I am myself a person who is looking to migrate and have been seeing lot of your videos and all of it was very much informative
One of the main reason I wanted to put a comment for this video was to tell everyone who is watching these videos that their tips actually work I have been applying for a job in Canada for last one month and as they mentioned I was always getting an automated reply form all the companies. After watching this video I did changes to my resume exactly as they mentioned and after that out of the 5 application I sent I received interview calls form 3 of the companies. This makes me one step closer to my dream of migrating to Canada, and I am very much indebted to this 2 people. Once I have successfully migrated to Canada I would really like to meet you people in person.

What is a cover letter meant for a Canadian job?
How it is different from a single page resume?
Does we need a cover letter to be submitted while applying for a job?
Cover letter is a letter that explains a summary about us, why the company should hire you and why you think you are most suitable for the particular role. It should be persuasive enough for the employer to consider reading your resume. It is more descriptive (3-4 small paragraphs) while resume is more point based/bullets. Most Canadian employers require cover letter in addition to resume. We will do a video about cover letters soon. Think it will help many.

Before we answer you questions, there are couple things you should know:
Express Entry invitations currently are being sent only for those with Canadian Experience ( as a student / or with work experience in Canada). It has been a few months (almost a year) since Canada sent out invitations for Federal Skilled Worker Category. We are unsure of when it would resume for FSW category. Rumour says that this years quota may be filled using CEC (Canadian Experience Class / Students here) & PNP. Nobody knows the next move of the government. The reason for this pause is because of the existing backlogs and since the country wants to be vaccinated fully before they intake people from other countries.
Rumour also says that 'IF' a draw is happening for FSW, it might be huge - high number of invitations and with low cut-off scores. Now, if that happens - now or later - your score may be good enough. We don’t know how low they could go. But it is good to have your profile in the Express Entry pool by then.
If you want to migrate to Canada sooner, then student visa is a better option. We can’t deny the fact that there is some ambiguity with the timelines of FSW - Express Entry currently. If then, you may gear up for Sep 2021 (might be late now, since we are halfway through May already) or January 2022 intakes in colleges.
The second part of your question: You could apply for PR as a family, which means your application will be processed as one file though you may have yourself and your wife in it. If both of you are able to score well in IELTS / ECA assessment, then chances are for your score to go up. That gives you better chances in Express Entry.
If you still decide to proceed as a single applicant (just you), your might have to sponsor your wife, after getting PR, details of which is here: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/family-sponsorship/spouse-partner-children/eligibility.html

- IELTS expires in 2 years
- WES expires in 5 years
- Your Express Entry profile will expire if you are not invited to apply in 12 months.
- PCC & Medical also have to be latest
How it usually works is when you are studying as a student in Canada, you will be eligible to apply for work permit after your course. (1 year course makes you eligible for 1 years' work permit. 2 year course makes your eligible for 3 years' work permit). This (Student + Work in Canada) gives you additional points under Canadian Experience Category in your Express Entry profile. Ee points-um koode kerumbol PR-inu eligible aavannulla score koodum. So aa samayathekku PR-inu apply cheyukayaanu usually ivide padikkaan varunnavar cheyunnathu.

As long as you can articulate yourself well, landing a job shouldn’t be that tough. No certification or Canadian experience required.
