Squad and Arma are the best place to experiment with chopper drift-landings. Come in at crazy speed, drift right into place, and touch down rapidly. If you do it right the enemy has almost no time to shoot you down.
@@wkamhengkit2644 It did take some getting used to, but the physics are similar enough imo that after a few hours I was able to pilot pretty well. I don't think I'll ever be as good as in arma, just because third person is such a boost to your ability.
That's the difference between the American helicopter pilots and the Afghani pilots we tried to train: keeping a spare rotor blade in your kit just in case repair is needed.
More like the spare rotor blades got sold on the black market by the afghan units' commander, while half the pilots got assassinated by Taliban hitsquads while off base.

@@coolguywithahat0127 Not really, they don't border any US Middle Eastern allies. They would attack Europe, the Middle East has nothing for Russia, they already have oil. Russia wouldn't sacrifice the element of surprise by grinding themselves in deserts, that would just allow NATO to build up like crazy and get tons of new allies, which is bad given that Russia would already lose a war with the current NATO. I don't see how they can win, but invading the Middle East seems like one of the best ways to lose.

Ok for one, let's just assume that Russia signs a pact with China after China invades Taiwan, similar to a Italy-Germany situation like in WW2. With Russia invading Europe, NATO would almost certainly respond, and Turkey is a member of NATO. To sure up more allies for support and to prevent Turkey from invading Russia through the Caucuses, Russia and China would attempt to coerce Iran, Iraq, and Syria into some sort of military agreement (again like how Germany coerced Hungary, Romania, and Bulgaria into the Axis during WW2, also Russia is already allied to Syria anyway). So now that we have a war with Russia, Turkey, and a bunch of other states in the Middle East as a theater of this hypothetical WW3, I do not see why Canada would not send at least some forces there to fight on that front (after all with no actual borders with the nation's you're at war with, might as well send forces to all fronts).
