Because I'm from a different area, you automatically want to kill me? That's some dumb shit.
No its because the areas are at war ..
Tell that to Israel & Palestine
You wouldn’t understand
I understand. Its strait up dumbshyt. One reason i let it go bc of that element. Im from a different state and kats ready to come for me just bc i rapped. Dont know the dudes, never disrespected them guys@@dashawnreid3195
@@dashawnreid3195Naw he understand. We’ve just been conditioned to some useless shit. Literally no one prospers from it. Back in the days they protected the turf from other gangs (races) from coming over and polluting their neighborhoods. Now you can’t even go to LA with a hat on or it it can be deadly. Tell me that shit isn’t childish? More or less being black.

All big cities is Dangerous for a Rapper. Not just Los Angeles
@ronbrooks6547 It's always us vs. us regardless of the city. The bigger the city, the bigger the Black on Black crime. That's what's sad.
Nah I’m from Philly we embrace rappers yea some have gotten robbed but it’s not our thing we got too many issues at home
Bullsh*t.
All cities no like LA our gang movement different also it’s the city of the industry so
Nah just LA all them other cities are fans and weak and druel over rapper's.... we tax rapper's over here.

Still playing many eiht albums in the playlist.
If A-Wax says it's dangerous, it's damn dangerous
Depends where you go in LA, if you see a Roscoe’s or a Fat Burger around just leave ASAP 😂
Or a Popeyes
Some Popeyes and Roscoe be in relative safe places
The state of California nothing to play with
Killah kali for real better know the rules
Be quiet. Everybody better just leave when they see any of your Latinos around as you have ruined Los Angeles.
Westside shenanigans a bunch of escalated nonsense that has taken away talent and opportunities from neighborhoods that need it
His interviews are great. The one he discusses Pac is phenomenal.
Compton Cyco is the track that I bump all the time, Chea!
Going out like Geez
That beat crazy as hell!!
So much what's going on in it.. definitely my favorite song on the album.
So ridiculous. You never heard about Mick Jagger and Keith Richard drive by shooting at John Lennon and Paul McCartney 😢
That’s a dumb comment to make seriously
@@RaulLion-wu6hz are you referring to my comment? Explain what's dumb about it? I'd love to hear your point of view.
@@gatekeepercreativethey didn’t grow up in the same element. Not defending gang culture, but there’s some things you’re just born into. It’s very hard to articulate without witnessing it first hand. I had friends in elementary school that were cool but just kept hanging around their cousins and brothers that became apart of it because of of parents not being present enough, not monitoring what they’re getting into, on drugs, not there at all, etc., and just end up becoming a product of their environment. Have you ever seen Boyz N The Hood, City of God, Menace II Society? It really helps give you perspective of the environments these people grow up in and never grow out of. Especially in the crack era where this man grew up, parents were way too often strung out from trying to escape the reality of working 2-3 jobs and being a single parent sometimes, and combine that with systemic oppression and gangs were the thing these young men formed to build some sort of structure amongst themselves. Over time it evolved into so much more, but these are the elements that molded so many people in that era. He’s not even stating other artists were out to get him, he’s telling you regular gang members would tell him this. That’s something those people you mentioned absolutely did not have to endure which is why your comment will be ridiculed.
You never heard of them being desendants of enslaved people subjected to Black Codes, Jim Crow, Segregation, Red Lining, being systematically denied resources, while others were being given access to land, hand outs and college for hundreds of years either.
😂 really? Stupid.
Drake doesn’t think so he said he coming with all his chains on 😂

Crazy to be claiming somewhere you don’t own..always thought gang culture was weird
I thought the same thing! At any minute they will come in an re-gentrification your black self
Yeah that's the REALEST way to look at it. Many don't own even the house that we live
Some of them felt like they had no choice. You born into the set
You’d be surprised how many of those neighborhoods are mostly black owned. Black homeowners make up the majority of those neighborhoods
it's f***** up when a guy tells you he was supposed to take you out. not because you were organizing a coup in a third world country, but because you claim the f****** Hood what the f***
MC EITH, keep 💯for you and your Family, Fam💪🏿🙏
That's very goofy for our people to be moving with gang mentalities instead of organizing and putting our people at the top of the pedestal.
We are currently at the lowest point because of this type of goofiness and then it's being glorified rather than denounced
this is lovely insightful and real truth. His candor and delivery are undeniable. the truth for real!! one love ✊🏽💥🎯
LA itself is not dangerous. It's your affiliation or what you do that make any place you go can be dangerous.
Was waiting for this ..stop lying I been shot n LA twice…n I Dnt knw wanna hear about no gentrified crime stats
Every time I hear bruh I know that voice from GTA San Andreas as ryda

R.I.P POP SMOKE
Mc eiht really went through alot and had to deal with people pulling up to his mom's house too
Man that's dirty, no respect
Sad
his own fault
Wild to see the brothers that survived and think all the people that didn't make it this far.
Pac was walking and driving around in LA without security, that's how loved he was.
I remember when MC Eiht & DJ Quik beefin back in the 90s. It was major, without social media. They exchanged major disses towards each other. One of which was when Quik raps "(remember) when tha lil brown bucket pulled up on your side?/Tell me did you feel a lil nervous, you was in the shadow of death/wit 2 tramp five sevens pointed at yo chest/Whatchu gon do? Where was yo niggaz dat kill at?/You ain't got killas so kill dat....
And, that's what Eiht is likely describing in this clip, or something similar for sure.. I'm happy to see that there are a lot of Black men in LA supporting each other, these days, instead of murdering each other. Things aren't perfect, but things are some type of better.... 🤝🏾
Fake story
A real OG been waiting to see something on MC 8
Don’t put yourself in bad situations or hang around with bad people and you’ll be fine. Plenty of people go there and have no problem. It’s the people that live a certain lifestyle that end up in trouble.
It ain’t always like that tho u know how many rappers get robbed or killed like PnB rock just walkin round cos they be thinkin shit sweet n keep they chains on while they inna hood? It’s on them for that n I do agree with what u wrote tho, like Q said fk ‘checkin in’ that’s literally just askin someone to extort u so u can say u went to the hood n post it on the gram idgaf if u bang or not if u ain’t from there don’t go there

LA is more cameras hype and haters and more intense in terms of gang culture… but many cities and urban areas are far more dangerous with way more advanced artillery .., look it up but IYKYK they don’t know because they don’t go nowhere they stay in their section others travel well ✍🏽
The last part of this short can be authenticated on DJ quik’s song dollars and sense…..
LA is a dangerous place period
