Hey guys, watching this video earlier. You are forgetting a lot of parts missing from your base Sport and a Rubicon. Rubicon has Heavy Duty brakes, full float Heavy Duty Dana 44 wide axle, Wide Heavy Duty Dana 44 axle, 4.10 gears stock or 4.88 gears optional, Lockers front and rear, electronic disconnect sway bar, Highline Rubicon fender flares front and rear. Base Sport ( I had a 24 Base Sport earlier this year) has crappy 3.45 gears, open axles, and front axle is wimpy Dana 30, brakes and suspension are weaker. There is no comparison between a Base Sport and a Rubicon. Love you guys, but let’s keep it real.

I think with the Classics channel there needs to be more variety of classic cars. Especially pre-war cars to compare against the Model T and Model A

Thing is worth 25k at most. Just because someone else is willing to go into 50k of debt for a new car doesn't make it okay to do. We are heading for a recession or depression worse than 08 because people won't live within their means.

Not everyone is at the same place in life. I worked hard my whole life and saved my money. At 50 I wanted a Jeep. I bought a loaded 2024 Rubicon Extreme Recon…$65K…it’s absolutely amazing!

Get a used swaybar off of a Rubicon. Get the manual knob conversion for it. Then becomes a bolt on mod. Have it on my JL and love it.
Good luck finding the metal bumpers for $300. I got my take front bumper for $500 and that is a steal.
The best way to get good quality but inexpensive parts is to check the local salvage yards.
Ok, two things, if you're gonna continually say that you're journalists and not influencers, you should talk about news even if they don't 'hook you up" second, the LM002 is lambos first suv, that's all.
Same thing with those old guys on Top Gear; they claimed to be journalists, but didn’t cover all of the news! They were influencers, not journalists!
But they do cover news. They talk about new cars coming out. They do reviews on cars. It may not be the type of news that you get on your local news channel. It's a lot more focused, but what they're saying is they're journalists. They're independent. They fact check they admit when they're wrong. I think that's what they're saying when they're saying they're journalists not influencers
Honestly, I’m always surprised at just how many Rubicons I see on the road because I’m about 99% certain that the vast majority of the owners don’t need its capabilities.
Rubicons DO look cool though and some people just like having the best of the best trim model.
I like my Sport S trim JT though. I love the limited slip rear diff it came with as well. I don’t think I’ll ever get into high difficulty rock crawling so a Rubicon doesn’t interest me all that much. 37s on my sport give me enough capability & thrill for now.
Roman you been through the 80-90’s there were roll up windows and keys. You would have to open the girlfriend or wife first and then open the door for you! You drive the most expensive vehicles on TFL and forgot where you came from!!!!

Borrow a Lambo; he wants a fleet loaner for a month. There just isn’t enough content he can make without putting the Lambo at risk to justify tying up so much of TFL’s funds in it.
It would be nice series to show how 40+ k jeep is good for nothing. Worthless off-road, uncomfortable to dangerous on pavement, fuel economy comparable to loaded semi.... Basic wrangler should be 4x4 with lockers, agresive all terrain tires seats and no infotainment system of any kind. And than trom there you go up. You want infotainment $5k, you want hand stitched seats made from unicorn eyelids or whatever $10k....
After COVID, I went from making $200k to making $500k, so the Wrangler is just Pennie’s to me. All the other software engineers at my company are in the same boat and are now buying these toys for fun, so we are the new target market. Those that haven’t made out as phenomenally from COVID can always buy used, though we have no pressure to sell fast so we are still asking $45k+ for these wranglers after a few years.

To everyone on any platform bitching about prices, where is there a new vehicle for sale brand new these days for what you all think these vehicles are worth. There isn't one. You believing that the prices should still be the same as the 90s is cute but not a real world view. Prices have gone up. If you can't afford one don't buy one. But I'm so tired of people bitching about prices of vehicles. They are what they are.
How's the taste of that corporate boot? The fact that Stellantis sales are down on average from all their brands is 23% shows that CDJ products are over priced. 37k for a car that has no powered locks or windows is ridiculous. My lariat ranger fully loaded in 2019 was 44k.

I think the problem is the price have gone up so fast and so high in relation to people still making about the same amount. That's the problem but you also have to factor in the cars come with a lot more s*** than they used to. So that's also the reason why cars cost more. And no we will never stop bitching. So good luck with that
Anyone selling brand new set of wheels worth $2k for $500 is an idiot.
It’s only worth what someone will pay; after two years of storing them without a buyer, the age of the rubber will stop anyone from paying $300 for those “$2k” wheels.
I once offered a guy $500 for take offs, but he turned it down trying to get more. I came back a year later, the same take offs were still listed at $2k, and I offered him $400 for them which he accepted as he was getting desperate without any higher offers.
It’s difficult to tolerate the drag race themes that you guys constantly promote. This plays into the mindless mindset of ‘The Fast and the Furious’ (GTA) that appeals to the pseudo bad asses who destroy vehicles simply to gain attention and soothe their narcissistic insecurities. Notice that there are almost no muscle cars left for sale in the US or abroad? There is good reason for this, they make little to no sense at all to own, and your pseudo drag races play into a vanishing mindset that once claimed a false bravado. I like the channel better when Tommy’s running things and making common sense reviews of vehicles that will be used for their intended use to explore this beautiful nation of ours. War Tommy taking over!

In my neck of the woods those jeeps with the lift kits and oversized tires and rims constantly show up all shiny at Starbucks.
They are the poor man's Range Rover.
