- Grammy-nominated singer David Gray made his mark on the music scene two-decades ago with "White Ladder," a self-released album that slowly climbed to the top of the charts. He's marking the milestone with a "White Ladder" 20th anniversary tour. Anthony Mason spoke with Gray in New York.

What generation? I ask because I was born 1986 and love him. I’m finally seeing him in concert in July and so excited! Was supposed to see him last year but got postponed due to COVID. Super excited and been looking forward to it.

Lyrically underrated ! So good at putting words into the flow of music. With all my love for music I'm surprised I've never seen him, need to rectify that next time he tours. Ahhh I see we have something in common, unfortunately it's only that we both had pyloric stenosis issues as kids and the NHS saved our lives.
