And then Opie asks what's for dinner and Andy says you & aunt Bee are having chicken and I'm having crow all cause Andy didn't ask why Opie only gave 3 cents
Poor Andy just had no grasp on just what good Opie was up to. His heart was on his underprivileged girl. The truth came to life. AUNT BEE help a good bit.
Then she was on Charlie's Angels as well with a son who was a cat burglar robbing people's apartment safes by giving him the combination numbers from the place where she worked. It must run in the family!
Just yesterday I gave my friend Jimmy something now that's fine what'd you give him A sock in the head I meant something for the joy of giving I enjoyed it I didn't charge him nothing
Thankfully, back then people recognized that GOD, the intelligent Creator of all that is, made only TWO genders, and that, as GOD, He has never changed anything about that! It's only stupid humans that are making up their own "genders," which are nothing but lies if they aren't genuinely male and female---and staying properly with the gender they were born as!
More likely that your perception of it was stupid in the first place. If you'd seen the entire episode, you'd know that Opie had spent his money on a new coat for a little girl in his class who didn't have one, and all he had left was 3 cents. But as he often had himself scripted, Andy was utterly ignorant of Opie's generosity until almost the end of the show. He had that done fairly often during the run of the first five or six years. Made "Opie" look like the good kid he was, and made himself look like the parent who really does make mistakes and has to correct himself.
This is one of my very favorites. Opie truly was a Magi. In the end we find out that he bought a poor girl in his class a coat because she had none.

Andy doubted Opie :(
Greatest scene in the history of anything! Poor Horatio... it's hard to forget a thing like him.
Too bad the part was cut out where Andy tells Opie "You're sure you don't want to make that 4 cents? It's tax deductible you know." LOL
Opie took care of a girl who was impoverished. Andy was in the dark.
Would like to see the whole show instead of parts off them .

The lady at the beginning later turned to a life of crime. Barney caught her shoplifting at Weaver's store.

🌿Yes, she clanged!
Eddie Haskell's landlady.
They stopped right in the middle, kind of cutting Horacio in half twice 😩
Did you cut the rest because it just gets too complicated?

Hi
Hello.
Hi
Now, walk him through genders Andy, I'm sure he'll understand. /s
Thankfully, back then people recognized that GOD, the intelligent Creator of all that is, made only TWO genders, and that, as GOD, He has never changed anything about that! It's only stupid humans that are making up their own "genders," which are nothing but lies if they aren't genuinely male and female---and staying properly with the gender they were born as!
started out good and then devolved into stupidity

@@jb6712 I mean it devolved into silly jokes that weren't funny, distracting us from the serious plot that you're point out.
@@jimmy.r.minnellithis is a comedy and they did a fine job
@@snowpea10 comedy should be funny, especially if it's included in a serious topic
