Weird to see starting blocks without platform on the back in an international meeting...
Not all that uncommon. Even the 2008 Olympics and 2009 World Championships had no block at the back. The track start block is fairly recent.
@@kraikk cause that was like more than a decade ago... even my local high schools have a wedge on their blocks now
@@kraikk but I meant from 2010 where they were first introduced
Those blocks are very "ridged" maybe that's why? And idk if they could take the blocks out I can't recall at the moment.
@@kraikk Backplates are approved in early 2008 and were first used in the 2009 world cup..... Most pools that host championship meets in America (1star-5star) are equipped with some type of adjustable backplate... This international meet should also have backplates. You are already using the OMEGA timing system and the OMEGA streamline, how hard could it be to install some temporary adjustable backplate?
2nd place...those were some huge turns...the guy's got potential!
boy you were right
Not the prettiest butterfly but great time.
honestly his dps is insane id say its super pretty
If he just got his hands flatt instead of out it might look better
Go go IKE...
