I love Issara. Personally, I don't care much for the fougere perfumes, mainly because to my nose they smell quite vintage...like my grandfather ( I am a 36 yo woman)... and I prefer a more new aproach when it comes to perfumes. However, Issara with its hay note blew my mind. It is sooo smooth, has a calming effect like no other, is grounding. If I had to choose only 1 pergume for the rest of my life, it would be Issara exactly because it is do natural smelling and balance of notes. I wanted to like Erwan as well, since I love green perfumes...still it is not a green type of perfume that I love. My favourite of green notes are: cassis leaves, violet leaf, fig leaf, tomato leaf, basil. I like your channel a lot.
Oh! Very Nice! I own the muguet one & like it very very much! I basically use it to spray madly (when I want to wear a muguet fragrance but don’t want to wear my precious vintage Diorissimo), this along with the JCE Muguet Porcrlain (I think it’s called) are quite lovely! The sample set from Dusita is one of my favorite gifts!
I agree about Le Pavillon D’or. I love that fragrance and I actually bought it directly in Paris at Dusita Salon and met up with Pissara Umavijani, who is delightful. I knew you would like Montri. I love that one as well.
On my skin, Erawan leans less dry smoke and more fresh meadow w/ a hint of vanilla. I honestly think a lot of these are very much changed by the person wearing them’s skin chemistry. I’m so glad you enjoyed exploring these scents, and that you found them to be interesting (for the most part) and well made!
Duck ,have you smelled Marc Jacobs Bang? One of the most interesting designers I have ever smelled. It's discontinued and people are asking insane princes online. But it's a ballsy move for a designer to make something like this. I'm wondering what your thoughts are
Oudh Infini took me a few trials to get around it. I'd say you want to wait an hour when it gets more musky / rosy and palatable, and when the civet oud combo recedes. First hour is tough yeah
@@RichMitchI was gonna ask you whether you prefer Montri over Oud Infini, but looks like you indeed do! I thought you were a big fan of pungent unapologetic Oud and animalic notes. A bit surprised you went for the cleaner wearable version this time 😊
For some reason I own a full bottle of Oudh Infini. I do not ever wear it outside as to my nose it smells of human excrements (as opposed to something like Dior Leather Oud that smells like horse manure). I must say however that a few women, including my own old mum, complimented me and said they didn’t get any funkiness from it! I remember during an old live Eugene said he didn’t get that either, but that’s Eugene so… I need to give Montri a try.
I have two from Dusita and as an Oud Enthusiast, you can safely guess that I own Oud Infini, but my favorite from the house is the same as Rich - Montri - a gorgeously warm and handsomely curious creation
I really couldn't take my nose off Oudh Infini for a while - it was just so awful (like a cow turned inside-out) I had to wear it for several days in a row. I eventually noticed it was starting to make me physically nauseous so I opted not to get a bottle, but fascinating stuff...
I feel that way about some perfumes. Like something so awful you can't turn away. Like those videos of people having boils lanced on UA-cam... Until you sicken yourself lol
Glad you didn't buy Moonlight in Chiangmai, which to me is a citrusy Oud for Greatness 🤢 Have not tried Montri or La Rhapsodie Noire but I added Le Pavillon d'Or to my whishlist 💚

Thank you very much, I appreciate it. I think the whole house has quality but most aren't to my taste!
Very nice Dusita series and a very good video, and I did believe you would really like Montri. Enjoy it. Thank you for this video Rich!
Thank you Phyllis

It's a great idea for a gift. I wonder who I will pass my set on to.
I fear muguet, it has that shitty aspect on me
@@RichMitch Yeah… it’s indolic! Great gift for a female friend, I’d hazard 😀

I really do!
A great series, thanks for sharing your thoughts
Cheers man
The UNBOXING…. excellent, watched this with me mum.

Absolutely I did, well worth investigating and I enjoyed the experience. I think you're right regarding the skin chemistry, it's a very personal thing
I would love to try these but don’t know a store around to try them
You can order the sample set on the website

I have but I can't remember it, I used to have for men and loved it. Creamy fig
Hey Rich! I’m about to sell my Oud Palao and replace it with Montri too! Based on your and Rams reviews

Yeah you're right about the human element of Oudh Infini, I couldn't wear it. Maybe it smells totally different in the air than up close.

Montri! Good call Rich.
Lovely stuff

I do not know but agree with you that Pissara has the ideas but may commission someone else to actually create the fragrances.
Ditto
