is there any way to link to each individual mix so I can view the tracklist for each? Is there even a tracklist for the mixes or is it just a 30 minute self contained kind of thing?
Making a list of songs I need to find: Found being uploaded to my channel. 23:30 Castles In The Sky (Oh Tell Me Why) Ian Van Dahl 37:04 - Sinéad O'Connor - Troy (The Phoenix From The Flame) (Push Remix) 44:17 - Unit - Who Do You Love (Adventure Dream Mix) 51:59 andain - summer calling (Airwave Club Mix) 1:28:35 Marc Et claude - Tremble 2:22:16 Alice Deejay - Better Off Alone 3:02:19 Forgiven - Sylver 3:23:04 ??? 3:31:45 Brandy & Monica - The Boy Is Mine
I listen to mixes a lot and I always pay more attention to the songs the more I listen to it. I'll get to the point where I know every song that's gonna come next, so just finding it is perfect.
highlights for myself 23:31 ian van dahl - castles in the sky 49:35 code 9 - atmosphere 1:25:02 and 2:22:17 alice deejay - better off alone 1:35:43 opus iii - it's a fine day remix 2:27:33 binary finary - 1998
honest question, wth is this kind of weird music and aesthetics? i'm sure there's a reason why it has very bad technical quality, sound is muffled, glitchy, etc, the images are also pixelated and applied oversaturated and sharpness/noise. it doesn't seem enjoyable at all to the normal or sober listener. I am very interested if someone could explain to me the dynamics of this style, i am also sure that certain drugs also have some a strong relation to the aesthetic, i say this because i've tried some (mdma, lsd) and i could relate/understand certain aesthetics.
it's very hard to explain but i think for me it's a mix of the nostalgic vibes of listening to shitty quality trance/nightcore music on youtube and flash games, and the ineffable feeling that distorted music in general gives me. there's just something about the lossy and imperfect nature of it that i really adore and resonate with.
