Recently quit drinking and sent my resumes everywhere,
I went from being an unemployed alcoholic to supervisor of a team of 5.
2/5 are old friends and the remaining are new to me, thus making my being an effective leader difficult.
I'm unsure who thought a recently sober 25 year old would be the best fit for helping others attain employment, but I'm thankful for the opportunity. This video helped me in ways I hadn't considered.
Awesome job!
1 leadership
2 time management
3 technical skills
4 communication skills
5 judgemental skills
One thing I always tell the guys on my crew "be hard to replace because if you're easy to replace then that's exactly what I'm going to do" remember it doesn't matter if you're at the bottom of the ladder or the top, success is up to you.
Sounds like an easy trip to the HR department for harassment.
What i learned it not just time management but time management of others also
I just took control of a multimillion dollar company. It was by luck and this video is helpful
how's it going? that sounds terrifying. I just got made supervisor and I'm not sure about just that. I need an adult! oh.... I am the adult. crap.
Update ?
@@aftersexhighfives lol same . im super nervous but excited for my new position
I'm getting ready to be a supervisor and I have big fuckin ideas specifically those who are wasting the company money,
How’s the company doing
This video is very helpful even for those who are on the way. Displaying the right attitude keeps you in the conversation and that's the most important.
Sooo good. Luring topics for good supervision. Thanks.
You have been about safety in the office plus cleaning and indexing files
All these are great starters. Also knowing that some people can't be trained. As Ron White says= You Can't Fix Stupid.
Thanks for the video
This is very insightful. I need to work on my communication skills due to anxiety. But how do you deal w/ an employee that has signs of authority issue and doesn't recognize your leadership?
You can resolve that issue with your employee once you have worked on your communication skills, but it’s due to social anxiety so, looks like you gotta fix that first. but what’s funny is one of the first steps to reduce social anxiety substantially is to work on your communication skills.
It's not easy, I had better time working on my own. Once I went into management, nobody respected me.
Hello, may I know what app did you use for this animation?
You can use pow toon
qualities and effective role in respect to educational practice i can write aa these point
Ñew friend here
what you do if your workers is a stupid??
Replace the person.
train them to become better
Give them jobs that doesnt need thinking.
Are they factually stupid, or is it something else? Just because one has the interpretation of some one being stupid, it doesn't make it factual. I think it might be helpful to ask yourself the following: Are they trained well? Are they being appropriately compensated for the work they do? Is there enough staff available? Do the employees feel supported by management? Does management support them to the best of their ability? Does management demonstrate respect for the employees? If the answer is no to some or all of these, then maybe it's the company. If not, maybe it's the employees. However, it could be both. Change occurs when everyone is willing to do things differently.
That or they just have really bad Anxiety
I just got hired as a supe and this video tbh didn’t help. No insight on how to improve on ones current skills or tips on how to lead better.
Do you remember the questions they asked you to be a supervisor?
La espera me agotó
No sé nada de vos
Dejaste tanto en mí.
