I started off using ccp, I thought it was restricting bc even though I had the full version I could still only have up to 30 seconds, and the graphs are basic but then I saw some really amazing ccp edits and I realised I was just really untalented oof

As a ccp editor i was SCREAMING at this! 😂
You have to move the top thing to get to the beginning of your clip and custom transitions is the closest thing to key frames
Cute cut and ccp are also the same thing, just with cc you have the watermark and it can only be 30 secs long
A few tips:
Use Custom Transition, don't exactly try to use the preseted ones.
Circular Out is mostly used for in transitions, and it's the other way around for Circular in.
You can use the Aspect ratio feature to make the viewed movie better.
Don't crop when your transitions are already in, other wise it will affect the transition, and make it go smaller to your cropped size, and it's normally not smooth.
I recommend please trying to look at tutorials if you wanna get better, I know you wanna find out on your own, but tbh it really helps.
Key frames aren't exactly a thing in CCP, we just use the Custom Transition thing.
Always mirror your photos, unlike VS, CCP doesn't mirror photos for your transitions, it's one of the reasons why CCP is hard and stressful to manage at times.
Always use easing types(the list that said things like bounce in, or circular out)Never leave that thing on the smooth types. Always use the other types since it looks better.
Try finding colorings online, and/or making your own colorings using polarr or just in the app. It makes the edit look way more appealing and it helps.
A trick that people use to get rid of the watermark is to click on it and say, "Restore purchase".
That's it.
I personally enjoyed your attempt, you don't need to make a part 2 but overall I'd like to see you try with these tips in mind next time, I hope you have a good day.
i feel like most editors see cute cut as a beginners app or an app like imovie, but you can actually make amazing edits on there if you just get the hang of it😔✋
Yeah, my edits aren’t bad but they aren’t like “wow” but you can make really good edits if you know how to use the app right
rightt like why do they ditch it after learning and go onto VS or whatever. I like how simple it is like there s bit that many buttons but at the same time I hate that there's nothing to work with but I just improvise by making my own effects or using overlays and pngs

Omg please make a part 2, I promise it gets easier the more you practice. 🤩
Also a few tips:
-You can make the previewer bigger by tapping on the little triangle/arrow thing that’s underneath the previewer and sliding it down
-“Custom transition” gives you two key frames (that haven’t been pre-made) to work with
-to zoom in on a picture or video just use both you’re fingers and pinch outwards (like you would regularly zoom in on a photo in your photo gallery)
-the “elastic out” graph is usually used for shakes
-if you’re gonna edit your photo (change coloring, crop, exposure, add shadow, round corners, adding borders, etc.) do it before you add in your key frames bc if you don’t then you’ll have to go to each key frame individually and change the settings to be equal (if that makes sense)
-To mirror photos it’s easiest to use an app called layout, or you could just do it on video star

as a ex ccp editor i feel like it’s the hardest phone app editing software bc videostar and alight motion both have an option for QR code’s also ccp doesn’t have as many options as the other apps

(I edit with ae/svp and ccp is exclusively when I'm on the go)
just some stuff to clear up the process if you make a second attempt:
-there are no keyframes or graphs just easing
-you have to drag the little black arrow at the bottom of the display to make the preview larger
-the things you were using 'keyframes' are similar to easy ease in ae except for cc you need to mix n match them to make a smooth transition
-"custom transitions" allow you to do spins and other stuff but you mainly have to pile on layers to achieve and 'ae like' transition (some examples on how to do some basic ones):
-->zoom in/out~ you pinch in or swipe outwards as you do for regular viewing on a phone
-->rotation~ you drag the corner circles on the image whichever way you want
-->shakes (how I do mine)~ make different sections (click custom transition more than once) and move it to different places on the screen on the eND of each blue section and use any of the easing types from the InOut section
-->slide is easy you just move the image sideways :)
-->stretch~ you drag the middle side/top/bottom squares that appear on to whatever side you want to stretch
-in order to add 2 different transitions on the same clip, you have to shrink the blue spacing that appears on the layer OR make the clip longer
-you have to crop the image before adding the transition because the cropping will appear on the transition
-you can't layer more than 2 videos
-in order to add any overlays, you have to make sure the background is black so that you can increase exposure and transparency
-there are no effects (ik boo!!) but you can add them in different apps or open a new project and add them in there
-and finally the part that gave me the most anxiety----------> doNT use the pre-existing transitions they're PowerPoint ones :0
^^that's really long my bad but those are some things I think are important to know but you didn't do terrible for your first try!!

i remember the first time using ccp and i was so FRUSTRATEDDD that i just deleted the app and a month later i found videos on how to use ccp and then just downloaded the app again but just 2 yrs ago i moved to ae since u needed alot of different apps to get different effects/transitions in ccp

after two years of editing on cute cut i recently finally got the clue of how to make smooth edits on there and i really like this app for myself and i actually like my edits on there. i managed to lowkey make my edits look like videostar, so i guess that's fine ^^
but you'll need a lot of tutorials for that, i was sooo confused when i first used it

If you gonna edit on cute cut let me help you with a few things
1. Use the in graphs for out and the lit graphs for in (it may be confusing but you'll get it soon)
2. DONT get pro when you first buy it cause you need to see if you like it
3. Cute cut doesn't have alot of cool stuff so dont be scared to get creative
4. If you wanna mirror a video I use funimate to mirror my videos
5. DONT USE THE PRESET TRANSITIONS
6. watch tutorials cause thing aren't labeled clearly on the app
7. Have fun with it and experiment!
Am a ccp editor and I find it hard to get big on insta but lots of people have got big that are ccp editors (one being someone called "tiny roses" shes on UA-cam) so enjoy and i hope this helped

I’ve been a cute cut editor for 2 years since 2018 but then I switched to alight motion. I use the app every now and down. Mirroring pictures makes the ccp transitions smooth

if you click custom transition then you can do your own and to make it bigger you can drag down under the square
I use to be a cute cut editor for 2 years but i moved to after effects hahahaha
Also for colouring you have to make it yourself, to make the thing bigger you can pull it down and you can adjust the transition length and press the arrow on the transition for in and out transitions.
