Plot
2001. The events are taking place in parallel with events of the original GTA 3 story. Giovanni Forelli, 26 years old man, is a son of Sonny Forelli, also a nephew of current Forelli boss Giorgio, which was lucky enough to survive during the destruction of Little Italy.
Forelli Family is weak these days, though it still manages to stay in the game. However, a short chain of events gives Forelli a chance to restore their power.

56 new missions that includes offroad challenges, RC missions, fighting tournaments and much more!
Story, that crosses with original GTA 3 storyline

Making a mod for PS2 was a pretty hard task. I guess that took us about a month of our time! Not only because of some other things I was doing while that, but also because a lot of problems we had to meet with while making this port. Script was crashing because original PC version contained instructions that were only supported with CLEO, then we had to meet with this game being unable to support any map changes, and more, and more, and more.
I am really happy that this port was possible after all. It feels almost like official GTA 3 addon for PS2! Making you sure that our next total conversions would also be available on PS2 and, maybe, Xbox Original too. :)
Nevertheless, your team did an amazing job! I consider this as an official game, arguably the most recent PS2 game lol
The lack of CLEO is not a deal breaker for me. Game still looks and plays great.
An Xbox original version would be awesome!
You know what cleo needs to do is to add cleo in playstation 2 i mean we got cleo on pc and mobile but why not playstation 2
@@Real_Gordon_Freeman No one bothers themselves with making a CLEO for PS2 as only a few enthusiasts really need that.

Thank you for playing our mod, I wasn't ready for this kind of hype from the community. I tested the whole mod with ~15 fps on a dell laptop, it was painful, but it was worth it.

May I know, why is it 15 fps? I thought 25 fps is common for these older PS2 games.

Why mission ,,lost od protection" doesnt work on my game?
Excuse me, I have a problem with the game in PS2, in the part of the mission "The friend of ours", when I enter the circle of the mission, it gets stuck, please, is there a way to fix it? :(

It's funny to think about that maybe this port only happened, because I mentioned one of the devs in a Discord DM that it was possible to replace the audio files of the PS2 version of GTA3.

@@Nassyy Thanks, but I don't think that I'm a genius. I used to work on this small mod years ago, what I called the N-Other mod. It mostly consisted on my Enhanced Radio stations in VB format and some texture mods, like changing police cars to blue, etc. I offered it for one of the guys at Barcode, but they didn't use anything from it in the end. However the lad got curious, when I mentioned, that it's possible to port audio files under the PS2 and replace the intro movie. For the record, I'm not stating that my tips made them work on the conversion, but I think that I gave them helpful advices, which made their work much more easier.

Off topic, but still related with gang elements. It's a pain in the ass driving around the Saint Bistro. 2 das shotgun, boom. R* pun atleast nerf lah Leones tu in the DE, maybe decrease the spawns? Especially buat job taxi or Espresso 2 Go, pedih jer hahah.

Wait, I don't get it. There's a ps2 case of this game going around. Does that mean you could play this on your ps2 console or does it have to be a pc that takes discs?
You can play it on the PS2 console. It works.
The only issue for me is that it reads the GTA 3 savegame. Game crashes when it loads the GTA 3 savegame because it's not the same game (Forelli Redemption is quite heavily modded)
The case is most probably fan-made.
@@Nassyy This happens because the main.scm file was modified and the game tries to load a mission script that no longer exists
My theoretical solution proposes changing the game id of the iso as was achieved in "GTA BRASIL" on PS2 so that saved games do not have problems

Recommended to have a jailbroken PS2. I tested on it, and it works.
How to download GTA mods on PS2
Which are all the easter eggs in this mod?
so the game loads up, but it freezes after looking for a save file. i do have a save of GTAIII. could that be a reason to why the game is freezing?
Yes, that is highly possible.
One suggestion is to create a separate memory card for this game only.

How did you put on the ps2
Can somebody help me with this mod installation?
I downloaded it from the website, unzipped it then used USB Util to get it on to my USB. When I open the game in OPL it does not get past the loading screen. Please help.
It could be that the game file is fragmented. You can use Defraggler to defrag the files inside your USB drive.

@@omartariq3352 another thing you can try, is to enable VMC for this game.
It could be that the game is reading the GTA 3 save file on your PS2, thats why it did not get past.
You can try to rectify this, by going to game setting in OPL and enabling VMC (virtual memory card) for this game only.
