"Friends On the Other Side" does everything a good villain song should: it furthers the plot while showcasing the villain's personality in full force. Facilier is among Disney's most underrated villains, and this song proves it, reflecting his duplicitous nature. It begins as a charming and theatrical tune before becoming bombastic and dark as the true nature of his magic comes to light.

Tbh, I honestly saw the same in a similar sense regarding Friends on the Other Side; Facilier ends the song with the "Are you ready" sequence...He dies to the spirits chanting "Are you ready?". He even said "...don't blame me, you can blame my friends on the Other Side", like Scar is trying to convince Simba that it was the hyenas that wanted him to commit the act. Idk, I may be overthinking it, but I found it kinda funny.
I was going to call hypocrisy on "Love is an Open Door" because it sounds even less like a villain song than "This is the Thanks I Get?", but upon reflection their spots on the list fit. Magnifico doesn't start out as a villain. He was a good man and king once with good intentions. But his ideology has become warped over the years and he clings to his power. And his song reflects his descent as he doesn't tap into black magic until about halfway through. Hans is a complete and utter douchebag who toyed with a young woman's heart. His song is the keep steaming pile of poop they rightly call it.
Hellfire is the BEST Disney Villain song as it truly embodies all Disney villain songs before it .I'm glad it topped the list bc even Be Prepared was fun..but Hellfire is just creepy and dark.
I have issues with this list, but I forgave all of them once I saw that not only “Friends on the Other Side” beat out “Mother Knows Best,” but it also made the Top 5! Nice job!

Also tell me that Scarlett Johansson's version of "Trust in me" doesn't sound like something that would be playing in a brothel or a seedy Lounge singer bar.
for number 6, yeah, they got him as a bad guy, but towards the end it was all a misunderstanding. it’s a mix for me. I wouldn’t really call it a villain song.
271: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh! I’ll tell you what I THINK! I love WISH! The villain song may not be the best but I find it catchy and having Chris Pine singing it is absolute fun. Even like the other Disney Villains, Every Villain is Lime
I’d add “The Phony King of England” from Robin Hood.
One of my favorites!
I wouldn’t call that a villain song. More like a silly song.
@@seankent9057 It’s silly, but it’s about the film’s main antagonist.
@@precious_muse Maybe. But shouldn’t a villain song be actually sung by a villain like all the others listed in the video?
@@seankent9057 They said in the beginning they were including songs about villains, like “Cruella de Vil” and “The World’s Greatest Criminal Mind.”
Anastasia is not actually a disney movie it is produced by Don Bluth studios.
That's right, and taking a movie from the real studio that made it is like stealing another family's baby and claiming it for the the kidnapper's own.
Prince Ali reprise Gaston and the mob song hellfire be prepared and poor unfortunate souls are my favorite Disney villains songs ❤
All Songs from Hazbin Hotel Season 1! RANKED!
All Songs from SpongeBob the Musical! RANKED!
All Songs from Beetlejuice the Musical the Musical the Musical! RANKED!
I Definitely want to see the songs from the SpongeBob Musical ranked.
I might have shuffled the top three around. I thought Poor Unfortunate Souls and Be Prepared would be numbers 1 & 2.
Mine mine mine from Pocahontas. Happy saturday afternoon, Emily. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well.
I Think Dr.Facilier He Does Have Some Of Judge Frollo and Jafar in him. ❤️🖤💜🔥🃏🧞♂️
He definitely wins my "Flashiest Song" award. ;D
He's honestly my favorite human villain, but also a top overall with Zurg (aka, my fave robot villain; I will not accept the Lightyear twist of "old Buzz in mecha suit", as Zurg always read "robot" to me).
@epache315 Why do like Frollo?
The entire Anastasia soundtrack is a masterpiece
Be prepared is the only villain song I have to laugh at because it's ironic that scar was not prepared for the hyenas to turn on him.
What did you expect😂
Wait till they get a load of Agatha’s song.
*"Agatha All Along"*
Yes,,Trust in Me
Hellfire is the BEST Disney Villain song as it truly embodies all Disney villain songs before it .I'm glad it topped the list bc even Be Prepared was fun..but Hellfire is just creepy and dark.
I have issues with this list, but I forgave all of them once I saw that not only “Friends on the Other Side” beat out “Mother Knows Best,” but it also made the Top 5! Nice job!
I do like The Return of Jafar but one thing that makes me kinda sad is just how little time is spent with him in genie form because it looks just so epic and imposing whereas he spends most of the movie in just a redder version of his outfit from the first movie
I always question, why Jake's Crew aren't in the Peter Pan movie...🤔🤔🤔
Friends On The Other Side Prince Ali (Reprise)
Hellfire
Wow Dr.Facilier Jafar and Judge Frollo are having interesting songs
Really?! I didn’t know that! Hellfire was awesome!
Disney villains have some of the best songs! In every movie most of the time as long as the villain has a song it’s going to be my favorite song from the movie. My absolute favorite ones are:
1. Be Prepared
2. Hellfire
3. (Prince John) The Phony King Of England
4. In The Dark Of The Night
5. Friends On The Other Side
6. Cruella De Vil
7. Poor Unfortunate Souls
8. Mother Knows Best
9. Gaston
10. Siamese Cats Song
fun fact, in the original storyboard of hell fire, Esmeralda was supposed to be naked with the flames covering her lady parts.
My top 5 favorite Disney villain songs:
1. "Be Prepared" from _The Lion King (1994 film)_
2. "Hellfire" from _The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996 film)_
3. "Poor Unfortunate Souls" from _The Little Mermaid (1989 film)_
4. "Friends on the Other Side" from _The Princess and the Frog (2009 film)_
5. "Mother Knows Best" from _Tangled (2010 film)_
I'm so glad that "In the Dark of the Night" was on there. It's always been one of my favorites.
Damn, Disney used to really hit nothing but home runs.
In the Dark of the Night and Be Prepared are the two I was always belting as a kid. I love the live musical edition of Be Prepared too. We don't talk about the poor excuse of the live action version. They took out the hyena insult, why? It just adds to it, showing how awful Scar truly is.
Poor Unfortunate Souls is the BEST Disney Villain Song I’ve ever hear!! Even though It’s not me the same epic requirements as ‘Be Prepared’……
It's your favourite, not the best
When the intro said 'songs about Villains' i hoped 'Phoney King of England' would be on the list 😅
And would 'Perfect isnt easy' by Bette Midler (Georgette, Oliver & Co) count as a villain song? 🤔 Because thats a tuuunnee
1 Yes, please. Instead of Dark of the Night.
2 No. Georgette's a rude bitch, note the pun. Hee. 😅 But she's not a villain, she's just rude.
All the songs in Robin Hood are amazing and Phoney King of England definitely deserved a spot on this list!
Just came by to make sure 'Hellfire' was number one.
Be Prepared is easily 1
3:10 "The fact that they like honey just as much as Pooh." That sentence was a choice...
The villains sing perfectly
The Kill the beast song should've been MUCH higher
The lion King 2 Sequel is the best there is🦁🎉
lion king 1 and half is great too
@@nerty6 no it's not, it's a trash version of the 1 one, we need a third one which is about Kiara and Kovu
So if Anastasia is now technically a Disney movie, that means Disney has a Russian princess.
Anastasia may be on Disney now, but it will still be in the Don Bluth family no matter what.
Pretty sure I sing along with every one of the top ten songs. Who doesn’t love a good Disney villain song?!?
I remember that for the longest time my mother thought Anastasia WAS a Disney film even years before they bought Fox
It never was and still isn't.
True🤔The animation is very Disney-esque, even if it's not.🤔
I thought the same about all of Fox
Hellfire... #1 on 2(also #1 on Top 30 Creepy/Dark Songs from Animated Kids' Movies) of MsMojo's lists... ummmmm, HELL YAAAAAAAA! It's my all time fave song of any Disney movie out there!!!!!
My favourite, in the end of the Night, Anastasia
For Great Mouse Detective it should be Goodbye So Soon.
Even though she doesn’t sing it, Cruella De Vil is an epic song
272: Whoo Hoo! I’m going to have to be honest here. “This Is Our House Now” has to be my favorite Disney Villain song.
Not only that the Disney Villains are together but it’s a true banger when it comes to Halloween
If you listen to Hans’ parts of the song “Love Is An Open Door” and watch his movements during the song his reveal as the villain later makes so much more sense.
Frollo is such an eerie and creepy villain, and Hellfire is such a perfect reflection of that.
16:52 woohoo only at number 16 and my favorite villain songs aren't in yet aheam oggie boogie, the shadow man,and 18:06 ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh another one I like. Anyway and he'll fire
*hell fire*
Noooooooo 19:37 oh well I still have 3 left that should go in number 1
21:55 oh I also love this one however it's not one of my favorites
26:43 I also somewhat like this one
30:43 noooo not again only one left
Aladdin and the King of Theives had a couple bangers as well. "Are you in or out?" Is awesome! Also, the Dark of the Night needed to be top 5. Ratigan is the disney villian that scared me the most when i was a kid and is part of the reason I don't like rats IRL.
