Well spoken Bryan. Gods truth is in you. You two guys are the reason I rededicated my life to Christ.
Been a KoRn fan for over 23 years now... and I'm here to tell you first hand that KoRn saves lives. I'm one of the lives that has been saved through their music. A lot of Christians might not understand that or think it's "evil" or "blasphemous" but it's not. I remember talking to my Grandma MANY years ago before she had alzheimers... and we used to talk about religion a lot, how it was there for her, and I told her how KoRn was there for me.. I told her I never felt like God was ever there for me... and to this day I will never forget what she said to me when I said that... she smiled and said "How do you know God wasn't there for you? He was there all along and gave you something to hold onto with KoRn." And it hit me like a ton of bricks.. God works in mysterious ways... and I found an outlet through KoRn.. got me so through so many dark times in my life.. and ya know if God had a hand in that, it makes even more sense. All I know? KoRn is a very positive thing for a lot of people. I'm living proof. So for Head and Fieldy to stay in KoRn to continue to be there for those fans like me? It means the world and it's very positive. :)
So God curses through KORN'S songs? The Holy Spirit anoints people who sing this crap? Not in a million years.

More "Christians" turn people away from the Lord than what some consider "secular" or "worldly" people. The judging has to stop, most people beat themselves up enough without needing others to help. Let these men work out their own salvation in fear and trembling.
I understand but I can't understand why They as Korn members don't change things about the music and images in is giving out. The demon status and languages. God says in the Bible to mind our tongue it can be used as a playing ground for the DEVIL

I see a lot of people giving their "opinions" on whether or not Mr. Welch & field should be a part if or not be a part of this band, but does anyone care about God's opinion? it's clearly obvious they are right where God wants them & they only have to answer to God, not us... so, instead of wasting time on your opinions, how about get off your rear end & go preach the gospel like they are! 😄

I feel exactly the same in my work place! It's very worldly and I've thought about leaving but it's like God won't let me. I'm called to be a light in that place and if not me then who?
I just wanted to share something here. I get it when they say these are my people. And when Brian said he wanted to cry when he saw them. That's not someone who is back sliding. That's a heart who understands deeply the pain. Someone who goes to church every sunday and has no experience with that type of pain, they will never reach these people. They smell you miles away and turn and run. I grew up with rage and homicidal thoughts every day. I wanted the world and everyone in it to die. I know for a fact that if I had had a gun, I would have used it on everyone then on myself. I was sold out to evil even though I was raised in church. I knew the bible forward and backwards and hated God with a passion. You know what I see here? I see someone who understands people the way I do. I'm drawn to those who are suicidal, filled with rage because deep down, something happened to cause it. I love the fact Brian understood EVERYONE is God's because He made us all. We are created in His image meaning we are all a family. Granted, most are estranged family members but we were meant to be one family. There's a book out by David Pierce called "The Rock Priest" that chronicles his journey in obeying God and forming "No Longer Music." This is a band that will go to places no other sane person would attempt to go. When they formed, their first appearance was in a night club in Amsterdam in the early 1980s. Why? Because that's where the lost sheep were. They all hated God and church seeing the church as the ones who betrayed the people and sided with government all over Europe. The stories told of where the band went are some insane places but each place had the holy spirit fall on the people. In the midst of screaming and spitting and cursing at the band, young people would fight there way to the stage and kneel in front of the mob to surrender to Jesus. They would walk through the Red Light District and David's wife would go behind the window and talk with these women. Those around David saw his wife and made comments like she was a prostitute herself. David said he hated it but was reminded Jesus had the same done to Him. He was labeled a drunkard and every other thing because he hung out with the "UNCLEAN" crowd. If we simply go to church and never go to where the hurting are, we will never reach those Jesus reached. Lost sheep go to lost sheep places. They will NOT go through a church door. It's OUR job to go to their hangouts like Jesus did. Is it wrong to go to a bar and hang out with the drunks? Jesus did. He even ate with these people and if you know some culture history, that was taboo because it was an INTIMATE thing in that culture. Jesus basically outcasted himself from the rest of the "unclean" people. Today, it's no different. "Christians" have a very bad idea of what the Bible says. We have modernized it with church traditions and not with actual facts. We have this idea that our traditions are the supreme law when in fact, biblical text trumps church tradition. Whatever else there is to say, I respect Brian. Speaking of Jesus to this crowd takes guts and a humbled heart. Enough said

I'm sorry, but I'm so tired of people judging these guys. Please stop with the religious, legalistic attitude. Brian has said in so many interviews that he didn't want to go back to Korn when they asked him to and he was extremely hesitant. He was the one that had the "religious spirit" at first and basically had the attitude that he didn't want to be around all of that stuff, but that everything was pointing to it. If he really was going back for the money, he would have done it way before 8 years. He talks about when he was out of Korn and dead broke looking for change in his couch to buy his daughter lunch. I'm sure when things got that bad, he would have just went back to Korn then. But no, he relied on God to get him through that. What a humble man, after having all that money, he still obeyed God and stayed out of Korn. Then, in Gods timing, he went back to bring people to Christ. There are countless stories of Korn fans coming to Jesus because of these guys. Even 1 guy that was at a Korn show and got saved because of Brian, then ended up dying in an accident sometime after. Imagine if he hadn't met Brian and came to know Jesus. I love what these guys are doing. I'm sure that if they were back in Korn for selfish reasons, they wouldn't be doing anything for God. Why would they? Clearly, they are doing Gods work. We need to pray for them. Head: keep leaning on God to guide you. I pray that He keeps you safe and that you tell as many people as you can about our loving Jesus and precious gospel. Not many people have the platform you do to reach these people the way you are. Dallas Ledford Thank you!!!!!!!! I’m right there with you on this ! In fact I see the the ridiculousness of the stuff these religious spirits throw around and my mouth drops most of the time because these people use Gods word to cause harm and go looking for it in that respect but have absolutely no idea of the real truth of what they’re reading and saying. I had that same experience where I was radically changed and have been since. It makes no sense that I’m different to me and I know people that know me are riddled. People have no idea what that walk ad journey is like going through what God walks you through to test your obedience and love for him like Brian has gone through as well as. Many other people he’s touched that way. . So when I see how he’s attacked I ant help but yo explode at times and fight for his agenda. First and gormost it’s about Gods plan and agenda for the lost and second... Brian and Fieldy have this obvious heart for God and his people that is so precious and real . I know so many people that have been moved to believe and changed because of this ministry and the history of it all. I’m talking about some of the most hardcore Atheists I’ve ever known ! I’m just grateful to see someone else who sees the truth of it all! 🙏✊️

If you a follower of Christ then being involved In Satanic stuff will not end well for you. My two cents: read tons of the “you don’t get it it” comments and I guess on the surface they make sense. Stay away from bad influence. BUT, these two guys are WAY out front with who and what they are, servants of Jesus! The same Jesus who spent most of his time among the worst sinners, not the “righteous men”. Every fan at their shows has to be aware of their rebirth in Jesus, and if that opens the door to some poor schmo saying to themselves “ hey my hero’s/role models are saved, it must be cool or have something to it, let me check it out.” Then cool. Can’t pull the lost and doomed out of the gutter by staying home preaching to the choir.

Jesus spent time with sinners to show them the way. Could you imagine Jesus strapping on a bass guitar and playing songs about sex, beating people up ? Jesus caught people doing business in the Holy temple and He kicked them out and turned over their tables and chairs. He judged them and told them they were doing wrong
God uses those who are available to him. We are not perfect, we are all broken and messed up. Yet. He uses us right where we are at. When we miss the fact that God is powerful, we miss the message that God uses broken people. We don’t come to God all cleaned up. We go to him to be cleaned up. Thank you Brian for sharing the love and Jesus with others who can’t react the audience that you can.
Honestly I think that knowing that Head and Fieldy both became Christians was part of what started me on the road to Christ. Eventually I became a born again Christian after being a completely lost atheist for many years. When I trusted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ for my salvation almost two years ago now praise the Lord.

We are what we listen to. when we are angry or hurt by heart break, we listen to vengeful "get back my ex" songs, as just one example.. as we engrave the lyrics into our heads from listening to the song on repeat, it becomes more than just a thought and like people have said for a while now "be careful your thoughts, they become your words; be careful your words they become your actions." (unknown author of that quote) but the bible says the exact same thing in different words all throughout the book of proverbs. And myself being an ex-LaVey Satanist and recovered drug addict, I will say from first hand experience that it's VERY hard to stay away from sin when you are hanging out with people who sin. I relapsed bad a few times after being baptized and giving my life to God.. not on any fault of God, let me make that real clear, but again because I tried to compromise and "balance" a life of sin with a life of freedom and peace only offered through God and understanding the purpose of Jesus blood. Giving your life to God is a DAILY practice, not just a Sunday practice.
I will keep KoRn and fans in my prayers. There is a fine line that's easy to cross, the line between doing God's work for our own benefit and doing God's work, period. Let this not be a judgement but rather a word of caution to Head.. You are in dangerous waters bro, if you let go of God for even a moment, you could drown.
Though most of KoRn's lyrics & emotions are negative & resentful of others, it is encouraging how much hardship each band member has overcome including turning to physically sober lives. In the case of Head & Fieldy, spiritually sober lives too. The vulgar lyrics & negative emotions are probably only a part of their signature style now. It would make their band's career very awkward to suddenly starting releasing often positive material & scrapping their negative material since there is too much of it. They would be like Love And Death part 2, which I wouldn't mind, but I'm sure it wouldn't survive such an anti-Christian era that we are currently living in.

I love to see the testimonies of these two guys. I grew up listening to Korn and I’m a born again Christian now myself. These men are truly commendable for what they’re doing.

Korn is doing what should be done by Christian 's, living by example. They aren't hiding their faith or judging anyone. They are "trustworthy " believers which is desperately needed now. So many Christians,may not say it, but begin judging immediately, or try to convert people quickly. God is ready when we are ready. Some need to hit the bottom repeatedly before trusting God's Door, Korn understands this. We are supposed to LOVE EVERYONE for who they ARE, not who we know they can be. That is up to them. Korn crazy lyrics have helped me through a lot. Eminem's crazy songs kept me from hurting others. Marilyn Manson's "Beautiful People " is listened to before I go to church! It helps me to remember to love hipacrites, probably messed up way, but it's a great song to make you smile and love while supposed leaders are promoting horrible ideas, helps you pray for them, confront the situation and get that conversation started , and never go back unless it's to discuss/change the issues.

There are a lot of us metal guys out here that are 100% sold out Christians - more than just Fieldy & Brian. And proud of it.
I'm not religious, I refuse to be religious, I do believe in a higher power through but when it comes down to it these guys are Korn and I'm so glad Welch came back and still with the band. He and Davis are so different on their religious views but their ability to make the music is just phenomenal.
Mainstream folks will never get it, don't bother explaining yourselves anymore! It's pretty clear that we are IN the world but definitely NOT of it. I still get shocked looks from Christians when I tell them that I'm still a Metalhead at heart and don't see myself ever departing from it. I choose my bands carefully and definitely do not dig those who outright blaspheme the Lord. Just for the record, my identity is IN CHRIST first and foremost and I am most comfortable among this side of the music scene no matter how bad it looks to Christians. I don't live for their approval and neither should Head and Fieldy.

Hey lovely people, its good to know that we are not alone in feeling this way! I don't think the body of Christ needs any more division among ourselves as thats just what the devil wants. Unfortunately, this will probably go on until Jesus returns to put an end to all this. Music is one of the strongest forms of expression and easily one of the greatest gifts, that Lucifer had. I have to admit that in the music scene, its so easy to fall and talk and behave like the stereotypical folks of this genre. Disclaimer: head banging/stage diving/moshing is not one of them! I still do, you should watch me, Hahaha!
I encourage you all to take heed of Jesus's last and probably most important commandment; to love one another as HE has loved us. (I don't see any conditions tied to that verse and its been repeated so many times in the bible)

Some bands do worship Satan and I mostly dont listen to them. "If you're a good parent then you won't send your kids to go and listen to the lyrics that you're singing". Music is so powerful. If what Brian's doing is 100% then the Holy Spirit would also be inspiring him as per what is being sung and it would touch people with God's presence. If it's not the Holy SPirit then what spirits are really behind those lyrics and why wouldn't you want your kids listening to it if it's of God? I think it's great that they do witness after the show etc and God is moving. I can't see the justification though for engaging in music in front of thousands inspiring thousands that is totally not anointed. Of course we pray for Brian and co.

I absolutely agree. in 1st John it says darkness doesn't mix with light and this is a mixture of light and darkness and there is no justification to back up what Freddy and Brian are doing. singing violent and demonic lyrics and then saying they love Jesus is very contradicting to the word of God

Evidently all of the so called Christians commenting here need to read Matthew 11:19 "The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ Yet wisdom is justified by her deeds.”

Jesus was harshest on the "Religious" people of the day, the Pharisee's and Sadducee's that constantly judged the outer appearance and works of man but inside they were full of dead mans bones and Matthew 23:27 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which look beautiful on the outside but on the inside are full of the bones of the dead and everything unclean."
Before you judge the extent that God will go to reach into the deepest pit to save the lost, have you really come to realize the depths of depravity that God has reached down into to save your soul? Where is your broken heart weeping for the lost? Jesus said that any kingdom divided against itself cannot stand. How could these guys that openly preach the gospel and give their testimony of how God apprehended them be being supposedly used by the devil?

This is just awesome! God uses his Children that are saved to get to his other children that are not. Anyone can whip out a scripture and throw it at the lads because they are back in the band but a real christian would understand that God is using them for a purpose and if it means going back to the band then thats it! - God sees the heart, and no man can ever stand between God and these awesome Son's of the King purpose. Respect that and just bless them we need more brothers like these two who keep it real! - Blessings xx

Good for them going back. Obedience is always blessed, it is always the right thing to do. Seldom does it make sense up front, but in hind sight, which is always 20/20, it will. Even if going back is a "mistake", let's say they missed it, simply miss understood, it's okay, in Christ we have the freedom to fail. Without Him we've already failed, with no hope, but in Christ... Rom 8:28. These guys love the Lord and are more mature in their faith than most people I know and the people who are critical of their calling. God bless them, their "tribe", and you. God bless you, he loves you and is for you and has a plan for your life as well. Go for it!

TY Just because someone is a Christian, doesn't mean they are perfect. Head & Fieldy have realized something about their lives that made them miserable. Drugs, alcohol, abuse. Not the music. The testimony of their struggles has helped others realize we are not alone.I grew up with the idea that everything had to be about God. I get it. but we don't have to strive to be perfect.God knows that. it's impossible. I am a Christian, and I still love my favorite bands, lyrics and all. Don't condemn them Gary Wilson because they are in a metal band, they have touched many souls that have not even realized that looking to Him is OK
Each one of us is a work in progress. If you are willing to be used by the Lord, He will use you. I'm not going to judge someone for where they are being called to be used. How could I? How dare I judge someone at all? God looks at the heart. Are any of us without sin? Anytime I have heard Brian and Fieldy speak, the Love of Christ is flowing out of them. I'm thankful that the Lord is working in their lives. THINK ABOUT IT...could the Lord use any of us in the place He is using them? The relationships, trust, and respect they have built with their own band members as well as other bands has opened the door for the love of Christ to be shared with those people. Those people who would respectfully listen to Brian and Fieldy probably wouldn't listen to the Gospel from any of the rest of us. Let us love one another and pray for one another.
If I "sin", in order to be in the crowd to tell others about God's love... what does that make me? a martyr? Maybe... but God's decision to judge me would still remain. Just some food for thought.

Then I guess all is well... with the exception of the 'possibility' that by supporting the band through music, he 'might' also be supporting the message which to me seems very possible. This is the part I cannot confirm and will try to stay away from because I cannot confirm nor deny it.

Ok, I am mainstream and would never listen to Korn but as a Christian I totally get that metalheads are His people. I keep pleading with the Lord to let me see His people with His eyes and not mine. I do not doubt God and if He wants these two men in the band with His people (saved or unsaved) then they have been obedient. Rock on and let the Holy Spirt work!

The problem I had with "Christians" when I was growing up was the fact they would judge or "rebuke" you the moment you either didn't agree with their doctrine or you were associating with nonbelievers. Of course I would associate with nonbelievers and I would tell them that I am a Christian but I'm not religious, and they would listen and would agree with me as to why I'm not religious. It was because of the churches. Man-made rules that claimed came from God, or the fact that they'd pressure you to start giving money to the church after being a member. It was so disgusting how they would use the money too, and it definitely was not for the church or to reach out to the homeless either.
I started to question God, but He reassured me to continue to reach out to those who need to be reached out and that the "church of today" was not the way to do it. Head and Fieldy are great examples of being what God needs them to be to reach out to those who need to be saved.
Having a relationship with Jesus Christ is exactly that, a relationship. Not a religion. Religion and religious people make up their own rules. I still go to church for the sake of my family and friends if they want to go, but I no longer involve myself with any ministry of any kind as I used to do in my youth. :)
Im a Catholic who practices his faith on full display, I love God and Christ and The Holy Spirit, and it has nothing to do If you like certain particular style of music. Kor n is a great band, and now I admire them, and respect them a lot more for what they do!

Hey mate I hope you figure out your path with God. I used to listen to a lot of metal before becoming a Christian and I had a massive break from 'dark' music for years.. I can still go back and listen to certain stuff like if I"m listening to how they played certain guitar bits or amazing vocal lines.. Sounds like your heart is in the right place and you want to follow the Lord. Prov 13:22 says if we walk with the wise we'll become wise but a companion of fools suffers harm. Just make sure you've got a lot of good influences. like the Bible, good Christian lyrics, good sermons.. then if you listen to the odd bit of rubbish in the subculture you're in, it's probably not going to do you much harm? I can relate to what Brian W is saying that these rough people are his people, this is where he comes from, and unless God came into that scene and loved people like them, then he wouldn't have been rescued either! these people need salvation from death and Brian is there for them. so he is in the world but not of the world? atleast that's the idea, I don't listen to Korn and don't really know the lyrics or don't know BW personally. but he seems awesom and seems like God has His hand on his life :) The story of the woman at the well speaks powerfully to me. the woman met Jesus and had her whole life changed, she then wanted to go back to her home town and help people. her home town knew her mistakes and knew what she used to be like and they also knew that something amazing had happened to help her.. that was part of what validates her story and maybe it's the same for people like BW and Feildsy.

To the people that says that Korn is satanic: can you tell me a single song by them with a satanic message? There is not even one,"Hypocrites" is a song about religion but in a critic way of fanatics. I'm Christian and love Korn,they talk about real things in a therapeutic way,they help people by singing songs that include the feeling of being an outsider,a person with struggles, it's more useful and positive than a lot of "radio-friendly" music that talks about drugs and money. I desperately need some advice guys. I was saved and born again in 2014 and after I did I gave up my 15 year career of singing for a classic metal band . what k want to know is would It be wrong for me to go back to the band or will I be going against Gods will. I need tje finances that it provides for my family but not at the expense of selling my soul? I dont want to grieve the spirit and would much rather be playing music for God however He has. Yet to open that. Door for me. What do I do?

I think if you are getting good influences constantly then associating with non believers can't hurt too much unless you feel they are influencing you in a bad way. or if you aren't getting enough good influences like sermons, Bible, Christian lyrics. I think it's ok to have a musician trade and work in venues for money but if it's a negative place like a strip joint or heaps of gambling then no. the Scriptures about eating meat sacrifieced to idols could apply- Paul says that God is over all and you are free to eat whatever is put before you. but if weaker believers are offended and you cause them to stumble by eating something 'unclean' then you shouldn't eat it if your conscience is telling you not to do it or if you are causeing someone to stumble... anything not done in faith is sin. so if you feel guilty then you shouldn't. but you should search the Bible and make sure you don't feel guilty because of false religion because I think you are free to enjoy fellowship and music of all kinds of people and cultures. but if they're singing unGodly lyrics you should not sing those songs in my opinion. there's no clear answer because you have to look at a lot of different sides to the issues and keep in step with the Spirit

I find that bands that release in your face, aggressive, violent lyrics , are not to be perceived or JUDGED by other Christian’s. I can relate to bands like Korn, 40 below summer, HIM, slipknot, Black Sabbath, etc. because they all have something human beings can most likely relate too. It’s just inevitable that listeners will more than likely have some sort of connection to that. I still listen to these bands, and I’ve been a Christian since 2016. When you are saved, you are still no different then the next man. You just have a relationship with god. When the time comes to share the gospel, you’ll know who you can reach out too and help. It’s not about being with other Christian’s, it’s about being with everybody. I still struggle with a multitude of sin. But sanctification is a marathon, and god works in mysterious ways. It’s life.. Those are my thoughts on this. If Christian’s are offended by this, then that’s a real shame. Just my opinion.

I can support the fact that they want to reach people. Paul sat and ate with the gentiles and had to defend himself to Peter and explain that he sat and ate with them to reach them but he didn't partake in their sin. If Korn decides they wanna reach people with their music, great. But if they entering back into the world of sin to mingle with those who are in sin and partake with them, then they are wrong. Jesus said if you are partakers of the world then you you are against the father. Ephesians 5:11 says -and have no fellowship with the unfruitfull works of darkness, but rather reprove them(correct them). 1 John 2:15 love not the world neither the things that are in the world, for if a man love the world, the love of the father is not him. And there other verses that say not to partake in the things of the world and that light has no place with darkness. But I quoted those verses to say this. You have to go into the world to reach people, the same as Jesus did. But if you partake in the things of the world or sinful things because you claim it's to reach someone, then it's wrong. I'm not sure what they mean when they say they hang out with them, but if they only share gospel with them then there isn't anything wrong, if they are partaking in foul language, nasty behavior or whatever to fit in, then they are way off track. That's not being the salt of of the Earth or the light of the world. Hopefully they are on the right track with third mission and not being led astray.

Look at Alice Cooper the man is a devout Christian and still going out on stage in his 70s and bloodied up and choppin heads an shit. Listening to this music doesn't make us evil, if anything some people that have that in them it releases it in a good way . its personally helped me pull out of some dark places .
Korn offers a safe space for the truly damaged of the world. A place to deal with their personal demons head on instead of suppressing them to consume their souls from the inside out. Through expression of the music we learn we can survive anything by owning our scars instead of letting them own us. You may feel something divine in your way but when thousands of rockers get together to share their love of music the energy is existential. Existence has been pretty rough on many of us. Korn brings comfort by demonstrating we are not alone in our struggle to find peace within ourselves in the face of these hardships.

I agree! You can't walk with God and act like that. Would Jesus be ok with the language??? ABSOLUTELY not. Justifying only takes us away from the fullness of God.
@@righteousredneck777 Jesus said the term a dumb donkey who cannot speak, the word used means jackass (in Greek) if you aren't aware. and the bible uses the word bastard and whore, jesus also calls a woman a dog. I think it might be acceptable, Jesus also told the disciples to show the bottoms of their sandals to people (which is an obscene gesture in the jewish culture) who rejected the scripture.
