I'm more of a Google Calendar person myself since it's less "inked in stone" and I can move stuff around a little bit better, but there's something very soothing and relaxing about watching your planning videos!
+Makeup Your Mind I'm so glad you find them relaxing, and I'm jealous of how easy it is to move appointments around electronically - a little sad when I have to cross things out in my planner. : )
makeupTIA I think that's one of the main reasons I could never get into physical planning (aside from... you know... high school!). Most of my events, blog work, etc. move around so much that I just can't commit to doing something on a particular day. Still... the appeal of having a physical planner... I get it. Far more tangible!
The Trader Joes cauliflower rice is convenient. But, if you can't find it, it's very easy to make your own with a food processor and a head of cauliflower! I've had to do that when my TJs was out, it just gets a little messy... 💗
Hi Asley, thank you so much for your wonderful, inspiring videos! IAlthough I am much older than you,I so enjoy watching your videos. As soon as I hear the tune, I relax and can`t wait for your next video. And you made me fall in love with the rifle pattern of which I meanwhile posses a few pieces of stationary ( difficult to get here in Germany) I wish you all the best! Claudi
Hi Ashley! :Ooh, I need to check out that Aloha vanilla protein powder! The TJ's cauliflower rice is delicious and so convenient! I really enjoy making it in the oven to caramelize some of the rice bits. I spread mine out on a cookie sheet (still frozen but in an even layer), toss with some melted ghee (butter works too), and roast for about 23 minutes at 425 degrees. Sometimes I just add salt and stop there, but my favorite way to season it is with some lemon or lime juice and fresh herbs. My favorite flavor combos are cilantro + lime and thyme + lemon. I like adding the citrus and herbs since I can match the flavor to complement my main dish. For me, this has been a clean eating game changer! I'm eager to hear your cauli-rice verdict!
+makeupTIA Yay! :0) I'd love to hear what you think! I meant to add that the rice should be checked after 20 minutes to assess the caramelization level. I love when some of the cauli-rice gets brown and crunchy, but it might be too much for some! ;0) If you don't like it too browned, you also can stir it halfway.
I'm impressed with your "husband out of town" food choices! I always end up living off plates of cheese, crackers, and nuts... maybe olives if I'm feeling fancy. All while I watch movies with people in corsets and bonnets. ;)
+Mary Heather Browne Haha! I'm with you on the corsets and bonnets! These food choices are me definitely stepping up my game. In the past there has been lots of cereal and Mexican food takeout. The tightness of last spring's jean will attest to this. 😳 Working hard to get back on track. 💪
I was about to turn my laptop off and go to bed, but then I made the mistake of checking my sub box and there you were! If I'm late for work tomorrow then I blame you 😝 love your videos!! From the UK 😊 x
please do more planning videos! i love your layouts (: you've just influenced me on buying the nude Filofax! although i bought the personal size just because I felt it would work best for my lifestyle.
Your plan with me videos are my favorite to watch. You bring such inspiration that I just want to attempt doing it. I love your black cat. Had one live to be 22 years old. He was my favorite to have around the house. Look forward to seeing your video next week!
+Amber S Thanks so much for watching, Amber! I love Zeus. I was originally just supposed to cat-sit him for my cousin, but now I can't imagine him not living with us.
I love my InkWELL Press! I purchased an academic year planner and have found your planner videos so helpful! I've placed orders from Luckaty, The Busy Bee Shop, & Kikki K thanks to you
So I totally decided to get one of these planners for next year rather than Erin Condren. Thanks for letting me know about it, can't wait to see how it compares!
I found this video so inspiring! As someone whose technical skills are lacking I love the idea of using stickers and washi tape for planning. I love the idea of bullet journaling but I'm not a good artist and don't really have the desire to improve my skills. You gave some great inspiration for my next planner project!
I don't know whether I like the way you plan bec. we totally have different styles and I am more on the cutesy side of planning, I think I just really love to hear you talk haha! Either way I just love your planning videos so please keep them coming ☺️
Watching your video and I'm eating my dinner with my riced cauliflower that I bought at Trader Joes last weekend. First time to try and I love it I sauted it in a little bit of olive oil with salt and pepper with alittle bit of juice from my baked chicken...It is delicious...
Glad to hear that you like Aloha. I've been wanting to try it (they've always been an online only company); so glad they're showing up in Target now. Will have to grab a can & try!
I love Joyous Health recipes! I can't wait for Joy's new book later in the year. I'm in Australia, so I'm not sure I would have found her site without your recommendation. I hope you enjoy the Eat Well class - and I hope you tell us about it!
Ashley I just love your videos and your planner is so very neat and organized! I am going to meet Katy next week in person!! I can't wait, she and I "met" in a planner group last year before she started Luckaty and we've been fast friends. Enjoy your Gam and have a great week!
Do you know of any planners that begin with Sunday and not Monday? I like it to coordinate with my wall calendar if possible. I am enjoying your videos so much. Thank you!
IM SOOOO INSPIRED BY UR PLANNER that I've decided to buy a big planner for myself :) (a second hand large KIKKI K) I'm soooo excited to get it!!! Btw, do you stamp??
I love your plan with me videos, especially how you like to keep things simple with just the right amount of decorating - hope you don't mind but I'm going to copy you style 😊
Hey there I am a plan aholic that has always used paper black diaries In Italy planners are not so common but i ma really thinking about buying a Filofax or a Kiki.k My main questions would be: what size do you advise me to get? Which inserts? I love the decoration and the sticker and I am crewing to step up my planning game :) Thanks for the help lovely planning community
I see you're doing TIU! I'm starting it too! I am definitely going to have to hunt down that cauliflower rice from Trader Joe's. Do you make fruit/veggie smoothies with your protein powder, or just mix it with water?
+tharpianwonder TIU is so good, but it's KILLING me! I have a hard time keeping up in a lot of the videos. 😳 I always use the protein powder in smoothies. It's especially good in the TIU blueberry smoothie. 😋
I love your Plan with me videos!! Btw, I saw the beautiful floral weekly list at the beginning of the video. Where did you get it? I think you can make cauliflower rice on your own. I saw it on youtube before on how to make it. I think you just have to steam them, blend them into small rice size and season it.
I love these videos!! I see how neat your planner is and without fail I always go back to mine and try to neat as well.....never stays neat long though ( super shaky hands = horrible writing) haha. Do you like the smaller version better than the larger one from last year?
+Sarah marinkovich-durfee Hi, Sarah! Because my handwriting is on the smaller side, I haven't noticed a huge difference. I have made up some work acronyms so my to-do list fits. I think if I had to choose today, I would stick with the smaller size for next year. I'll let you know if I change my mind. : )
I'm completely addicted to my Frixion pens in my planner. Is that what u r using as well and if so what size? .7 .5 ? I use the ball slim and they don't write as dark.
Hi! I was wondering if you had any suggestions for a smaller size planner that would fit well in my everyday purse. Maybe something just a little bit smaller than your current one? Any tips, brands or suggestions appreciated! :)
+makeupTIA they're so fun :) I love K&K,, how'd you find them?...on a separate note, I love your kitty cats. My two cats (Vincent and Theo) have similar temperments - Vinnie needs all the love and attention and Theo is super mellow.
+Rachel Eubling Hi, Rachel! I pour equal parts chai mix and almond milk in a glass. I think there are instructions on the chai box for preparing it hot, but I always just add ice for a cold drink. It's not as good as the one from Starbucks, but it's still tasty (and much more affordable!). : )
I love these planning videos! I spotted an item on your list that was "set up 100 mile tracker". I've been slacking on getting my steps on my Fitbit (I've had it over a year now and am just not super motivated anymore! haha.) Is the 100 mile tracker a challenge? I need something to get me motivated again, I'd love some info on that if possible! thanks!
+Janelle Boss In the Fall inkWELL Press released the Quarterly Planner for the last quarter of 2015, I removed the staples, cut them in half and punched them with my A5 6 hole punch that I got on Amazon (Open Brand) and used them in my A5 sized planner. The paper is not quite as nice as the actual inserts but it would give you a chance to use the inserts now and they are very affordable. The quality of the paper is still better than most planners on the market in the Quarterly planner. They are also affordable at $10 each.
makeupTIA Thank you, so many of my planner friends fell in love and weren't able to get their hands on them, it was wonderful to have this option and really easy to do.
Amazing video as usual! I've been watching UA-cam videos for a while but this is my first time ever writing a comment. But I NEED to know where that "I wish I was a cat" mug is from. It's definitely something I need in my life. Thank you :)
Can you please do a review on the new happy planner student edition ? I've been looking everywhere for a review but can only find the teacher edition ! Lol help ! Pleaseeee
+K Mendez Hi! I don't have that planner. For myself, I prefer horizontal layouts, but I can see the vertical working really well especially if you are in school. : )
+makeupTIA okay thank you so much! I was also wonder if you ever heard of Pattern Ardium Study Planner I found it on Pinterest . I was trying to see if there was any reviews of these study planners but none really on UA-cam www.mochithings.com/products/19184?pp=0
+Diane Wood Hi, Diane! I don't have a great answer for this. I bought it because it was cute (lol - story of my life), and I use it as a scratch pad throughout the day. : )
I really love this. But is it just me, but I find the planning overwhelming. It gave me anxiety thinking of special ordering stickers for the plannner. I actually google minimalist planner, I think it's all I can handle. Lol.
You are really making me want those inserts....I'll need to add it to my planner to pick up next year. You can check out my planner Instagram at @theintrovertplanner thinking I should start videos soon too!

your planner and handwriting are very beautiful! The whole planner looks very clear and organized! Love it !
your Plan With Me videos calm me down! I like just having them on while I'm working through own my planner. :)

+MyMissEllaBelle I'm so excited, and I'll definitely tell you all about the class! :D
If you have a food processor or even a simple grater, it's super easy to make cauliflower rice yourself. It's just cauliflower in tiny pieces :)
+Kristen Aigro Awesome! Thanks for the tip, Kristen. : )
Just pulse a head of cauliflower in the food processor=cauliflower rice. The Smashbox and ELF sprays are both alcohol free.
Ashley I just love your videos and your planner is so very neat and organized! I am going to meet Katy next week in person!! I can't wait, she and I "met" in a planner group last year before she started Luckaty and we've been fast friends. Enjoy your Gam and have a great week!
+Anita LeBeau How fun, Anita! Please give Katy a hug from me. Her stickers have added so much to my planning this year. : ))
I had made a note on my planner to try the Aloha protein powder this May. Thank you for reminding me!! :)

You look so much like your Gammy! Great video. :)
Hi Ashley!
How do you make/drink your Chai Latte mix you mentioned? I've always wanted to pick this up-but wasn't sure what to add, etc :)
where is that grocery list from?? I love it!
Inkwell Press : )
Love these videos !
And I see that you are a "breakfast for dinner" kind of girl too ;)
Lots of love from Paris, France
