Getting down calcified canals can be even trickier than normal. My buddy Les taught me the 6,8,10 file progression and I use it on at least 75% of cases at one time or another.

I learned from your videos more than in 6 years studying dentistry. Ty so much! You made my life easier and my patients happier. Love from Serbia ❤
Love your videos Ash! 😍
Glad you like them!
Hi doctor , why don’t u use orifice openers to enlarge the 1st 2 thirds of the canal before u go to full working length ? Wouldn’t that make it easier to bend the file so it could go to working length ?
The Summary :
Watchwind Watchwind Pull ... Watchwind Watchwind Pull ... Watchwind Watchwind Pull ... 😂 😂 😂 ♥
Man, I learn so much from these videos! Thank you Doc. Can you show us how you set up these extracted teeth to practice on?
Love from Pakistan
Very helpful video for root canal
Hey thankyou! For another great video. I just wanted to ask you’re not putting any pressure on when watch winding are you? Almost passive with the K files? Thankyou
Hello doctor, thank you for your videos on how to manage a curved or calcified Canal. It really helped me today i had two case wer i could not negotiate canal beyond 16 mm. After applying your technique of sequential #6#8#10 3 strokes watch winding and pull i was able to negotiate it upto 20 mm, however there was an apical curvature of .5 or 1 mm i was stuck, i got tired so was patient so i went ahead and obturated it , hopefully it's fine....could u tell me how to negotiate the apical 1 mm if there is a "s" shaped curvature coz beyond 1 point the file does not progress
During watch winding, do you apply apical pressure?
No apical pressure doc : )
Great video, thank you so muck. I have a question: when i do at curve canal, i try to go the working length with 6/8/10 file but the file don't go to the working length?? What i want to do next??
so i have a case of lower canine approx 28mm and shallow floor of mouth , any ideas for the working lengh radiograph ? still dont have an apex locator but soon
Great video, thank you.
Do you have any tips for when you fill like you've hit a 'brick wall' close to the apical constriction and are not able to get the file just that little bit further beyond the constriction to check patency and confirm working length? I feel like this happens to me fairly frequently, before having any used any rotary files in the apical 1/3 and having used only 8/10 k files.
Happened alot of time with me. Just bend you hand file 45° from tip. Don't push your file ever.
@AllThingsDentistry wondering the same thing
What are the types of files ,k file or c ??
Are u using niti for small files like 6 8 10?
I am having a trouble getting in the MB2 for U1stM and ML for L1stM.. pls help! It's to blocked 😩
"Watchwind-watchwind-pull"? Did I get this right?
Which handpiece are you using..
Can you please add the name of files while using
Are these hand files c+ or c-pilot files
And the rotary file name?
was wondering the same thing!
Ninja access 🤣 love it
Hi! Super thank u for great videos.
A question:
In Sweden we put the files ( usually 10-8 files) in all the canals and take a radiograph pic before we use the wave one or start the cleaning , just to make sure we have the right lenght, why do you not do that? Is it ok just to trust the apex localisator?
Apex locator is more trustworthy than a radiograph
How did u recognize the stone i thought its the bottom of the chamber because it was darker .can you give me please a Tip to recognize it also thanks alot
i was just thinking the same thing
Man I hate the fact everybody’s teeth you look at are better than mine and I’m 17 haha
You may need a stable camera..
