For as long as Space Mom breaths Warframe will stay amazing EDIT: Tbh I think DE sucked up so many talented and well meaning folk that DE & Warframe have insane staying power.
Not far off, DE had a lot of talented vet game devs when they started warframe, its part of why they pulled off the hail mary that is warframe then picked up more talent along the way
Rebecca and Yoshi P are prime examples why it’s a very good idea to have passionate game developers as part of your leadership instead of another suit and suit kisser.
@@J-manli Pretty sure Rebb is inspired by Yoshi P even to adopt the paraphrase "if you're burnt out of the game, that's fine, take a break, play other games and when youre ready to come back to new content, feel free to come back".

@ no doubt about it! Getting Reb to play and have a casual convo will def be in Cross’ review of warframe video that I have no doubt will come out when he reaches “endgame” lol
@ as much as I want to glaze warframe hard, the reality is destiny has always had the limelight while warframe was slowly growing in the background. So when I say “their competition” im acknowledging that Cross is a destiny creator first, I feel warframe was more like “f it, D2 is slowing down, lets finally see what this is about” and has inevitably become apart of our cult-like community 😂👍 i say that with love ofc, I love being apart of the WF community!
I’m new to warframe and I just thought that Rebecca was only the director of Warframe but now I learned that she voice acted lotus as well. Damn, I understand what the video title means now.
Absolutely amazing having her be apart of Cross's stream and really cool for Cross and Luke to get to play with Rebecca (Lotus)! Hopefully they get another chance to do this again.
That was cool. Cross should absolutely go to Tenno Con as Shaw Han; he would be freaking royalty. A person that has a in game model of themselves showing up to any gamer convention is always a hit. And it's not like Warframe fans hate Destiny, so Shaw Han popping over to say hi to Arthur and The Lotus would be a peak experience for anyone attending!
One day, I ran into Reb farming relics o the Xini map back before it got a revamp. Absolutely loved the fact that the devs play the game they're working on and they have their own things they're working on when they do play. Rebecca knows how players feel because she also is a player. And that's one of those Warframe memories I'll never forget.
I agree. Cross is a great content creator. I just hope the underlying elitist tendencies cross has don't start surfacing in the Warframe community because we definitely don't tolerate it here.
i said this before and i will say it again, she is probably one of the main reasons why the game isnt dead. she really brought alot of the players point of view to the game, even before raising to head honcho. she earned the players respect and love.
@great_based_one I'm aware, I have a invincible build that puts out crazy damage with him. People's complaints with chroma is a) he's not what he used to be and b) his kit dosent really feel useful. His 1st and 4th ability are pretty much useless and I never use them. I would love it if DE reworked his 1st and 4th.

Warframe really is just a bunch of friends playing a game together and having a good time. It’s not a money grabber like other similar games. It’s been 12 years and still going strong, the community is amazing, the game is amazing, the devs are amazing. Even if it bores you sometimes because of the repetition, the game has so many things you can do that you can just do something totally different! Jesus this is night and day to bungie’s approach in recent years. Reminds me a little of Deej and Blackburn. What a lovely approach to engage w your customers and fans
Bungie has become so arrogant and full of themselves.. I’m glad they’re going downhill
For as long as Space Mom breaths Warframe will stay amazing
EDIT: Tbh I think DE sucked up so many talented and well meaning folk that DE & Warframe have insane staying power.
Not far off, DE had a lot of talented vet game devs when they started warframe, its part of why they pulled off the hail mary that is warframe then picked up more talent along the way
I am ashamed that I guessed Reb's gacha game correctly
As a Love and Deepspace enjoyer, it just made me love Reb more.
And for my money, she's a Sylus girlie. I can smell others of my kind.
Truly a “I know what you are” moment lol
@@dmsviola1 cue "This is who you are" plays in the bg kek
Rebecca naming her companion Emet-Selch is so based.
"remember us..."
Lahee!
Rebecca and Yoshi P are prime examples why it’s a very good idea to have passionate game developers as part of your leadership instead of another suit and suit kisser.
She has a large portrait of him, She posted a picture of it on her twitter awhile ago.
@@J-manli Pretty sure Rebb is inspired by Yoshi P even to adopt the paraphrase "if you're burnt out of the game, that's fine, take a break, play other games and when youre ready to come back to new content, feel free to come back".
Reb in hoody and thos stupid in ear head phones is a mood
my face was a constant smile for 40min straight.
I dont want to be that guy, buuuuut this is another reason why DE is FAR superior as a dev team in terms of community interaction. They will even play/ interact with a content creator of their competition. Truly amazing
This is the kind of community interaction that games like this deserve.
@ no doubt about it! Getting Reb to play and have a casual convo will def be in Cross’ review of warframe video that I have no doubt will come out when he reaches “endgame” lol
@@SirRampage24No
what competition? there's no competition, Warframe takes all the cake
3:20 rebecca hitting this actually caught me off guard 😭
Read my mind as she said it I was thinking it 😂😂
Bungie would never do an interview like this
I love DE. The whole dev team is one of a kind. Actual international treasures.
This isn't an interview, it's just some new fast friends having fun, I love it! They both jive with each other so well
Rebecca: Give me the controller, or else!
Me: Whats does the "or else" option entail?
i see i wasn’t the only one thinking this lmao
I was gonna make the joke about not minding Reb taking my controller, but I respect her too much to do such a thing
@@nbassasin8092 the funny part is she would absolutely say that herself.
A broken war, up the as...
@@PlaguedByEden spoiler‼️⬇️
or else she’ll make the lotus go bye-bye for another 6 IRL years :(
That was cool.
Warframe fans hate Destiny since the alpha
You joking? I’ve been a BIG target of the Warframe community because I played Destiny!🤣
It’s a large community of people. Some of them hate d2 some don’t, but most people would be happy to see cross there either way I’m sure.
I've been playing both for years and I think many of the warframe community are also destiny players.
Just casually chillin with the director of Warframe - what other game does stuff like this
The casual grey hoodie Reb fit is such a spacemom thing to wear
One day, I ran into Reb farming relics o the Xini map back before it got a revamp. Absolutely loved the fact that the devs play the game they're working on and they have their own things they're working on when they do play. Rebecca knows how players feel because she also is a player. And that's one of those Warframe memories I'll never forget.
This is awesome to see. I love seeing a youtuber i like, intergrate so well into a community. This is awesome. Keep it up, Tenno!!
I agree. Cross is a great content creator. I just hope the underlying elitist tendencies cross has don't start surfacing in the Warframe community because we definitely don't tolerate it here.
@@2ELI7EI have never seen cross display any elitist tendencies lol.
i said this before and i will say it again, she is probably one of the main reasons why the game isnt dead. she really brought alot of the players point of view to the game, even before raising to head honcho.
she earned the players respect and love.
One of my friends works at DE!
Love everyone there, canadian pride 💪🏾
Tell him to buff limbo
@@Syly56 that ain't gon happen bruh. As a ex-chroma main, trust me I feel your pain
@@JGburneraccount how about buff valkyr 🙏🙏🙏
@@JGburneraccount Chroma is pretty good, actually, after the rework. He can do some pretty respectable damage while staying borderline invincible

Editor , you deserve a raise bro
I was hoping someone else said this 😂😂
Yess 😂
Rebecca fangirling is so adorable.
She’s straight up hilarious 😭 it was also fun to see her get feedback on alot of the quest. Im especially excited to see the continuation of stalker’s story, props to Rebecca for doing the collab with you 💪
Reb's Kavat being named Emet-Selch is 3000% based. We love our sad cat man.
Holy Luke got roasted LOL.
Man this vibe is awesome. Thanks for the collab guys!
Rebs Eva-01 frame is amazing
The longer I watched the video the more I fell for Rebecca. So adorable!😊
"Yeah, she's not exactly sending her best when you go out I guess."
I love Reb.
I love Reb so much, she is the best creative director we could ask for. It's genuinely so incredible how in touch with the community she is, like, she's just hanging out on stream, playing the game, and talking about a dating sim. Incredible.
god i remember being 15-16 years old when i first started watching the devstreams i think around 2012-2013, its so wild that here we are many years later and this game is still her baby
I’ve waited so long for this game to get this sort of attention. Been loving the warframe journey.
Brooo whaaat. This is amazing. You only been playing 3 months or so and getting interviewed. Prolly one of the fastest progression. You’re a beast at the grind.
Love this editing style threwout the video! Definitely enjoyable to see all perspectives
Haven’t been too much into Cross’ content over the years. Was hesitant to even watch his Warframe content, but I did it anyway.
He nailed this one. Covering both Destiny and Warframe is probs one of the best things he’s done.
❤️
He's diversified really well.
I adore Reb. Truly as a lead she is one in a million alongside the folks at Larian and Supergiant. Just love what they do and love the people who are into it, and she got so excited for Cross to go to Tennocon
I didn't know how much I needed this video, aztecross's warframe content has been my favorite thing to watch these past few days and ever since I watched my first devstream, I've loved DE and their people, this has been great
I got into Warframe the same time that Fortuna was released. I can't watch the intro trailer AT ALL without tearing up. Every time...Tears.
Rebecca is awsome, she gave me 70 plat to complete an skin that i wanted in a stream, warframe have some awsome devs its amazing
Difference between devs who care vs slop fed to us that we are expected to enjoy. One blooming with life and a future, the other questioning why it's alive. It's sad that some people can't fathom this reality 😂😂😂
Warframe is mid deal with it loser
Rebecca, Steve & all the lovely people at DE breathe so much life not only into this game, but its community too. I love them all so much for creating such a memorable experience for so many players that really can't be topped. TY DE
The fact that she a high member of the team behind the game is playing with people in the game is never short of amazing. Hope they never change.❤
This interview is like a fever dream. Cross and Reb vibing like the best of buds is so awesome and funny.
Bungie: No, we're losing him...
Does bungie even know
This game and it’s developers are among the best in the industry. Every single studio should strive to be like DE and Warframe. Amazing.
No
@lazyvoid7107 would you care to elaborate or is this one of those brainless responses because you're just a hater
@ Yes, it's GOOD business. They care, they treat their player base and community with respect and love. They PAY community members who design skins that get put into the game. Nothing but good comes from this game and it's community so please tell me where them sponsoring cross is anywhere remotely bad? It's not a stunt either, the history of the game and the company speaks for itself but you haven't looked into that have you, clearly not. I'm not mad at you, just do your research before commenting something stupid bro.
@@lazyvoid7107 what other devs have you seen join players or streamers smart business move or not. You only make these comments if you haven't been in the game long enough to see that they actually care more than your average.
@@SH4NMU They used to not treat their community like that until they lock in but anyway they're not next coming of Jesus.
We love real life space mom
Warframe really is just a bunch of friends playing a game together and having a good time. It’s not a money grabber like other similar games. It’s been 12 years and still going strong, the community is amazing, the game is amazing, the devs are amazing. Even if it bores you sometimes because of the repetition, the game has so many things you can do that you can just do something totally different! Playing Warframe could be 1-hour survival again lvl150 enemies or 1-hour fishing in the Plains of Eidolon, you cannot find that experience in any other game. ❤
@@8__mario 1hr survival and only lvl 150 enemies? Thats base SP 😂😅 on a more serious note, I find myself fishing a lot. It’s the part of the game where it feels you can relax and occasionally destroy a grineer squad for interrupting quiet time. Fishing is very underrated IMO. But you’re completely right, DE has showcased so much love and care for their game, that effect has gotten trickled down to the community!
I came across this game on Facebook years ago, fell in love with it because space ninja fantasy Odessy looter shooter everthing i loved as a kid. Now here I am years later watching aztec on his first journey and playing with the Devs love this game it's community and developers 🤝
For grinding endo, I did highest 1999 place bounties, they mostly give endos and I got 70k without noticing. Crazy how that works
Yep, you get just under the amount of endo you’d get SPECIFICALLY farming it. Much better. I wish I actually needed endo lol
@@kennethfocarino7075 welp then this is good news cause I REALLY need to rank up my Primed mods, especially Pressure Point since I can't do shit with it atm
I either do rail jack for credits as well because 50 per mission complete or those bounties on steel path
I think you get 4 - 7k endo per run for the reward
And its super easy
This was so much fun to watch! I've enjoyed your Warframe journey so far, but this gaming session was special. The love DE has for it's game, community, and players is palpable when hearing Rebecca talk about it.
I've had a lot of fun watching Cross get into Warframe. Rebecca is great. So much fun to have a stream with both together hanging out
damn it, 1 minute in and you got me choking up on talking about THE quest that had me chasing onion cutting ninjas... aghh jade shadows hit really well... glad to hear that there might be more
Really enjoyed this video. Its great to see another's play through and vicariously relive the moments through their interactions. But to see a lead director be so passionate and involved is just on another league.
This community is by far one of the best.
Rest in piece First Person Frame 2025. Never seen but will be missed.
now cyte-09 cant 360 no scope
@@AmieW maybe you can if you crank the sensitivity at max? Idk I'm just spitballing ideas, I'm pretty sure third person shooters would be able to pull it off, maybe? 🤷🏾♂️
The biggest issue with making Cyte-09/Quincy first-person was that all of the weapon models would need redone for working in that perspective. He's game-breakingly awesome without it so it's no big loss.
its amazing that the game had campains out 6 years ago and you can still play them its mind blowing
14:59 LMAOOOO that little fade in
3:14 Imagine having a lead dev like Rebecca roast you like that. I love these devs.
Reb is truly such a gem in the gaming world. Brings so much to the table that I would love to see more of from other studios. Very fun stream!
I watched this whole stream, it was amazing, but now to get Rebecca and Luke's cameras side too, excellent work. This was such fun stream.
DE devs are what all devs should be. They all play their game and actually understand it at a competent level. They listen to their community, don't force micro transactions, indulge in their memes, deliver phenomenal free content and still turn a tidy profit. Truly inspirational shit and the direction I wished more companies could and would take their games. It's also undeniable proof that live service f2p can and do work in the long term when the corporate greed is toned down.
@@qwertyg3666 ahh yes you used the key phrase “corporate greed”. Unfortunately, most american-based dev teams/publishers are centered around corporate greed. But luckily DE isnt shackled by corporate america like other looter shooters that are blinded by greed **cough cough bungie**
This is an incredibly helpful and well edited interview, kudos.
very cool interview, and Rebecca also was so nice, it's great to have a glimpse on how the dev mind works
This is incredible to see from a game director, to be so involved in both the game and community, Cross has been doing destiny how long, how many times have the directors of bungie hoped on to grind.
Rebecca is just an amazing person ❤ a dev that you can actually just chill with and relate to and has genuine passion about their game.
Love it that she chose Nova prime, Been my main since i built her in 2015.
Shaw Han on tenocon will be legendary
It’s so cool to see senior leadership playing their own game at a high level and clearly familiar with the landscape. Warframe hasn’t even been cross’s thing for a long time and already there’s a level of longtime familiarity in this.
U just know how great DE is just because cross is been playing for like two month and here we have an interview with one of the most important Warframe heads, Bungie would never do this, involve with it's community like this, huge difference
I love how many of us have migrated over and fallen in love with this game.
Tenno welcome all migrants, come on in, the water's fine.

Been watching your warframe journey quietly while grinding on warframe myself. I've played for years but knowing you were playing got me pumped for the game and I started grinding again when you started. It's insane that you've gotten this far, done so much, AND met Reb like wtf. Thats nuts. I'm loving all of this WF content even if its mindless grinding.
I love that Rebecca is straight up just a gamer lmao
