Lost's performance as Anger Jack is absolutely incredible, they deserve a freaking Oscar!
I don’t know what to say; but AngerJack’s “tragic” backstory opened my eyes and my jaw. Not to mention, her words and attitude got under my skin. LostNarrator did an amazing job voicing her, since AJ is my favorite pony.
My heart shredded when Apple Bloom and Big Mac died. I almost felt what Applejack was feeling during that scene, even when the barn got burned down.
Also, when Rainbow Dash made her first appearance at the end (in the same shadows as Twilight), that was a major cliffhanger for myself to wipe a tear.
You guys did a marvelous job with this episode! Keep up the great work, and you know I can’t wait to hear RD’s story in the next episode!! ❤️
Anyone scream at when Applebloom got crushed? I was so damn shocked. I knew this series was dark but damn.
Also Applejack's scream/cry really got me. I'd be the same way if I lost my siblings.

This truly is a masterpiece. I teared up when Angerjack told her story. And I look forward to hear Rainbow Dashes story and to see everyone else.

You mentioned in the live chat that the intro illustrations are clues as to what happened to the characters, so I'm betting 5 bits that RD has her wings missing lol. Also! Congrats on having 600 people at the premiere! I guess that shows how good the story is so far

This is literally the best series ever along with history repeats. Thank you scribbler for all comic dubs, podcasts, and most importantly, the 'VAMPIOLENCE' audio readings, BEST THING EVER. Another wonderful episode! What Applejack went through was horrible and a real tearjerker for me, Friendship is tragic is right. I got a feeling that the rest of the mane six’s stories from the past two years will been even more sad. That being said, am I the only one who really likes this hardened version of AJ?
She’s not as aggressive as we all thought, she stays true to herself from the show.
Well, it went better than I thought. And I thought there would be a lot of yelling, blaming or even Applejack going to hit Twilight. I'm glad the meeting ended well... and I can't wait to get to know the Rainbow Dash's story.

This a sad but awesome episode, the AD is getting interesting so far although i couldn't believe all the hell that Applejack went through during the time Twilight was in a coma, but anyway everyone did an absolutely outstanding job on his episode and i can't wait for episode 4!

Applejack's fall is honestly the most tragic of them all tbh. Unlike Dash which was caused by her arrogance (and who played a part in AJ's downfall as seen in FIT 2 Episode 8), Fluttershy who despite all the stuff that happened to her remained her good hearted self, Rarity who became a monster, and Pinkie who broke mentally but remained innocent of all the bad things happening around her, AJ had Twilight (who its implied she had a crush on) taken away from her, her other friends abandoned her, and the family and farm that she loved and would die for were taken away in the cruelest way possible. Her anger issues were amplified by a thousand practically. She basically has become the Punisher of this world and its not hard to see why. But despite all of that, it's clear she still has a place in her heart for Twilight, even if she does feel betrayed by the fact Twilight stayed away for so long willingly. But if this was the worse Twilight thought it was going to be for her friends, boy was she wrong.
Applejack: she was just a baby

Hearing Applejack's tragic backstory makes me so sad. And angry for what those loan sharks did. I dunno what I'd do if I were in Applejack's hooves and I stood alone against those stallions. Take their lives or run away.
Also, for some reason, this episode reminds me of The Last of Us from when Joel's daughter, Sarah, was killed.
And now, Rainbow Dash is here. Wonder if she'll tell her story. Guess we'll find out.

We got the backstory for Applethicc boys! Anyway, all jokes aside, this Chapter/Episode was really well made! The story, the art, the Sounds??? This was absolutely tremendous! The picture makes me think this could go several ways, the two main ones being:
1. Applejack is angry at Twilight and the red stallion is either with her or with Twilight.
2. Applejack is protecting Twilight from the pony being reflected in the knife’s blade (and then she’ll get mad at Twilight later on).

Someone oughta make a plush of AngerJack...That's a pony that desperately needs hugs. A great episode that managed to throat punch my heart (Yeah, my heart has a throat- deal with it). Lost's performance was spot on, to the point where I have to wonder if she had trouble leaving this version of AJ when she left the studio. Applebloom's screams will haunt my nightmares. Scribbler- your emotion in this performance was *chef's kiss* real. I can't forget about NP- bringing a subtle verisimilitude to Mac is a tough thing to do that you make sound effortless. Although I'd seen pieces of the art before- they were all stunning. And the editing... making a crowd sound like a crowd from several individual recordings- I will forever be learning from you, Obab. Be proud, FiT crew- this series, while tragic, is awesome.
These are amazing voice actors! OMG my friend showed me this a couple days ago and I'm absolutely drawn in. I remember being in the fandom ten years ago as a kiddo. Amazing work!

Jesus Christ, I just started crying at the scene where Applebloom and Big Mac died... Yeah, Lost is the only Applejack VA I know who could have pulled off this badass, emotionally drained and scarred up version of her. Great job everyone! I’m looking forward to next week!

Especially since we didn’t hear such strong language in the previous two episodes. Thought they would say “buck” in place of f*ck like in other FIM fics.

This is a really sad but good episode. I like how we get to know what life was like after Celestias death and Twilight in a coma. The voice actor did a good job portraying applejack. Who can't blame her for killing the two ponies that killed applebloom and big Mac. I also notice how they mention how the weather change and now that we seen rainbow dash, I can't wait to see how her life was impacted because of what happen. But seriously props to the voice actor of applejack, you can feel the pain from her losing 3 loved ones and now she's a trained assassin, I liked her style changed, it gives off the vibe of you don't mess with me because I've proven what happens when you cross my line and she already proven that to the bartender.
I love how Applejack is just a more edgy and country version of Losty

This episode was just a thrilling ride all the way through! Apart from my adorable Cortez Kolt cameo (just a cute drunken mutant on the support beam 😂), the whole story with Applejack cleverly getting us up to date with what’s happened was genuinely shocking! Such fantastic acting work on Lost’s part and the whole flashback, especially with Apple Bloom’s death, shredded me apart. I was left an angered mess. 🤬
Absolutely spiffing work once again, Scribbler. I couldn’t be anymore proud. Hype is remaining intact for the future remaining episodes! 💚🙌

Lost poured her heart and soul into this performance (when doesn't she, though?) of the Applejack we know and love descending into... well... who she is now.
That's the real horror of this series. We're watching helplessly as the Mane Six we know and adore are twisted apart by a harsh, cruel world. Ground into the dirt until they're, well, what they are now. It feels frighteningly real.
This series is awesome. Even if it has to go past Halloween. This is a masterpiece.
It hard to believe that AJ whole family is gone. I know it just a story. But a damn good one Scribbs. It made me angry seeing what to Applejack's family. Now seeing Rainbow Dash coming into the story. I can't wait for the next segment continue. Keep up the great work. God bless. Later bye.

Applejack kinda reminds me of an old war veteran one moment the world around them is all sunshine and rainbows and perfect to them but the moment they come back from the war its like everything they knew and loved was just a dream and then they wake up finding everything is changed either completely different from what they knew or a complete nightmare they wish they'd never woke up to i feel awful for applejack and the others there's no telling what all they went through one thing is for sure twilight is gonna find out these friends ain't the friends she knew before

Hearing Applejack swear is something I will never get used to hearing. But her personality change makes sense considering everything that happened. I really like this series so far and am excited to watch more of it.

This definitely got dark, Twilight losing her horn, Apple Jack losing her family and home just because of dept, and then Rainbow Dash? Something tells me that in the next episode it's going to explain what happened to her.
can you guess what this episode made me do? yeah cry. that backstory is so tragic and when I first red this story I was so pissed at mac because if not for getting that shady loan he and apple bloom would still be alive and AJ not scared but I came to understand how desperate he must of been. next episodes gonna really hurt as dash is my fave but I am prepaid I still have plenty of tissues. thanks for doing this this is an amazing story and you and all the VA's are doing an amazing job showing the deep emotions

I had to stop and cry because of Applebloom, she’s my favorite of the CMC(not that I like the others any less I just relate to her the most) and to not only hear her screaming in the window but to see her get crushed while burning nearly crushed my soul. I was waiting for the moment where AJ kills those dealers because I’m petty like that and it hurt me deeply to realize she lost her whole family.
