I had a black and white Cavachon for 16 years. He's definitely the sweetest dog I have ever seen. I have never heard him growl, he is so well behaved. He doesn't even need a leash he would follow me everywhere. I miss him terribly.

Our Cavachon Teddy just turned nine last month. We bought him from a Mennonite farm family in PA at three months and I suspect he was raised in a pen in the barn because he didn't know how to walk on a leash but when we got home and I let him out on the deck he made a beeline for the Fall leaves to relieve himself.
I had owned and trained a couple of poodles and immediately recognized how smart he was. For example he understood that if I took a white sock and tied a knot in it that was a toy, but similar socks without a knot lying on the floor were not. He never chewed on shoes, etc. or ate and swallowed things like some breeds (looking at you Doddles).
From the start he wasn't a "lap dog" wanting to jump up and cuddle. When jumping up on the bed his preferred spot is down at the foot of the bed. But he loves to play, his favorite toy the little Hartz squeaky balls he will chase endlessly. I hit them with my 7 iron. There is a video of that and him playing on my channel (named for him with his photo)

I love Nala now 9 months old and very sweet. She rings a bell to go to bathroom she is smart.
How did you teach her to do that? Our Cavashon goes potty about every 2-3 hours but if we could teach her to ring a bell, we would know when she needs to go.

My Cavachon Oliver is the best pup ever. He is my first small dog and keeps me laughing all day. He's truly a living teddy bear. He is 6 and I hope he lives a long long happy life. Cavachons are crazy expensive now. That $700 is now into the $1000's. Worth every dollar!

Our little boy Bailey is almost 4 months old and he is a magic puppy! He LOVES the crate and gives us a little look at the door to go outside but has the occasional accident. We love him so much!

We found what looks very much like a Cavachon at our local humane society almost four years ago. He is the perfect dog and we’ve met more neighbors since owning him.

I grew up with a Bichon, the sweetest thing. We are getting a cavachon soon, and that $700 figure is definitely low for our area. Between 1K and 2K is more realistic.

We just got one and she’s adorable!!
We have had two and our first one just passed away. It broke our hearts. We are looking for another to be a companion both to us and to his buddy who is missing him terribly. We have had many dogs but these are the best ever. When we tried to decide what kind of a dog to get to keep our first one company, we couldn't think of another breed that we loved as much as these. Be sure to get a F1 cross if you want the best.
Hi we are thinking about getting a cavachon. I really want an affectionate little buddy that snuggles into you and enjoys cuddles. Are they affectionate and are they a calm and mostly quiet dog that won't be rough on our older dog
What did your Cavashon pass away from? An accident, old age, or illness? Just wondering as I can’t imagine losing my little Bella.
Mine is a little knuckle head he loves people and our cat and him are like brother and sister one thing I don't like it when people come over he gets overly excited and throws up bile he love fetching and can do it for hours.

That they do, and may not be great for homes with neighbors close by! But they do make up for it with all the love and cuddles :)
I have two and they almost never bark. The second one didn't bark until she was about 6 years old and that was because we put up gates when they ate and she wanted to be back in my lap. So she would yip when she was done eating to get my attention. She never barks at anything else! My first one never barked either. When he was about 12 he started to whine to get my attention. I would rather he bark, but he was a very silent dog! Loved that about both of them.
Low energy?! Nope! Not at all!
I guess it depends on what what you consider low energy- my Cavashon is low energy, but I’m a jogger and her little feet and legs can’t keep up.
