    Hello from France. I will be a single mother because my husband wants to separate from us. My son has cystic fibrosis. He will go to a private school after graduation and I will pay for it. I wait for my husband to go, and I must do a budgeting strategy too. I have some debts that I'm still paying, and my son will need a very good laptop (It 's a computer animation school), so it will be tough for me. I wish you and your daughter the best🥰

    I enjoyed watching your budget. When I first became a single mom I was earning very little. I think maybe $16 an hour in CA. A few years later, I had to move in with family as I prepared to go back to school. I am really proud of how far I have come and now my son is in college so it’s just me. Good luck with your budget and goals.

    I had 2 68-degree curves. They put one rod in. Also I was put in a body cast for one year! I was 21 when I had the surgery. I am now 63. Will be praying for your daughter.

    This is my first time seeing your videos, and I wanted to comment on your daughter's surgery. My stepdaughter had the same surgery when she was 14 from extreme scoliosis due to a muscle disorder. Yes, the recovery is rough, and you will do everything for her for the first couple of months. For the first few years, she had excruciating muscle spasms so many times. She's 35 now and still has occasional muscle spasms from the rods, but not as severe. If she had not had that surgery, she would have lost the ability to sit up on her own at least ten years ago. I hope your daughter's surgery and recovery goes well.

    I implemented a strict budgeting strategy to track expenses and set clear limits, while also focusing on a smart investment approach. In just six months, my investments grew by over $80,000, boosting my savings and financial confidence. This combined strategy has set me on track to achieve my long-term financial goals.

    • @Florencewalter-o4s

      Thanks! The strategy was all thanks to Lorrie Greta Hillard, a brilliant financial advisor. She helped me create a personalized budgeting plan, track my expenses, and prioritize savings effectively. Her expertise made all the difference in reaching my financial goals!

    You mean i was low income and didn't know it? It took me over 40 years to get to up to 24.00, and 2.00 of that was because I was a manager. Glorious retail....

    • @theresaruiz-dn1pe

      Her hourly salary of 23.74 and yours at 24.00 hourly can be considered low-income depending on how many individuals are in your household. If it is just you, then, no, it would not be considered low-income. It would actually be considered middle-class. Even having another individual factored in and it would still be middle-class just the lower-middle class.

    How are you low budget at almost $24 per hour? Plus, a youtube paycheck? Low budget is $16 or below.

    • @SingleMomBudgeting
      @SingleMomBudgeting  Місяць тому +6

      It depends on where you live and the cost of living in your area. I’m one paycheck away from losing everything - like many people on my income. Obviously, that doesn’t discredit those living on a lower income - if you watched my older videos, you’d see where I was once making $16/hr and also living on my own. My rent was also about $500 cheaper. My income went up, as did all of my bills.

    • @DawnRK3204
      @DawnRK3204 29 днів тому +1

      I think if you make $16 an hour, you’d have a partner or roommate also earning income and split the rent. All my adult sons have had roommates when they were earning less than $20 an hour.

    • @SingleMomBudgeting
      @SingleMomBudgeting  Місяць тому +7

      I do! I use the paycheck budget method and only pay my bills according to when I am paid. This pay period, I didn’t have many - if any - bills to pay. Next pay period, I’ll have quite a few! I also have a separate bank account that I utilize just for rent. Every paycheck I have $625 directly deposited into that account - I never see it and it’s better for me to do it that way, so I am not tempted to spend it!
