many of you have at least 6.5K monitors that could actually view it in all it's glory. The new 8K monitors aren't cheap. So, I'm thinking less than %1.

yes i live in the LA Area. there are 3 IMAX Theatres. Chinese Theatre which is the biggest IMAX, 2nd place is Citywalk & 3rd is AMC16 Burbank which is my prefered IMAX. all of them have IMAX Laser & every now & then have 70mm showings for certain movies

Well anyone who gets to see it in IMAX are lucky because my local Odeon (Silverlink) are doing it in IMAX 3D, 3D, 2D & yet I only wanted to watch it in IMAX only. These films are meant for IMAX not IMAX 3D. Anyway complained about Shazam being in IMAX 3D, 3 Weeks Later they are showing it in IMAX only 👏👏 🙌🙌

The real question is, IMAX 3D or IMAX 2D?
I'll tell you a better way to display it: VR: 3D, giant screen (which can go beyond any IMAX in size and be set anywhere in the Universe or your imagination), could potentially show stuff that exists beyond the confines of the screen, etc. And this will be even more true as VR headset are capable of higher and higher resolutions and the technology gets better and better.
