always on the quest for a trimmer that cuts straight. sadly this one isn’t it. if you use the bottom guide it’s noticeably not straight. since i am more comfortable with the bottom guide, that sucks. easy enough fix, i just use it upside down but it’s awkward. i also find having both inches and metric measurements on the rulers is very confusing to my eyes. and my blades do not pop in and out easily at all. having said all that, it’s not a horrible trimmer but not really my favorite ever. i’m glad you are enjoying yours though 😊
That is interesting you have had that experience… I use the bottom as well and it has cut perfectly straight every time. Did you get a defective one maybe ??? I was even sitting at an angle the other night and was able to get perfect cuts.
How are the blades cutting? I know StampinUp’s don’t last long. Thinking of getting something else. The Tim Holtz is one I was looking at. Seems like with StampinUp when I cut 5.5 inches the other piece is a dad bit sliver bigger. I thought it was the card stock. What’s your opinion.
I LOVE the way it cuts. It is really smooth!! The blade guides so smoothly up or down … I feel like the Stampin Up trimmer catches when you glide down.
@@raggedyanna6-Missy yes this is my primary trimmer and the one that I’m still using. I haven’t found any problems with it since I started using it. It’s still cut accurately and the customizations I put on it have not come off !!!!
I have this trimmer and love it. Thank you for pointing out the tick marks on the blade. I didn’t even realize they were there.
It’s a wonderful trimmer!!! I love it !!!!
