    Mini Shells, the most adorable of ammo.

    I've had a lot of issues with feeding and consistency with these otherwise these would be soooo cool! Great video bud!

      The adapter for the mossbergs makes they feed 100% no problem

      All you gotta do is run a mossberg with an OpSol Adapter and they run flawless

    I wonder if they use faster burning target powders/data in these types of loads to lessen recoil. I've never shot any factory short shells, but I have heard they are less recoil.

    The true ball slugs don't break into pieces like the standard Foster slug does on impact. The ball keeps the slug from coming apart. It stays in one piece and penetrates very deep. It is a vastly superior slug for hunting larger game.

      We’ve recovered several that have broken apart along with the ball shattering

      No no no, not shattering, busting, their balls get busted...
      You're welcome

      The ball has nothing to do with keeping the slug together. It’s there to help even the pressure on the slug upon firing, like he said in the video…

    For the upcoming dove season cpuld you do a bird load series? 9v8v7 shot. Also, federal upland steel #6 breakdown would be legit

    Ok you've probably answered this before, but im looking into buckshot and chokes, and i wanted to know what buckshot loads i should be looking for for distance hunting as well as chokes

    • @theshotgunscientists
      @theshotgunscientists  7 місяців тому +1

      I’m assuming 12 gauge. For that answer you’ll have to watch our buckshot patterning videos and decide what you like best. We get best results with 3.5” using a kicks .680 GT with tps wad and buckshot .31 cal and smaller.

      @theshotgunscientists sounds good, I'll be doing research for it. And yeah it's 12* guage. Old reliable

    For years I've been seeing stuff about the maverick 88 shotguns. So I got one with the pistol grip only. There's one thing about it I hate no one else seems to have issue with. The release, I absolutely hate it. Maybe I'm not used to it yet but I really don't like it at all. What do you guys think?

      @@veteranironoutdoors8320 I probably need to get used to it. I'm spoiled with autoloaders lol. I like everything else especially the lifter system. And ease of loading.

      We literally just filmed the range video on these and it’ll be out tomorrow. This is a breakdown video, clearly stated in the title. We cannot put them together because it’ll get the video demonetized. There are plenty of other people who already have range videos on these if you’re in that big of a hurry.
