I sold the pouch insert too, and I kind of regret it now, I didn't sell the cardholder because when I bought mine in the store they hot-stamped it for me by accident! 😲 (I'd asked them to hot stamp a different piece I ordered that day) BUT the cardholder is used all the time if only to hold spare cash and cards in my drawer. I say KEEP it! Use a different strap on it and take it out dress-down with jeans and sneaks, that's how I wear my scarlet mostly! 🖤❤😘
I have a difficult decision ahead of me, I feel so bad for not using it enough 😱
what other straps help dress this one down? im interested in a canvas strap but woud love to see examples if you have a video!
Funny I feel the same. I bought it right before Covid hit for drinks/dinner. I haven’t used it much. I did wear it to two formal events as a clutch and I think it looks so beautiful and chic. It is a struggle to get things to fit only because I also need to carry a pair of readers lol. I do find the chain a bit flimsy as well so sometimes I use my black pochette Métis strap on it for daytime. Sometimes I am tempted to sell it because it has gone up $600 since I bought it. The only thing making me keep it is that it IS beautiful and this is my go to for a black evening clutch and I love the inserts which I use in other larger bags. I just wish they made the chain a little more substantial.

I'm so glad that its not just me who feel conflicted about this bag! It is just so stunning but I really only have use for bigger bags, I always have way too much stuff with me ❤️😂

@@bellelvbelieve from what I could see the chain did not tarnish with normal use (or at all for me). I think the bag is fantastic if a small bag is what you are looking for! Ofc I can't speak for the canvas versions, since I had the leather version.
Hi! Does the leather smell when it’s new? I bought a secondhand one and she said it’s new and it’s normal that it smells.
@bellelvbelieve Had one for a few years the chain has not tarnished from normal wear as I experienced with the mini pouchette after many years.
