very true I used to work at a oil refinery and you have a gas monitor on you at all times because you''ll never know when gases are in the atmosphere since there is no smell

I had the same issue, breathing gas since we moved in cause of a gas leak and yeah you'll be light headed, falling asleep all the time, always tired etc. Struggled to walk too.
Had problem like this years go going on 10 years. been living in a house for good 3-4 years decided to see if the gas fireplace worked so we got someone over to check make sure it was ok. Any who skip 6 months down. we kept getting tried in the front room. we thought nothing of it until we started to smell something. we called the emergency gas. they came over and the guy asked how long have you used the fireplace for we was saying pretty much every night for last 2 months and looked at us like ghosted. and quite surprisingly said "am surprised no one is dead". found out the guy who was meant to come and check if it was ok from the same company didn't really check to see if it was safe. he just turned it and was like "ok ye it works and that was it" ended up suing them and got the guy fired for it.
You mean you assumed he got fired for it. No one would tell you that. You don't have the right to that sort of info. Neither does the person coming to fix it unless they work for the same company. Which is unlikely since gas companies own different branches.
the details of this leave questions. you may have gotten a guy fired for no reason if he wasnt a gas company employee. contractors arent always required to do full home pressure checks. if they install a new line they are/(should) but.... you should give the actual findings results instead of just being like : yeaaaah we got 'em fired.
