Agreed the car is good and offers a practical solution to urban driving problems but not giving a fast charging option is a deal breaker for me.
Of course this will solve traffic issues and be easy to drive and handle. I was hesitant to buy an electric car, but I'm so glad that mg finally launched this EV. This EV is amazing. It's quick, quiet, and easy to drive.
car is upto the mark but the price is too much if a new person wants to buy this they wont coz they would be like agar 7 kharch karne he hai koi vadi second hand he dekh leta hu thats what i think a rich person will buy this as secondary car and youth wont buy this coz they would be like abhi itne dalke kya faida long term keliye thodi na youth rahenge to vo bhi bade gadi he prefer karenge q ki once they start to settle they will need a big car thats my take on this car
I believe the base version of MG Comet should have been priced at a maximum on-road price of Rs. 6 or 6.5 lakh. The higher-end features such as the touch screen infotainment system and reverse parking camera could have been offered as options only for the top variant.
The MG Comet's compact size, limited range, and minimal boot space, combined with a negligible price difference with the Tiago EV, do not justify its price.
For individuals from lower and middle-income groups, the price is the most critical factor when purchasing a car. While safety features such as airbags are necessary, compromises can be made on high-end features. For instance, an AUX/Bluetooth music system can be provided instead of a touch screen infotainment system, reverse parking sensors instead of reverse parking cameras, and dashboard controls instead of steering mounted controls.
To encourage the majority of Indians to shift towards EVs, it is vital that an EV car is available within their budget range (between 3 to 6 lakh, at which they purchase a used petrol/diesel car) that can perform the basic function of transportation from point A to point B at a minimal running cost (thanks to its EV technology), and includes basic air conditioning and a music system.
Given these compromises, MGMotorIndia should have priced the Comet at around Rs. 6.5 lakh on-road. This would have put it in direct competition with internal combustion engine vehicles, and middle-class individuals would have considered purchasing a new EV car within their budget instead of a used petrol/diesel car.
This would also enable MG Motors to attract a larger customer base, making Comet as an anchor and even upsell premium cars to some of them. It is worth considering this option as it could prove to be a key to the brand's success.

Comfort is definitely imp for city traffic specially the absorbers and if ur feet is paining with just about half hour of drivong, then in city traffic this is going to be a major hurdle.. Doesn't look like a practical car so far..

The target audience probably will look for safety, with this price point most of the target audience like , new drivers, family with a new born will prefer a safe car, which is available at the same price point, lord 😉 tata Tiago ev with ⭐⭐⭐⭐ safety rating, roads are more developed considering past few years...this can be a toy for 18 -21 age group, 22-23 pe job hoti hai toh first car toh yeh koi lena nahi chahega... considering its obvious limitations..... Bacha kon ???? Secondary car buyer ? But their preference will be again on car with more daily rugged usage..... And with on line door step delivery of probably everything these days.... Its hard people will want to spend so much on this car.

Good review raghav is best reviewer for this car MG doing fantastic marketing but price point is high , and raghav ehy don't you turn lights on and show us the front and back lights properly and why don't u show charger i was looking till end ki charger bhi dekhna hai mujhe ki aapne kaha ki 16 amp ke socket se charge ho jayega but charger dikhana chahiye and agar MG vale hi nahi de rahe charger apko to point alag hai but still koi video edit krke daal dete.

According to me, this car may not be useful for the targetted audiences. Youth will never use this can to go to college because this may hamper their so-called macho image. Girls may choose to drive but how may collage going girls possess their personal cars? I think this car can be useful for housewives to pick up and drop off their kids at school and do daily grocery things. Some office commuters may pick this up and few old people can consider it. Families with a tight budget will pick Kwid/Alto as they provide the most buck for the money. Indian market is still not mature enough to go for such kind of cars.

Comet is really a very practical car. Kiunki battery ka charge agar khatam ho jaye koi khali sarak pe aur charge kadhne ka option nahi mile toh choti si gadi ko dhakka deke le jana easy hoga. Aur iss liye hi brand fast charger nahi diya hain. Kya jaroorat hain kisise bijli mangke fast charger se thoda charge kadhke baki rasta complete kadhne ka? Jab ki aap dhakke de k hi rasta complete kadh sakte ho.😜
