First solution worked.
My error was when installing Windows 11, I had a similar error, I performed the first option and apparently it worked.

@@brainerstech Hey Brainers, i have a problem with your commands, i can go through the stystem\Library\CoreServices but at least i see the boot.efi when i type in "ls" but i cant open it (error boot.efi is not a directory) i open it with the "cd" command because the "FS#" don't work for me.

After following the secind solution mine just goes through a lot of commands for a few seconds and ends up back at the screen asking me to locate the EFI file. Does anyone know what to do?

Hi there! I'm running macOS panther, and I noticed the directories and folders are not the same, and I cannot edit startup.nsh, including that when I run "map" it only shows fs0 and blk0, which blk0 I cannot look into and fs0 only having packages and other miscellaneous sources, and I can't seem to find a boot or load file.
Brother - pls check under settings and then storage, you should either attach mac install media or a virtual hard-drive where mac was already installed.

I am setting up a Mac Big Sur VM on Debian 10. I have ran through all those Commands for mac already and that solved one of my issues, so now i do get to the UEFI screen, but when i navigate to FS0:\....\CoreServices and run boot.efi it runs with no feedback very quickly and nothing changes... What should i try now??
little tricky brother, recently vb also restricts mac installation on vb.
try the video or try downloading some last years vb portable then try installing mac on top of it.

My VirtualBox doesn't show FS0, FS1, only BLK0,... so I can't navigate to the folder (FS#:\System\Library\CoreServices\boot.efi) to install my Big Sur ISO. It is already attached to the VirtualMachine configuration. Why EFI doesn't show FS0, FS1 ? I am using Ubuntu and tried Catalina with no problem. But I am stuck trying to make a clean install of my Big Sur ISO. What can I do?
Brother there is some recent change in virtualbox that does not allow this. may pls try some old versions.

This video has helped me. But it did not solve the problem with the given steps but i was able to fix it by launching the boot.efi file from preboot directory, It saved my day. My mistake was that i tried to restart the mac machine in virtualbox.

sir, can you helpme. how to reset bios wintel box cx-w8? I'll tell you a little story, at first when I was playing the game I lowered the resolution, then the monitor turned off, usually when I do ESC but this one doesn't, Then I tried going into the bios and going into safe mode, I can't also turn it on on the monitor but on another monitor with a resolution high can flash. then I tried to tinker in the bios, it seems that I have disabled the internal VGA incorrectly, so the monitor doesn't turn on at all, so the monitor light is red, not green. then I tried browsing on youtube how to reset, I tried to jumper the battery by removing the battery cable and I plugged it in, but this step still doesn't work.
1. unplug both data and power cable from monitor and replug
2. see if you have alternate cable may be hdmi
3. if you are able to get into bios then it is not monitor cable problem may be something else.
Thank you for this video. I have tried all the suggestions and run into issues for each one. Here are the issues:
1. When I type boot.efi after navigating to it, nothing happens. It just goes back to the previous command line like I didn't even put in that command.
2. When I turn off the "enable EFI" it looks like it's going to work but then it goes to a command line saying, "Fatal, no bootable media found! System halted."
3. When I go to my terminal to do the last suggested option, I type in
cd "C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox"
it says, "No such file or directory. When I typed ls to see what files were listed I saw "VirtualBox VMs". When I type cd VirtualBox VMs it said, "No such file or directory so I wasn't able to get any further with that suggested solution.
Do you have any suggestions??
This path is where you have your virtualbox exe. Pls try Program Files (x86).

If stuck with shell at the time of installation, shutdown the machine, go back to settings and check if the Optical drive is empty for the VM. Select the iso file and then try again. It worked for me.

I want to boot from downloaded vmdk file from web ... i have problem with error loop problem! i ran boot.efi manually but again loop in error!
Brother - as told in the video, could you pls try changing efi checkbox

Hi there, I went in to an issue: when I typed bootx64.efi (Windows10), it did nothing but showing up the efi\boot dir again

I did the second solution and when hit enter to execute boot.efi nothing happen
Help, I don't have a folder System, only OS2, NT3x and cert
same
