It’s the hottest day of the year so far and I’m boat spotting at Ludham Bridge. It’s very busy and the tide is catching people out. This video is not to shame people, it’s to show what happens and the force of the water. Lots of different boats passed me by, all different shapes and sizes.

Conditions looked very tricky out there
oh dear , what a struggle they had on the opposite side , i did'nt think they'd ever get in , we've had that boat who were in front , Trent Bridge , it was a lovely boat .
I always think it’s great when others help the struggling boat. 🛥️🙌
Another fine video Leasa. Only 2 more weeks and we should be there , we will probably be at Ludham Bridge the sunday and friday afternoons as we make our way from and back to Richardsons. The tide and winds can play hell with your boat handling especially if they are in different directions and strengths so my sympathies go out to any first timers. When I get my car back I am going to buy one of thoughts small jars of coffee ,which flavor do you like best. Hopeing to get the car back tomorrow or Tuesday, oh how we miss her.See you in 2 weeks hopefully

Drink cold drinks regularly. I have them in a cool bag with a frozen ice pack .

The water may look calm on the surface but by looking at the boats opposite you can see how strong the current is. So you had a senior moment with that couple? Welcome to my world!!

Very probably one of your customers. We moored near dusk, tired out. We did not expect to be served, due to the time. We had a full dinner and everybody was so friendly. The duck was
amazing, we had starters and a dessert, all yummy. The service was perfect. It is a beautiful place. Lovely memory. Best wishes.

Not your usual good vantage point for filming Ludham Bridge - think Jonny2hats was in your normal spot, doing same thing as you, on that day. At least you managed to cap Stevie Wonder driving Silver Wisper to a successful mooring
It was lovely to talk to you and be able to put a face to the voice whilst you were videoing at Ludham Bridge recently. Although you weren’t able to catch us on film passing by on our holiday boat, you had actually filmed us crossing the bridge with Murphy, our Patterdale, just minutes before we chatted. Pete and I are back home now, having had 2 weeks on the Broads and will definitely continue to watch your videos as we love what you do.

The current through narrow bridges can be bery strong and the breeze seems to be across the river and the tide is really pulling them. Which explains all of them bar one. He seemed to pivot his bow against the yellow boat, he seemed to catch it 2 or 3 times. He has lots of options not involving the yellow boat but he deliberately carries on. I have rarely seen anyone so unbothered about courtesy to a moored boat. Amazing🤣. Hope you had an ice cream to keep cool. 🍦

Thanks Lisa, for the great views of the boats at Ludham Bridge, early on the boats seemed to know how to turn and moor up but the last two didn't know that you have no steerage in reverse with the rudder but they both had a bow thruster and didn't use them. None of us are experts when we first hire a cruiser but we were all entertainment for everyone else, lol. Have a lovely week. Take care and all the best. Stevie
