If there is a deity out there somewhere, then maybe their moral code is different from our own. If that is true, the Bible is a book of multiple conflicting ideas. The horrors I have witness in my short life, the horrors of recorded history and the horrors in history which have gone unrecorded, are unjust and can't be justified. That's why I say "maybe their moral code is different from our own"
