Today is my first time hearing this song in 20 years! I’ve spent those last years trying to find this and had no luck no matter how and where I searched, until I watched a documentary that included this. I grew up since I was 5 thinking I imagined hearing this song, can’t believe I finally found it after all this time!
I know exactly how you feel. I heard this song on MTV after it came out and loved it. Then always wondered what happened to it and what it was called. It seemed like it wasn’t played much. Glad I found it.
I love that feeling.. I had it with Mortal Coil`s cover of Song to the Siren which i suddenly remembered I used to play on record of my dad`s collection also around age 5 only after I found it again also like 20 years later, but I was 10 when this song came out,.. I had their album and played this one on repeat.. oof and only now listening back to it after a similar amount of time and jeez it`s still such a trip right? hearing a song that is so branded in your brain?
OMG, had forgotten this song and I used to be obsessed with it. Back in the days when you recorded music videos off the TV onto blank VHS tapes & then watched your own megamix over and over. I had a whole dance routine to this one, haha!
I cant believe i was 14 and played this to death...i didnt even knkw what a Bootie Call was. Back then there was enough room for all the groups...the whole top 40 was gold, not all the mass produced shite we have these days.
I liked this song due to its hushed tone & what sounds like someone snoring in the background. It’s good to finally find this song after all these years.
absolutely. I remember the never ever song like most 90's babies. but I completely forgot about the song until it showed up In a Liam Gallagher interview suggestionl list lol and was like holy shitttt. a throwback for sure! since listening to most of their songs I realize Shaznay was just amazing. she wrote the group's biggest hits !
Why are you thinking about Spice Girls while you're watching this video? That says so much about Spice Girls' legendary impact as the best girl group in history. Personally I love both, it's like oranges and apples.
im laughing now remembering my teen life about this song,i used to have a walkman player and i have this song played over and over again, and one time im dancing on this song while walking on the street,i nearly hit by a car gud thing the driver manage to stay away from me of being hit,she came out and get angry to me and took my headphone and listen to it and she also start dancing hahhaa and she said, ahh well thats a gud song but be careful next time while walking!!! good old days!!
The group never released this song here in the US, so I didn't even know about it until I saw it in my UA-cam Music recommendations in 2024. I'm glad I found it, though!

This is the first time I ever heard this song. It's terrible.

All Saints got those heavenly voices that you sometimes forget how freaking sexy they can get with their songs,.

Bless my 9 year old self, I had no idea what this was about (English isn't my 1st language) and sang along.
Me too I don't the meaning of the song until I reached 25.. hahaa

The late 90's and early 00's had a vibe that no other time has ever had.... Still love these tunes!!
That debut album of all saints is pure hits
"Jimmy has to ride in your pocket or lock him in your wallet" was always a perplexing line. Loved this entire album ♡
You probably got an answer already but a “Jimmy” is slang for a condom so it’s a line promoting safe sex.

One thing Spice Girls have that All Saints don't is memorable hits and global recognition.
What spice girls had that all saints didn't is that they didn't break up after 2 years over a fucking jacket.
