The undead were scattered in cities. My father and aunt are still in the earthquake zone. Because they have to work. I miss them so much. No mayor, president, or minister takes responsibility. Spain didn't suffer much from the Spanish flu, it mostly affected Europe and America. It originated from Kansas, USA. The only reason it is called the Spanish flu is because Spanish journalists were the only ones who reported on it, as ww1 took the press attention in the nations it affected most.

I can tell you that the mexican american war wasn’t the worst day in our history; yes, it was a really bad day/event, because of half of our territorry were lost.
But maybe the earthquakes of September 19th of 1985 and 2017 are the worst days in mexican memory. Both of earthquakes were deathly and massive in Mexico City and surranding areas.
Even mexican people believe that this date is cursed, because in 2022 occurred another earthquake in the same date; but not that massive.

As a Japanese, the earthquake with very big tsunami and reactor meltdown occurred on March 11th 2011 was the worst day.
Even now, most citizens who lived near the reactor haven’t been able to return to their home because of radiation.

For us in Malaysia the worst day in history is 13 may 1969. Riots happened between 3 major race (malay,chinese,indian). Planned by political party on their manifesto. As an Indian, I remember my father telling me about the Bhopal Gas Tragedy and seeing the ghastly pictures of the victims in newspapers. It was truly a sad day for India. That said, there are several other days that could also qualify for this dubious distinction: "The Great Bengal Famine", "British Colonisation", "Kashmir Hindu pogrom", "Sikh pogrom", and ironically enough, "Independence Day" (for that is when the "country" split into two, causing the relocation of several million people, and ensuing poverty and death).
The fact that alot of these were caused by human beings is just plain devastating

As an Australian, the worst things to ever happen in my opinion are bushfires. Sure, wildfires aren’t unusual in Australia, but the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires and the 2019-2020 bushfire season were among the worst.
It's so true. No one excepted that it will be worst days for us before a couple months ago. Almostly 2 months are passed, but still so many people are living on the tends and they are homeless. I can't imagine their situtation and their pains, angers, thoughts etc. We just see on the medias, if you don't live in that area you can't understand how situation is massive and terrible.

As a Brazilian, the Niteroi circus fire is not even the worst think that's ever happened in our country.
It was the Riocentro massacre, commonly called the Brazilian 9/11. It happened during live shows of various artists to promote democracy in Brazil (Brazil was a military dictatorship at that time, and only military officials could vote and be elected for president). The Brazilian police heard about this event, and bombed the place. It became news around Brazil and the world.

Edit: I would also argue that the Weimar Republic was a worse time for Germany than WW2. The country was dirt poor because they couldn't keep up with the reparations set by the Treaty of Versailles (ToV.) This further led to a worse economy after France invaded the Ruhr (where 80% of the coal factories were,) due to said reparations not being paid. The public flat out hated the government because they felt betrayed after the ToV was signed when they were told that they would win the war. Plus, at least two revolts occurred in 1919 and 1920 (the Spartacist League and Freikorps/Kapp Putsch, respectively). They also had a very limited army and were open to invasion, like what happened with the Ruhr.

As a spaniard, I believe we have had much worse days than the spanish flu (which name is very misleading). Like the spanish american war of 1898, the Annual Disaster, the spanish civil war or 11M.
The Spanish Civil War wasn't even the deadliest war in Spanish history. It was the Peninsular War. It had highest casualties in lower population, it was longer and it sealed the deal for the Spanish Empire.
