Oh yeah, something we can really use. Thanks for the lesson. The count was genius, so many players never explore the rhythm side of the licks they play. God bless.
Wow! Your UA-cam lessons keep getting better and better, and they were already really good when I first discovered them years ago!! Great idea to stress the rhythm aspect too, it's too often overlooked...
Thanks a lot for the lesson. My English is really poor but I can understand very well everything you teach. You are quite, relaxing, simple and effective. Your video is so nice!
Wonderful stuff as always. I vary it by hammering on to the f#from f on the g string. I think it works but you’re the pro! This jives well with many of your other stuff. (Sure love your rockin jingle bells which this remind me of). Took about 20”. Many thanks.. as always Robert. You really help us boomers still trying to “figure it out”!
It would help if you told us the notes or partial chords or intervals in the double stops so they could be played in other areas, like you did with discussing the A triad
@@Dolphinstreets Great! Thanks. You are a wonderful teacher. I really appreciate that you do not waste our time with much talk, but get right to it. So many YT teachers feel the need to talk for 3 minutes before doing anything. I probably fall in the advance category, so your style and level is a good fit. Finally, I really like your playing and phrasing, as it is clean (even with distortion and I am sure you know what that means), melodic, and your emphasis on triads and chord tones is right on target. Thanks! Keep up the great work.
Good video. I think it would help if you played the entire thing a couple times at the end or beginning. Maybe at a slower tempo. Excellent photography (videography) . The over the shoulder view works once I get oriented. The B roll stuff is not useful to me.
Stupid question I'm finally going to ask. I watch your lessons through a cell phone. What do I need to play backing tracks? From A - Z. Not real computer savvy. Willing to invest. Thanks PEACE from Philadelphia
Hey, any chance of showing us the licks before us having to listen to you yabber on for 44 minutes before you played a note! You ask how long it takes us to learn your lesson in this video. Well that depends on just how long do you intend to carry on talking before you do any teaching & playing. Jeez!
Very cool. It’s great to see your left hand from that angle. Nice riffs to keep it interesting. Thanks for posting this.

Glad it was helpful!
This is so great to have the rhythm counted Robert, thanks. Most teachers just focus on the notes. The horn stab double- stops sound so cool 😎
I love double stops Robert. It took me less than 10 minutes to learn it & count it out. Thank you!!
Awesome!
LOVE YOUR STUFF ROBERT
Nice collection of Double stops which open up a whole world of others ! Well done Robert
Thanks Jipes!
Killing It Robert!
Happiest guitar player on UA-cam.
Great little lick.....very clearly explained......thanks!
It took about 15 minutes to get this. The lick similarities made it a little tricky to remember for me. Thanks for a great lesson!

Great to hear!
Excellent, Merci Beaucoup!
Awesome 👍 Just like Josh Smith!!

Great to hear!
Great shirt!! Oh, great lesson too ;)
Hey Robert! Thanks for a great lesson! I'd say it took me about 4 hours to get the notes and double stops. I have a ways to go on counting!! Haha!
Thanks a lot for the lesson. My English is really poor but I can understand very well everything you teach. You are quite, relaxing, simple and effective. Your video is so nice!
You are welcome!

Yeah both ways work great! Just different sound.
@@Dolphinstreets Thanks, Robert. I really appreciate it…
So the chord grips you are using at 4:25 look like a mini C7 shaped chord with the index finger left off?
Thank you! It’s so much fun to play!
Glad you enjoy it!
Great! Thanks
Thank you Robert.
You are welcome!
This is fun to play :)
Superbra! Jag gillar även skjortan. Har du lust att avslöja var du köpt den?

Duuuude! Super nice video Robert!
Your teaching style is awesome. I love how you break it down.
AND that guitar is sooo cool.
👍👍
Nice shirt too 😄
Thanks!

This is really cool. Helps me to break up my pentatonic repetitiveness 😃
Much thanks!

Good point! Next time.

Albert collins style lesson pls 🙏
Tasteful as always, rTr. 🙂
AWESOME....
Rob it took me, I will say the second practice session a day later. I think I had to sleep on it.
Do you mind if i have a little basic question?
I guess that you’ve shown licks is placed in D minor pentatonic position?
Hi Robert- it sounds like licks 1-4 can both be used over the 1 and 4 chords, is that right? Thanks

You can use your phone to play backing tracks.
@@Dolphinstreets I'll have to look into doing that. Thanks Robert. Like I wrote.....not to savvy. Thanks again for hitting me back.
👍🎸👋
Diabolical! Wait, how is the guitar supported, there's no strap!
A stand.
That’s not blues, that’s a rock n roll lick.
Thanks, Lara. Good point. I think it can both.

Dude. We do not need to watch you repeat what you just said ie; “one more time”. We can just watch it again IF we need to. One more time IF we need to
Well jeez thanks for enlightening me! I am a wiser man now.
This sounds like one of the songs Marty Mcflyy played in Back to the Future at the high school dance... Cool Beans thx!
Thanks!
