    Another great review Lloyd !!!!! I use the Outlaw X6 system, and here in the USA, most shooters use some form of Pilla system. Terrific lenses. So many colors available, and so many changes every year in these colors too. I like the idea of "trading lenses" which I'm sure, for a small fee, saves big money on buying a new one. Sure, they are not cheap, but the quality speaks for itself. Good explanation on the progressive lens. Thanks again Lloyd. Your knowledge of these products is uncompromising. Respectfully, Rob G., Missouri

    The clarity vs regular sunglasses with the protection, especially about smudge is what matters most to me. Comfort is next. Everything else you stated is great reasons to buy over another too. These glasses sound like it's worth the money. Thank you!

    Very well done again, as a fellow shooter who is colour deficient the difference good glasses makes is huge. Mine (not the brand) are prescription (slight stigmatism) and coloured “vermillion “. As far as the cost, the difference they can make to not only your score but to the enjoyment of your sport shouldn’t be underestimated.

    Funny that people wont bat an eyelid at blowing 3k on a gun, but £500 on a pair of glasses that could help you see targets better, well that is absurd. Makes sense to someone.

      It’s probably because plastic lenses suck and don’t last. Had two pair of good glass lens glasses in 30 years and they were affordable. Since then I’ve had 7 pair of 500 dollar plastic glasses in 5 years and none have lasted and despite being prescription aren’t as clear as my old glass lenses. Despite being non prescription. Having said all that, don’t take that as a knock on the particular glasses in this video. I know nothing about them. They very well be excellent. It’s just that I’m personally not spending that kind of money without trying them first. Quality shotguns on the other hand will last a lifetime or two 🤷🏽‍♂️👍🏼

Great cinematography might be nice to look at, but an honest and independent review from a knowledgeable and experienced person is always worth listening to. I ordered a set of CENS DX after your last review and have been waiting on a review like this. I was unlucky enough to have my Pilla outlaws stolen when my garage was broken into, whilst arguing with insurance company i borrowed some wiley x glasses off a friend/ didn't get on with shape design at all, gave in a bought a cheap pair of beretta glasses to tie me over and to be honest i love them, the shape and design, the colours are crisp and optically i think they are 95% plus of what my Pilla's where it was night and day going from sunglasses to these, Looking forward to shooting with both back to back when new outlaws arrive, Pilla is the best imo, but if i'm honest with myself take away the high tech frame materials and brand name i have shot the same numbers on these berettas and my eyes have never felt strained, no fogging and the lenses are really very impressive. I love my Pillas but i am seriously impressed with these cheap berettas, don't think there is a massive gap its lense shape that gives optical dominance in my eyes pun intended. Hope you are well lloyd

    Your brain will adjust to what ever colour you choose , so with time the effect will lessen and you will loose maximum benefit . Take your glasses off between rounds and just wear ordinary glasses or no glasses to prevent the loss of effect .

    • @lloydyp
      @lloydyp  3 роки тому

      I disagree here Dunc, I think you are overthinking this. Yes your brain gets used to the effect but it doesn't lessen the effect. You just get used to being able to perceive clays . You notice for sure when you take them off as the world returns to it's normal colour saturation , but I think constantly taking them off between stands is a waste of time.

    • @lloydyp
