I had previously believed that these encounters with the Hawke had an unfailingly improving effect upon the style and demeanour of those blessed with a Hawke-ism (thanks for that word). But that poor chap was left clashing hideously with his rugby shirt. Could be worse. My friends and I played rugby at an agricultural college, so our pitch doubled up as pasture for sheep, and training could be a bit poo sometimes; we could have done with a Troy pep-talk!
Maybe not "get out there and kill everything," though. Even if it is worth 49 scrabble points. So is "sheepy poopy rugby pitch." That can't be a coincidence!

The improv is insane, how do you come up with this stuff off the cuff? 😂
When I saw him live, he did a bit of audience interaction with me and I threw him a couple of curve balls to work with- telling a stand-up that you're a full time carer is a bit of a comedy cul-de-sac, so I told him I was an ostrich taxidermist, with a side line training those little fish that eat peoples feet. He riffed on this theme EFFORTLESSLY, we got a lovely, bonus bit of improv comedy, and he generously gave me credit for what was essentially his audience reaction. 767mph wit!
