I love to watch geese, but.... their noise grates my nerves.😮
Performance Pro Pumps are about $1300 you would need at least 1/8 horse power with a leaf basket. Artesian also make a good pump. You can creat aeration by making a rock Stream with Waterfalls and rock. You would need a rubber liner for a stream. But the best and cheapest way to aerate the pond would be a couple of piston driven air pumps for septic tanks with sinking air hose and diffusers.

Yes, and here in the southern hemisphere, small signes of fall is slightly creeping in, such as a native tree (wit stinkhout) that is absolutely in tune with nature currently yellowing its leaves and slightly shedding. This tree does not do so if the season has not turned. Good to see you and I fully believe that your diagnosis will be good and treatable. Bless you all.
BROOKE PLEASEEEEEEE ASK YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT BECHETS DISEASE. MY DAUGGTER HAS IT and her symptoms were just like yours. It took us about 10 years to get her diagnosed and its rare but there is a growing population here in the US.

I believe it is called Behcet….very rare in N America. More common in the Mediterranean and in Asia. But the symptoms do sound similar. Wishing you a prompt diagnosis and treatment Brooke

Hey Brooke. There is a natural way to control pond algae for you to research. They are called floating plant islands. They are used in big retention pond installations. Could be a good companion to your fountain.
We use the plant floats here in florida . They seem to encourage birds bringing in fish eggs which allows a varity of fish to thrive
I love my Solar little fountain. So little that it’s in my bird bath in my yard. And it stays lit through half the night. It’s beautiful

My grandmother kept a big gray goose in her backyard for the eggs. She baked with them! Much better than chicken eggs for baking!

I noticed more eggs that I don't think you saw. On the right side in the big nest in the port o hut . You almost uncovered them when you were putting the straw back on the nest.They are deep in there.

For the pond, I would suggest checking out Life Uncontained. They've got a pond and aerated it well. With solar but no lights involved. It transformed the pond basically overnight! They installed it about a year and a half ago, I think. Hope that helps.

Hi Brooke! I hope you had a good appointment with the ENT specialist, and the doctor could offer some advice to help you. My symptoms are not exactly like yours, but I have had problems with a painful/irritated tongue for years, and periodically I get sores on my tongue and mouth. It seems to be related to the autoimmune problems I have (rheumatoid arthritis and Sjogren's disease). When it gets particularly troublesome, my doctors prescribe a mouth rinse that helps reduce pain and treat the sores. I hope you will get some answers, and some treatment/relief soon. I remember you in my prayers.

Brooke, ask Lester, he's done a fountain ⛲️ he's has done for years.
The one he did at LHL's this year isn't a real fountain. It was a , like a fire hose, that he ran out there & was using a pump to run the water to it. He held it in place by using a T post. He has an aerator at the sanctuary that works off the wind from the windmill. That's not a true fountain either.
Ima Survivor has a wind mill that drives something that moves the pond water in front of the house. Check with Lester on how that works.

Good morning Brooke, I’m sorry to hear that yet again something is hurting you. When our immune system decides to attack it sure runs down the line picking and choosing havoc on our bodies. I have autoimmune issues as well and I’m a good bit older than you and have suffered for many years. That’s why I’m praying for you because I know what it’s like. Sometimes I am immobile but you have a farm and so much to do.

I work in a specialist dental office. We've seen more of this type of mouth situation since the vaccine has been out. More autoimmune issues. Honey is an antimicrobial, try a tablespoon in your mouth. Just swish it around. Sending prayers and relief. Love watching you guys!
Prayers Brooke. My sister keeps thrush in her mouth. Her's is caused by the Trelegy Inhaler she uses for her COPD. I have the same thing, use the same medication & have Never gotten the thrush. Pray for Pat please. She is now in stage 4 of Emphysema & is just waiting to die. She is no longer able to live alone & take care of herself. She has been staying with our younger sister. I look forward to see what they say about your tongue. I developed the same problem in my mouth after a traumatic incident when I was in my late 50s. I went through the same process as you with my family doctor but never went for a full diagnosis with a specialist. I classed it under burning tongue syndrome and endured the symptoms off and on for about 2 years. It finally went away. I also tried managing my stress better and increased exercises. I do have to be careful though when I eat or drink certain things that will irritate my tongue (red wine especially) but it’s so much better. Best of luck.

Brooke you have my prayers that the doctors can help you. I tried some Reiki healing years ago when I took classes from a Reiki Master healer. It was very helpful to me and I learned about the energy we cannot see that can heal us even when we don't know what ailment we have. I don't know if y'all have any healers in your area, but if I were you, I would research this and give it a try. And, yes, I know it sounds crazy.

Here in Mid Missouri my daughter has started seeing purple and gold finches. When they start showing their bright mating colors we are almost at springtime.
A local pond (about the size of yours) in my area has geese, and people loved to sit and watch them. Then the little town found that the waste (feces) that the geese produced over the years was filling up the pond and the smell had become not so good. They had to have the pond dredged out. They started removing the eggs as soon as they could so that they didn’t have more. They had already had to remove some of the geese to other areas.
Brooke, I would highly suggest you contact Lester. He installed a water feature in 2 of his ponds. There is nothing he can't do

You should reach out to Daniel and Houston’s pond guy… I’m sure they would know the best and cheapest… and might even reach a deal with you since you are an influencer.. :) also solar systems can be hooked up to a battery - charge during day and use it at night. Alabama certainly has no lack of sun.

My comment after we put in 2 fountains without a pond is to make sure there is 120v GFI electric feeding the pump.

I found this when poking around about geese and eggs: *The female lays eggs about every 1.5 days. Once all the eggs are laid, incubation begins. The eggs are incubated for 28 days. The average clutch size is 5 eggs, though 2-12 eggs is possible.* So you might be right about the dozens of goslings. Good luck with the doctors.

Once a week or so go out with a big bucket look around the base of all trees and the porta hut and grab all the eggs
You could add baby geese to your FARM STAND! Really....you could put up a sign that there will be baby geese and you could begin to get a list of people who would be interested. You also have lots of connections with farmer markets green houses etc for contacts. Do whatever kind of interview you need to for safety and charge an adoption fee.... You will bless other farms and families and get a little back for future feed.
