I did this in the bathtub, with the drain closed obviously. I ALMOST caught the spring with the curtain, but then I heard it go over and hit the ceiling and needless to say, the spring has evaporated.
😂! I have to have at least 30 of them somewhere in a magical land of elusive springs 😂! Once u get the hang of it you’ll lose less of them. Blowback Masters has replaceable springs for cheap. Just a side note there is no need to remove mag catch doing this job just making extra work for yourself. You only need to remove mag catch when changing grip or you want to get the trigger out.
Correct. Still good for ppl to know how to remove everything. Let’s say I didn’t show it and someone watches this and they need to remove the mag catch. Now they know how. Got to appeal to all ppl and all tech skills/knowledge.

I like the CowCow hop units. Hop wheel will screw down. I like guide rod pin, and the screws to keep the hop unit tight.
I can agree on some stuff CowCow. They definitely make some of the higher end products.
@@HOUDINIIAirsoft Will the EDGE short Stroke nozzle work with other BBUs other than the EDGE? Do you know?
@@pauls.5815 Absolutely! So the CowCow B01 works great with the edge nozzle, standard or the short stroke one. I do suggest getting the AIP o-ring kit for bbu’s. You can find them on Blowback Masters. Use code HSAFIVE to save some 💰. You get this and you should be able to swap out the o-ring on your bbu to better fit the nozzle for better air compression.
@@HOUDINIIAirsoft Thanks for the info. I have $1000s into Hi Capas and still don't know everything. I'm more in the AEG world. I am getting set up to do KG GunKote now. KG is the GOAT when it comes to paint. It goes on really thin 0.0003" thin. Plan to do Hi Capas and AEGs or whatever really. Ill share my results when I get done.

I installed this frame into my hi capa with a void barrel and a EMG / STI International DVC 2011 / Hi-CAPA Pistol Grip, I even went to 2 places for them to fix and couldn’t figure it out. The main problem is that the trident sear spring would not reach the sear to lay on top of. If anyone might know why please let me know. Thanks.
odds are the grip is not fully compatible. It may fit and the grip screws go in but if the cut in the back of the grip where the sear spring slides in could be cut lower thus not allowing a full seat of the sear spring on the sear. I would try a stock TM grip and see if that fixes your problem. If it does resolve the issue then you know the current grip you're using is the issue. Please get back to me and let me know if this works or has already been tried.

I just have the same frame and I ran into a problem that my hammer got stuck after a while of shooting

I’m a newbie. Do I need to buy a base TM 5.1 Hi capa in order to start customizing? Or can I buy all custom parts and build the entire gun? Thanks
Great question! Yes! You can buy and build from the ground up.
i have an EMG SAI 2011 DS, which internally, is agonizingly close to a TM advance frame. it has a 'hammer & sear box' that is almost identical, but the asshole engineers decided to make the piece proprietary, and added the slide rails on to that box itself, rather than having them be continuous along the side of the frame. As a result, i might have to 3d model & cnc my own hammer & sear box to get my hicapa to work fully with aftermarket parts
Oof! SAI is not a bad brand either. It’s surprisingly cheaper to just build a custom Capa from ground up the it is to get a stock Capa then upgrade.

@@azzanoorbergen2136 Yes. However, I have seen some work and some not. Because of that I typically go with Airsoft Masterpiece.

I know video is old but I just finished a advanced frame build and gun will only cycle hammer half way back.I used LA capa internal.Do you think that would be my problem not using the airsoft master set?
Though the video is old nothing has changed on how to build. My first thought would be because of having LA Capa parts in it. If you want look me up on instagram under CallsignHoudinii. Send me a vid and we can chat. See if we can get it fixed.

I got a problem with my hamer when i connect it to my hpa and wanna play it will shoot 3/4 times no issues and then the hammer stuckd half way on the safety pin ish and i have to pull my hamer down with my thumb do u or anybody who reads this know how to fix this… its driving me nuts
I’m having a little trouble with the explanation. So it shoots a few rounds and the hammer will half cock or the hammer will go forward but no pew pew?

do you have to use mineral lube for hi capas or can i use CLP gun lube to lube up my gun? any airsofters can reply
Do not use CLP. It will cause your rubber orings to swell.
Personally I use waldo customs thin and mid lube.

Is a 5.1 slide a d 4.3 lower
You can swap between 4.3 and 5.1. Each slide will work on each frame. A 4.3 slide will work on a 5.1 frame and vise versa.
Man, i guess its time to buy myself a hobby CNC machine so i can cnc some aluminium slides and frames ^^ it does irks me to no end that youre overplaying the loss of a little spring that we buy 30 at the time of >.
Overplaying??? Number one, it is very easy to lose. Number 2, I only had a couple to spare. Finally, this video is more for people that don’t know how to assemble this frame so it’s a bit important they know the semi complexity because they more than likely don’t have any spare springs 😊.

i build from scratch custom glocks with all the bits and pieces and if possible as much of realsteel parts that i can fit.
lights,rmr/sro,magextensions,comps ect...
but what i secretly like about hi capas are the colors you can match and make this really a playable piece of art so to speak.
i love my glocks but i have to admit that this video made think to get the parts and start a hi capa build...lol.

🙏🙏🙏! I have a few others I haven’t really shown too much. Biggest difference I have found between glock and Capa is trigger sensitivity and yes the customization. I hope you build one up and if so let me know how you like it.
