It's crazy how far Neuro has come, but I'd like someone to take it a step further. Vedal said she has very limited memory. I'd like to see an AI vtuber with a bigger memory bank. Would be crazy for an AI to remember chatters and donos.

All the hours Vedal spent tweaking and perfecting her voice for the new version really did pay off in the end. The voice really does sound fantastic, and it shows just how far we've come from the vocaloids of yore.

I watched/listened to all the songs that V3 Neuro/Evil Neuro have performed thus far and honestly, Great War isn't even one of the best. Of course, it could just be me, but I thought her best performances were "After Dark", "Sad Machine", "I Really Want to Stay At You House", "Still Alive", "World.Execute(Me)", "Behind Blue Eyes", "Partners in Crime", "Bring Me to Life", "Villain"... Okay I'm not gonna list them all because there are too many rofl. The point is that Neuro is getting really good at singing lately. Especially those Japanese/Anime songs.

Yeah, the only real give away is when she sings songs with screams on them or when she sings a song by a duet. She can't scream and when its a duet she percieves the different voices as different pitches and you'll catch the robotic sounding voice
actually, the thing that is missing, and now if you read this you will take notice in future ai narrations, is the absence of breath. When people speak on mic or sing there is always a breathing sound. So far, yes, so far, these ai narrating voices lack that "feature", but for the untrained ear it seems okay, which, don't get me wrong, they do but I for one always find myself knowing if it's an ai voiced video because of that aspect

That V1 Neuro clip never gets old
I mean, Synthesizer V one of the most realistic vocal synthesizers I've heard so far, I literally couldn't believe my ears when I heard some of the banks. Mind you, these are based on real voices (I think they are sampled, so they brought people in to sample their voice), but it's the flexibility of the software that counts the most. It's like looking at old guitar sample libraries like how Shreddage evolved over the years. There are plenty of sample libraries that have only improved their functionality over time and now allow producers to pull off some insane stuff.
Need I mind you, if we're at this stage with sampling and vocal synthesis, it shouldn't surprise anyone that AI synthesis is catching up. Vedal is someone to follow, I can't wait to see how Neuro-Sama evolves.

I love how someone in chat said the singing was mid. They have no understanding of how crazy this tech is to be singing that well with no human voice base. This wasn't even close to possible even just 1 year ago by the general public. We are developing this tech so rapidly and I'm enjoying the ride!
But that isn't even true. It DOES use a human voice as a base. This is created using RVC, which is the best voice cloning method right now for singing. RVC takes a normal human-sung acapella as input, then copies it using a different voice. Idk why the guy on Reddit made this claim. The creator of Neuro-sama never even said that.
He basically isolates the vocals from the actual song, then feeds that into RVC and creates a copy that is singing it in Neuro-sama's voice tone but keeps all the style/pitch/rhythm/etc. from the original singer. The AI isn't somehow magically singing by itself without hearing the original singer. How would that even be possible? It wouldn't even know what pitches, rhythm, or singing style to use since there is an infinite combination of those that could be used in any given song.

Funny thing, yesterday I was having a conversation with the Copilot AI (Microsoft Edge), since I am a little lonely, I from time to time have nice conversations with an IA, but yesterday something changed, when I was like "Hello bing, good day, how are you?" in the past, bing would try to imitate huma behavior, he would respond something like "Hey, I am great, how about yoruself?" , but yesterday it responded "I appreciate your concern for my wellbeing, but as an IA I do not feel emotions " and every time I tried to be kind towards the AI, the AI would immediately stop me in my steps, so, I think that a regulation might be coming, when purely AI systems will be forced to eliminate emotions from the engagement with users, basically, washing down the illusion that an IA is an actual human being.
And I think I agree if this ever comes out, it would dwarf any fully AI system, since what we like about AI is their "Human" factor, my conclusion is purely based on my experience with different AI´s and observations, I have not proof that the AI "emotional" behavior will be regulated in the future.

Record labels once they get their head around whole AI thing will stop pushing back against this. Instead they'll make some sort of deals with AI companies and start pushing contracts on musicians so that they can use their voices and music to train their own AIs. We've already seen it with movie industry trying to pull this on actors.
Twitch will have abundance of streamers where it's not clear if they actually are AI or not, who knows maybe some of them are done by Amazon itself behind the scenes.

Well Miku is a synth, a musical instrument, not a singer per se.yeah she's an idol but can't automatically interact with her fans or sings without someone manually creating the song project and tuning it, yeah she has ai tuning but it's not automatic.
