This is a great effort and I agree that it should be brought back or at the very least there be a 16th episode in the second season, it's implied that the big red thing killed them and that's a poor way to end such a great series.
Hydrassas I actually don't think the Big Red Thing does kill them, although it's an ambiguous ending! I agree that it wasn't a good way to end a great show! I think there are two ways it could have been done (And still could, big problem, Willie Rushton has been dead for 22 years! 🙁) The first one being The Big Red Thing appears to terrorize Berk, Boni and Drut before the end credits just when it look like Rog is dead! The credits roll and we come back to see The Big Red Thing looming over Berk & Co. before it gets tapped on the shoulder, it turns and gets a backhanded punch by the previously unconscious Rog that sends Big Red Thing flying into the distance! Berk and the gang cheer, there's brief banter before we cut to see them walking back to the Castle! Ending two: Rog hasn't woke up yet. Boni says "What happened to that Big Red Thing!?" Berk:"I don't know!" Big Red Thing jumps up and roars, Berk screams "OH GLOBBITS!" before instinctively lifting and throwing Boni at Big Red Thing, knocking it out! Boni ricochets out of frame as Big Red Thing falls to it's supposed doom! Boni screams "BERRRRRRRKKKKK!" as he flies upwards! Berk's gaze follows Boni (Off screen!) upwards then down! " Oh Globbits!" We fall with Boni to a soft landing on Rog's open hand! Rog: "Yooohoooo, did I miss much?" Berk: "Fancy that! Rog was unconscious! Boni didn't miss much, he was on the nose! You ok, Rog?" Rog: "I've a bit of a headache!" Boni: "Thanks to Berk, I have too!" Berk turns to the camera "Ol' Bone Bonce is a hard nut to crack 'innie!" Berk giggles before the screen fades to black! That's two versions of how I think it should've ended but I would love to see what other people could come up with! The fans should get together and come up with some ideas to get it revived and a third season that starts with Berk and the gang walking back into the room scuffed, roughed up and Berk with a black eye saying "That was a close one! Who'd ever thought that Big Red Thing were ticklish!" Or something along those lines! It would be nice to see the Trap Door back on TV! (Although in Stop Frame, not CGI! I'm old school! Lol!)

this is a pretty neat attempt! I like the way you did a different intro sequence. I also think it's great you've attempted a 5 min sequence! that must've taken you quite a while. Anyway, I've posted a video response to this with my own 3D version of Trap Door - hope you enjoy it.
A good attempt, but as we all know, some classics are best left alone. I dont think it'd be possible to capture the same charm without the same voice-actors and the same claymation style. Still, it was fun to see, and you kept it real close to the source material. Good job.
They need to bring this back. I loved this when I was younger. And they shouldn't change how the was made before. They should make it again with clay and stuff :P
It's fantastic to see someone who loves trap door as much (if not more) then i do! - seems really strange watching it in 3D, and with a moving camera! great little touches with the lightning. bony creeps the hell out of me though! hats off to you my good sir!
